If you dine in, they'll give you a number and deliver your food to your table. There's a water, utensils, and condiment station along with a rack to put your dirty dishes when you're done. I got an Iced Chai Latte with Almond Milk which is delicious especially since I am a Chai lover. And my go to is the Smashed Avocado Toast with feta crumbles, sprouts and a few cherry tomatoes. I always add an egg for protein but you have the option to add 2. I kept staring at the pastries in the glass showcase near the register so after finishing my toast, I treated myself to a Cinnamon Roll (baked and delivered by a local Argentine bakery-Momona) & that was the best decision of the day LOL! I mean I'm not a cinnamon roll person but this was flaky, crispy, oozing with Cream Cheese frosting! Everything you'd ever want your cinnamon roll to be! I would literally come back just for this. I did wish it was a tad on the affordable side since everything together was maybe $25-30. I definitely wouldn't come here often but not bad if you'd like a good drink and pastry once in a while.

Half-way through my time here, the I noticed that most of the servers started to expect me and knew my name. And when it was time for me to leave (so sad), the wished me a heart felt safe trip home. It was on a crispy, flaky...and might I add...buttery croissant with thick slices of turkey, tomato, creamy pesto aioli and melted provolone! It came with some chips and dill pickle on the side. The only downside was the price-it was about $17 so I'm sure I'll treat myself once in a good while to this. My small smoothie was $8 but refreshing nonetheless. I love the vibes inside with hanging plants and art work throughout. There was someone doing remote work or school in the corner with her sleepy golden retriever next to her, a few locals outside and some visitors inside. The Ugly: *Pricing on the Açaí bowls are borderline obscene @$16/lg ($14/small). That's not to say they were bad but for that price, it better be the best açaí bowl I've ever had. As I still haven't had breakfast it was just perfect. Not just any coffee bar but a Filipino inspired flavors and that they were from Maui as well, they were here with a neighboring food truck and found out it was their first time here and if all goes well they may return which is a wonderful thing to hear. Glancing over their menu I was indecisive between the "Turon" a banana lumpia inspired sip or their Ube Matcha Milk Tea with Oatmilk along with their Pandesal Breakfast Sandwich. As I watched them create my drink and make my breakfast sandwich I was sad not to see the green from the matcha as it looked like it was just a Ube drink and my breakfast sandwich was delicious though wished they heated up the pandesal a bit as it was just cold. The service is nice and polite as they made drinks quite fast and efficient, I do hope to see them return here as I really want to try the Turon coffee which I guess is the perk that Maui has. I've mostly given up my coffee ways lately, but I think I've found my new go-to alternative here -- their Ube Matcha Milk Tea. I've tried it with both oat milk and whole milk, and surprisingly, I prefer the oat milk version. It gives the drink a thicker, creamier texture and really lets the ube flavor shine over the matcha (which I love). The drinks come in pretty generous sizes -- 20oz or 24oz -- though I'd personally love to see a 16oz option for iced drinks. I've yet to finish a full 20oz before the caffeine buzz kicks in! My only other suggestion would be to add a touch more ice as it often melts before I can even get to my office. I also tried the pandesal breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and bacon, which was decent -- nothing too fancy, but it did the job. So far, I've really enjoyed my visits here. There's never been a line, service is quick, and I'm usually in and out in under 10 minutes. It's a convenient stop with some creative drinks you won't find elsewhere. Next on my try list is the Ube Taro Cloud! If you're looking to switch up your usual coffee run and try something uniquely Filipino-inspired, Kapwa Coffee Bar is definitely worth a stop!
