Waialua moana bowl
Will P.

Definitely a great place to stop if you're near whalers village, a little of something for everyone. I got the island latte, solid drink nothing too spectacular. Pricing was pretty fair. The waialua moana bowl, however, was one of the best bowls I've ever had. The mix was on the sweeter side (I love sweets) and the mix ins gave it a nice sweet and savory feel. The house made coconut peanut butter was delicious and something I would buy by the jar and made a great topping to the bowl. I will be back whenever I'm on the island because it is a bowl I will be thinking about chronically

Our first coffee run during our trip! The latte was on the sweeter side and the black coffee tasted more medium/light roasted :) It was very busy but the line went by very quick. They also have souvenirs that you can buy inside the store.

Iced premium matcha with haupia coconut cream

This is a super popular coffee/breakfast place in Whaler's Village! It's one of the only coffee shops so it gets crowded. We came on a Saturday morning and there was a long line, but it moved pretty fast. While you're in line, you move past a few rows of trinkets for sale, like various types of coffee bags, Hawaiian sea salt, coffee accessory and a few other items. I was tempted to buy some but a lot of items didn't have the price listed, so I ended up not buying any. I ordered an iced premium matcha with haupia coconut cream, and my husband got a macadamia nut latte. The matcha was excellent! They call it premium for good reason - they actually hand whisk it using a traditional matcha whisk, and the matcha flavor is prominent in the latte, not like your standard coffee chain matchas. The coconut cream on top was a great addition. It wasn't really sweet, but still had a noticeable but not too in-your-face coconut flavor, which is just what I was hoping for. My husband's latte was not that great. The coffee was kind of bitter and the macadamia flavor was pretty subtle. He ended up only drinking about half and tossed the rest. His latte was half caff, so maybe that was why the coffee was kind of bitter, but it's hard to say. I still think it's a great coffee shop though!

I've been coming here and to their other locations on the islands for years, mainly for the delicious Island Latte. This time I gave their açaí bowl a try and was very pleasantly surprised! I usually only get açaí from Mo 'Ono while on Maui, but this one held its own. A bit pricey, but well worth it!

We were visiting Maui for our first time, I woke up super early due to time difference and needed coffee. I found thw coffee shop by accident as it was walking distance from our resort. I was so happy to find this place! Best coffee, friendly staff, and a cute spot to sit and enjoy your coffee if you wanted too. The Americano hot or iced with carmel drizzle was the two coffees we tried. The coffee flavor was not lost with the carmel.

Lilikoi acai bowl

I'm a fan of the Island Vintage brand, but this location could use a little bit of work. It was my first time at this one. First off, I generally love their acai bowls, particularly the lilikoi one. The fruit is always fresh, the lilikoi honey is amazing, and it's overall well balanced. When I received mine, the bottom acai portion was pretty runny, almost like liquid, it barely held up. I ate it right away so it didn't really have time to melt, but it was pretty busy, so I'm not sure if it was a quality control issue. I also asked one of the workers to validate, and she was pretty unfriendly about it, letting us know we need to spend over $25 to get validation. Our group all ordered above that threshold individually - so collectively we probably spent $150-$200, the attitude was not necessary. Besides that, they could do a better job of cleaning regularly since they are busy, the tables were dirty and sticky, not well maintained.

Croissant, eggs and Pitaya smoothie

Major props for the staff because it can get so busy and they work so fast! I loved the eggs because they were perfectly seasoned and tasted like they were cooked in butter. The papaya was so fresh and perfect to start the day!

A solid coffee option and open early which is nice. My husband's hot island latte was really good. My iced coffee was ok...a little watery for my liking. But not a bad coffee and it seemed like they have a variety of other items on the menu if you're awake and need something quickly.

Very popular place for breakfast. I strongly suggest ordering online mobile to skip the line out the door. Still took over 20 minutes. Plenty of seating in the area. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and Acai bowl. Sandwich was good. No complaints. My wife couldn't finish the bowl. Coffee was also decent.

Local tourist favorite. Their coffees and Acai bowls are good for a quick and delicious breakfast. Always visit when in town. This one is right in the heart of Whalers Village. Quick service.

