Ok this is such a cool good sized swap meet Perfect place for coming to buy all your Hawaiian merch or souvenirs at much much cheaper prices than at the tourist trap stores You can also find foods and vegetables and drinks it's a typical swap meet and it's $1 to get in Plenty easy parking Got here kinda late It closes at 1pm So I was able to snag deals as people don't want to pack all their stuff up again I wish i had more time but it's a great place!

Highly Recommended! It only cost $0.75 to go in and kids are free! We went here on a Saturday, we ate shaved ice, pasta, and went shopping! We bought some things and there was enough shade on a hot day. Workers were pleasant.

Shibiz in the front right corner is by far some of the best poke on island. I also thoroughly enjoyed their musubi. I am happy to support local, especially when they're so kind and good at what they do!

The food and drinks were truly amazing. Everybody had aloha kind spirit and willing to help . The swamp meet was set up very nicely organized clean and inviting. Beautiful location. Minus 1 star . I understand why it's in a bowel to break the wind. Heat, broiling, cooking. I Couldn't wait to leave . I felt better when that breeze came back.

There was a price increase to $1 per person. Kids 12 and under are free. Didn't buy anything today I was hoping to get a Christmas tank top today but the vendor didn't have them in stock to buy. So I was sad. I usually buy from the vendor who sells items 3 for $5 but I didn't get anything there either.

The Maui Swap Meet is a diverse, local focused collective offering many Hawaii centric gifts and goods that are great to look through. The variety is good with food, trinkets, and gifts for those back at home within arms reach. Some things are a bit overpriced but we understand that is due to small business needs, still unfortunate to see something you bought for $20 available at ABC for $10 a few days later. We got a few gifts for our dog and others and some stuff for us and we were happy with the quality of them which is all you can really ask for in a market. The food options were also much better than expected. We would certainly recommend this as a go to for anyone looking to support local Maui businesses and for those looking to pick up gifts for those back at home. Stopped by before heading to airport. It's $1 to get in. Some vendors are really pricey like $55/shirt but you can still find some deals especially 5 tshirts for $20. Still should stop by if you're ever in Maui. There's still a lot of different vendors.

We always enjoy going to the Maui Swap Meet. There are countless booths selling food, drinks, produce, and snacks; clothes; jewelry; bath and body products; souvenirs, beautiful artwork and crafts; etc. There was a food truck selling musubi. I got a miso garlic chicken musubi, and it was unbelievably delicious! I also bought some radishes that were huge and delicious. We had a great time!

Prepare: Arrive early because it can get hot here! Bring water, sunscreen & hats if you choose (especially for kiddos) This is the oldest open air market in Maui and has something for everyone! You don't want to miss the chance to shop with 140 local vendors! Tropical fruits, veggies, food, crafts and the most well priced souvenirs in Maui (plus every purchase goes straight to a local family, some who have vended here for 30+ years). WHERE TO START: Take the first left after the entrance and head for the most amazing mango, banana, guava and lilkoi bread at Maui Nord Farm booth! If you are hot already, pick up one of their handcrafted Guava or Likikoi sodas made with real fruit puree. I like the Likikoi best (also is a fun picture with the cute umbrellas) They even have gluten free options & if you are traveling with a gluten free person, you will want to stock up on the breads! Next door to them are great tacos at yellow belly or fabulous hats if you forgot yours! BEST MEAL: If you are a foodie or want to try one of the best meals in kahalui--go to Shibiz! Run by an incredible chef and his fam who are serving the freshest poke, mouthwatering spam musubi (not like you have ever had it) and my fav is the ahi katsu. *Take the first right after entrance to find this dream level food *First right dead ends to them BEST SHAVE ICE: Maui Girls is the best at the swap meet! *Take the first left after the entrance and it will take you there FRUITS & VEGGIES: On the very back road of the swap meet, you will find fruits and veggies BEST BANANA BREAD: Maui Nord Farm booth (Gluten free available) BEST DEALS for the BARGAIN SHOPPER: *Take the first left and you will find the best priced items at the swap meet for people looking for lots of gifts. (Purses, tshirts, keychains, jewelry, Christmas ornaments) BATHROOM: There are only porta potties here so plan ahead or go to the very back road to find them. There is a real handwashing station here WHAT TO DO AFTER SWAP MEET? Drive to Iao Valley (15 minutes), go to historic Wailuku town (8 min), visit MOMONA bakery (best and cutest bakery on the island), drive to Paia town (10 min), visit Kanaha beach in kahalui (5 mins)!for amazing views of the west Mauis mountains from the sand. Kanaha beach park also has its own unofficial cat sanctuary (just drive into the park to have all the sightings for the cat lover among you).

I love this swap meet! I entered thinking it would either be a farmers market with produce, or a janky flea market like the one at Alina Stadium on Oahu. Guess what... nether! It's a cool little swap meet with mostly artisan goods. And the prices are reasonable! Note too much duplication both to both either. You can also find good deals in souvenirs. Not a ton but enough. Had great Shave Ice at a very good price at Maui Girls Shave Ice. Oh and it's a large parking lot so no need to stewed about finding parking. I'm going here every time I hit up Maui from note on!

    Megan T.

$1 cash entrance fee, lots of food, produce, souvenir stalls! Everyone is friendly and lots of room to walk around. Recommend getting there early to beat the heat.

The fruits are pricier than going to foodland farms, so it depends whether you can find ripe fruits there or to then look at this market as an option. They have a variety of coffee beans and grounds, jams, chocolates, dried fruits and candies, etc. I bought a bunch of manoa chocolate bars there as their prices were cheaper than other grocery stores. Manoa chocolate bars are tasty and their dark chocolate single origin bars are amazing! They taste like having some alcohol flavor to it but without any alcohol flavors - this is due to the cocoa beans used was properly fermented and then processed for the natural delightful flavor of cocoa. Simple amazing!

They have pivoted hard into locally made food items versus local produce which I respect given all that Maui continues to recover from. They do have a very large inventory of candies, cookies, chocolate, spices, nuts, honey and coffee to choose from and they will ship for you which is great. Not free but it's a good service to offer. I don't like to shop at big box versus local however when the mark up is by $10 I have to go with the big W for the 100% Kona coffee as an example. Mark up a couple bucks, no problem. Ample parking including food trucks nearby so it's a busy place. Have a look and you decide. Hubby did buy a small bag of double chocolate Honolulu Cookie Company cookies which we hadn't seen elsewhere.

From Bao Buns to coconut ice cream, shortbread to finger bananas, salsa to sourdough, shave ice to mangos, they have something to tempt every palate, including a guy who cracks a mean coconut in front of you for a coconut water fix, quenchingly good on a hot day. The Hub is an amazing aggregator of local produce, eggs, meat and seafood, specialty foods and value-added products, herbs, and body care items, with freshly harvested seasonal offerings every week. How it works: create an account, place your order between noon Saturday and midnight Monday, and choose your pickup or delivery option (pickups are on Thursday, Fridays, or Saturdays, depending on location). If you're trying to eat more local and sustainably grown food but farmers markets aren't meeting your needs, check out Maui Hub. Last Saturday I had a soaked through box and when I opened it the kombucha I ordered was on its side and had leaked all over everything and was half empty.
