Nothing better than a refreshing açaí bowl after a warm hike along the coast. I love this spot because it has a generous menu and plenty of seating inside. We tried the island vibes açaí bowl that had granola, bananas, strawberries, lilikoi butter, and graham cracker with macadamia crumble. I never had lilikoi butter but it was such a good addition. The fruit was very fresh and the açaí was so refreshing. I asked the staff what their favorite bowl was and I'm so glad they picked this one.
Cute little place off the road. Good menu and food was fresh and came out fast. Açaí bowl fresh and yum. Sub sandwich was huge! Definitely sharable. Love their bread they use. Super fresh and soft. Service was good and everyone seems to be enjoying the vibe.
I write this to you from my local New York City coffee shop, the Samurai Champloo soundtrack spinning in my wired apple headphones, a zyn tucked high and tight, and a black coffee blessing my lips. What more could a guy ask for? I'm fresh back in this manic city off of a trip to Maui. What a special place. Polar opposite vibe of New York, but I love both. I NEED both. Island Vibes Cafe became our local cafe/coffee shop to get the day started, as it was a short walk from the Airbnb. These places are special. They become home and give you a little slice of routine while on vacation. I was essentially living off of the Chocolate Peanut Butter Sunrise smoothie ($11) and the Peanut Butter Banana Bagel ($11.50). It was straight fuel for me, no better way to get the day started. I had no cell service in here, and it brought me back to a simpler time when we all weren't so plugged into the outside world. We would all just enjoy each other's company. On mornings when I came alone, I would find myself just sitting with my thoughts. I've been extremely burnt out recently, but found this time alone I was coming up with some great ideas and my battery was actually being recharged. This time forced me to realize how important being "bored" is. It forces you to be creative and think about things that you put off when you are getting blasted with content, videos, and stimuli 24/7. Being bored is a completely lost art in today's world, and I'm grateful to Island Vibes for putting me in a straight jacket and making me bored. I need to be bored more often. Thank God I didn't realize they had wifi until my last day in here lol. On this last day as I walked up to order, the sweet cashier with the cool necklace said "the usual?" What an honor. Island Vibes Cafe is a local coffee and breakfast shop in the Kapalua area of Maui. They are right by the water and located in a small plaza and an even smaller parking lot. They have a variety of offerings: coffee, smoothies, açaí bowls, breakfast burritos, and sandwiches. They also have juices that are freshly pressed. We ordered the island vibes açaí bowl ($15) which was decent and slightly sweet due to the lilikoi butter. We ordered the Cali style burrito ($15) with bacon; we wished the portion size was bigger but we liked the bacon and the salsa was very good. We also got the iced latte ($6.75) that was standard. The interior was spacious and there were a good amount of tables. There was even extra space for people to park their surfboards while they grabbed a coffee or a bite to eat.
Awesome little cafe right in Nāpili right behind Napili bay. Literally 100 feet from the public entrance to the beach. I loved this cute shop!. They sell sandwiches, açaí bowls, coffee, snacks and the best guava cheesecake ever!!!! Also during my stay my goal was to find the best açaí bowl and they won hands down best one!!! The breakfast burrito is delicious and the coffee was perfect! Wish I could come here everyday on my way to the beach! Also they sell a bunch of cute stuff from household beachy decor to really cute locally made jewelry. Oh and the music is fun and livel Pro tip: grab some coffee and head over to the beach or grab lunch or an açaí bowl and head back to the beach baby!
Great Brazilian cheese bread and coffee. Delicious freshly baked! Friendly staff and spacious dining tables. Ambiance is relaxing and clean. Walkable distance from montage hotel or plenty of parking in front of the store.
Stopped in for some food and drinks for the beach and we were not disappointed! The prices are a little steep but you could tell everything was freshly made. The wait was also a while since they just have one person taking orders but it moved pretty quick! I really enjoyed my matcha and the açaí bowl was delicious as well. We walked so unsure of how parking would be but there was lots of seating inside and I liked the local vendors being showcased as well!
What an INCREDIBLE find! We are staying walking distance from this cute cafe and are so pleased we found it! It's super clean, with a chic local vibe. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Their menu is simple yet has great variety for all. My two daughters quickly found items they wanted, as did I which is surprising because I am gluten free. We got two acai bowls and a breakfast wrap. All three were delicious! We will definitely be returning for more this trip.
Relaxed cafe with breakfast burritos and acai bowls. Came here for breakfast with my boyfriend and ordered an egg and cheddar bagel, island vibes acai bowl, and Paia style burrito. The burrito was filling and vegetarian friendly. I really liked the macadamia nut crumble and the passionfruit drizzle on the acai bowl, as it's not a common thing to see in the acai bowls I order in LA. It wasn't too sweet too, which was good. There was a small parking lot in the front. Plenty of seating was available.
This was another yelp find during our trip to Maui and we loved it so much we are planning on going back before we leave the island. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere is great, too. I will be dreaming out my açaí bowl for a long, long time.
All around amazing! Went yesterday and ate in and again today for take out. Delicious coffee (I ordered mac-nut latte w/oat milk) and loving their loaded veggie everything bagel. My son had shaved ice both days (I brought my own cooler and got shaved ice to go today since we were only a few minute walk ;)) They have a really cute island vibes shop. We got a few really cute souvenirs and gift. Aloha and Mahalo!!
This place does everything great. Do your taste buds, senses (vibe) and tummy a favor, order anything and it is delicious, healthy and flavorful. Special shoutout to the shaved ice, after trying it at a 5 star hotel restaurant, which was just little blocks of ice with some artificial syrup. This is legit, how it should be.

