For all the years I've been lucky enough to make visits, I have always made a visit to this magical cart of homemade goods, with HANDS DOWN THE BEST BANANA BREAD on any of the islands!!! Anyone try to tell me otherwise I will argue with you (lovingly with aloha of course). Each piece is just so moist and delicious, not overly sweet. And I love the Mac nut one. Adds some great texture. The kindness of the team is just the epitome of aloha... it's wonderful to see the community keep what makes Hawaii so special, and also preserve what has made 20 years of visits feel like the very first time... You also can't beat the prices for the quality. And also be kind and bring cash! While they accept CC, this saves the transaction fee! Mahalo Aunty Lia for making this mainland girl feel the love!!!

Aunty Lia always tells me to call ahead to pre-order, and they'll be ready and waiting for me! I need to do this!!! However, I can always find something scrumptious to buy here. The large breads are $8, and the small loaves are $5. This visit, I tried the small lilikoi loaf, and it was divine, subtly sweet and moist. On the next Saturday, I bought the mango loaf, which I promptly froze to bring back home to the mainland. Yes, I want to continue my Maui vacation when I get home! Mahalo, Aunty Lia!

I had the peach cobbler warmed up and a la mode, and it was delicious. Crumble toppings on pie are my absolute favorite, that buttery, crumbly goodness you wish would never end. Hubby had the key lime pie a la mode, and it was the perfect balance of creamy sweetness and tart, but not too tart. Both slices came with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, which is the only way to do it. The service was friendly, too. The indoor seating was full, so we sat outside, which turned out to be lovely for people watching and enjoying the fresh air. If you have a sweet tooth and appreciate a proper slice of pie, Maui Pie is worth the trip. Highly recommend, and I'll see you there for more peach cobbler!

I think the last time was before they changed ownership. Walked in & the vibe was overall different. The store is brighter with music playing . Ive also noticed that they're now on social media, which I'm sire has helped bring in business for them. I went for the special which was the hot pastrami sandwich & I chose Caesar salad for my side. It came on a nice thick bread filled with a generous portion of meat. Really tasty & even though I didnt eat it right away the bread wasnt soggy. I'm really not a salad girlie, but decided that it was a good pairing for that sandwich. If you havent been into stillwells in years, definitely make it back there if you can.

Obviously the big draw at this popular bakery is their sticky treats, cream horns are in 2 sizes and decadent, Hubby loved their fruit tart and the apple slice. Larger cakes are available too. We stopped by for breakfast after dropping off a friend at OGG for an early flight as they were one of the few places open at that time. Hubbs chose the special Island Boy and enjoyed the spam, bacon, soft scrambled egg and French toast combo. Very filling. I opted for the fried egg sandwich with 2 eggs, mayo, cheese and tomato on Rye. I was a little disappointed as it didn't have too much taste of rye with soft bread. It definitely needed hot sauce to pep it up. However it was filling and cooked to order. They also do salads and sandwiches and sell coffee and Hawaiian salt too. We will definitely be back for sticky treats again.