Busy coffee because it's good. Don't wait in line, just do an online order and walk to the front and pick it up. It saves so much time! I usually get their chai latte on ice and it's really good. It's like a treat. My husband gets their double espresso shot with whip over ice. Located in Whalers village. Worth a visit. Line gets long about 30 minutes after opening.

Conveniently located inside Whalers Village, this is a must-visit whenever you're in Maui. I've been here multiple times, and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you're looking for a refreshing breakfast or snack after the beach, their açaí bowls are some of the best on the island. We tried two different bowls, and both were beautifully presented and loaded with fresh fruit. The açaí was perfectly blended and topped with sweet papaya, raspberries, toasted coconut, and a creamy scoop of frozen yogurt. The other bowl was topped with fresh bananas, strawberries, and blueberries, little bit of honey to add some sweetness, making it light and refreshing. Everything was made fresh, the portions were generous, and the presentation was appreciated--even decorated with fresh orchid flowers. One of the best parts is that you can customize your bowl exactly how you like it. They also offer flavorful coffee drinks that pair perfectly with breakfast. It's a walk-up counter where you order first, and there's plenty of indoor seating to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. We look forward to coming back every time we visit Maui!

My favorite - the bacon & egg bagel
Phoebe T.

Don't come unless you have hella time to wait. Took almost an hour for everything (from standing in line to order, to picking up) Matcha latte - mid - nothing special, just matcha. Açaí bowl - delicious, good for snacking especially after the beach. My favorite is the bacon & egg bagel. Super flavorful & goes beyond a typical "bacon & egg bagel", love all the added greens & avocado to it. The croissant ham & egg breakfast sandwich was delicious as well - my daughter loved the ham on it. Overall, I can see why this place is busy - however, I'd only come back if I wasn't rushing to beat the tides at the beach.

First, I think their smoothies are more reasonable than Island Vintage even if they have a smaller selection. Also, I discovered their hot food! I got the smoky Tempeh burrito, which is made with a Pea based Tempeh rather than soy. Comes in a whole wheat tortilla with red cabbage and a yummy sauce. Super reasonable and more interesting than hotel food. I got two smoothies while I was visiting. The first is the strawberry one that's the first on their menu. It was tasty but not particularly memorable. Later in the week I got the mint and chocolate one. It sounded a little sketch, like mint chocolate chip ice cream. But it was really refreshing and natural, like a Mojito that had a little bit of chocolate. The fresh mint plus the macadamia milk and fruit paired really well with the chocolate. Definitely recommend!

I am an açaí bowl snob. I cannot get enough of them. These açaí bowls definitely tasted the healthiest of the ones we tried in Maui. Low sugar content which makes them a little less tasty but I loved the additional protein in mine. Would go back for a juice but will probably go to a different t açaí spot for my fix!

We stayed on the Westin property for a week and we found ourselves stopping by several times a day…read more We would often swing by for a quick pog, coconut water, or a quick snack, but more often stopped by for the staff. Most of the employees at Mahele Market are Filipino and I only have high praises for every single one of them. They were all incredibly kind, hospitable, and had great customer service! I wasn't able to get most of their names unfortunately, but I do want to shout out 2 specific people: - Kharen (I hope I spelled her name right!) was so bubbly and made each visit inside the market fun and lively - even if it was a quick trip inside. She had amazing customer service and was very friendly! - Carlito/Carl - I truly don't have enough kind words about this man. He was so genuine, so kind, very hospitable, and overall just an amazing person. He was usually the first person I would see when I would walk into the market and he always had a smile on his face! Carlito had amazing customer service was truly so great and truly so friendly. We probably visited/stopped by 2-3 times a day and considering we were there for just about a week, we were in there between 12-8 times or so. Every single experience was great and I can't thank the staff enough. If any of them are reading this, salamat po sa lahat and mahalo times a million! And to their manager, you have a stellar team. Words can't describe how genuine and phenomenal every single one of them are at their jobs!

I cannot vouch for the cooked food, but the premade food for grab and Go was good, and items I…read moredidn't actually try also looked good. Hey, it's a convenient place to grab something to eat and maybe some coffee. Located right near the Westin pool. They got a lot of good snacks here. The people helping you are really hospitable. And prices aren't cheap, but they won't break the bank either.