Nice food and caffeine option slightly away from the beach. There's a large parking lot and it's very spacious inside. They could fill it more! Food-wise, they offer acai bowls, shaved ice, sandwiches, smoothies, and breakfast burritos. We enjoyed sharing a breakfast burrito and an acai bowl (which you could make 50% dole whip--so fun!) Very fresh fruit. Service wasn't anything special, looked like it was all young women. read more

A great option right off the beach in an area with limited food options. Coffee, shaved ice, paninis, breakfast burritos, acai bowls, smoothies and custom sandwiches. Spacious inside with plenty of seating. Pricey, but to be expected. Definitely the best option of the nearby Napili places. Service a little show if it's busy. I enjoyed the turkey pesto panini and my custom turkey sandwich for the plane ride home was large and fresh. I did order some croissants for the kids, and they toasted them, which I wish they did ask beforehand as I would have said no. Overall, a great option nearby. Is it the best you'll ever eat? That's bold, but it was perfect for the location. read more

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! We were at the beach all day and wanted to stop & relax with a smoothie and other stuff. Great little spot. The lady who helped was amazing. My son has a nut allergy, and she did everything to make sure there was no cross contamination. We ordered a couple of açaí bowls, and they were amazing. We also ordered a couple of smoothies and they were great. My son actually compared the açaí bowl to ones he had in California, and he said there is no comparison. Whatever they're doing at Island Vibes Cafe, keep it up! read more
I found this shaved ice spot when we were hanging in Kapalua. I was eager to try another spot and they did not disappoint! The shaved ice was HUGE but also the perfect texture of fluffy ice. I love their flavor options and had to go for watermelon and coconut. The addition of sweetened condensed milk on top was perfect. Even my husband wanted to eat some of mine after he said he didn't want shaved ice ;) Highly recommend this spot! They don't have parking but there are street spots available nearby. The space inside is huge and has several areas to sit and hangout. Many customers were enjoying their coffee options. read more

Island Vibes Cafe was such a treat! From the customer service, food, and atmosphere, we really enjoyed our visit! This is what we ordered and how we rate it: Original Brazilian Açaí 5/5: This açaí bowl consisted of an açaí blend topped with granola, Maui bananas, strawberries, and honey. The base was tasty, though it could have used a bit more sweetness. The real star of the show however, were the strawberries that topped the bowl off. Fresh, sweet, and incredibly juicy! The strawberries truly were some of the best strawberries we've ever had! Words alone can't capture just how incredible they were. Whether it was simply an exceptional day or their usual standard, Island Vibe Cafe truly set a new benchmark. The best recommendation I can give is to experience them for yourself and hopefully you are just as lucky as we were to have experienced the strawberries that tie the whole açaí bowl together! read more

The açaí bowls here are delicious! Just a 45 second walk from hale Napili. We got the chia love açaí bowl and the island vibes açaí bowls. They were refreshing and delicious. The vibes inside were chill - they also had some clothes and houseware for sale, too. And they also had a SUP board rental inside as well. We were served with a smile and much aloha. What a beautiful location Hours 7-4pm * solid acai bowls * breakfast burrito * friendly staff * iced lattes * beautiful indoor decor Our family really enjoyed coming here in the morning. It was on our must visit list but waited til later on our trip for it and now we regret not coming here sooner We ordered - chia acai bowl - island vibes acai bowl - drip coffee (self serve and free refills) - 2 Cali breakfast burrito (we needed to order another one) - egg bacon cheese croissant - iced latte w macadamia nut It was all so good. We cleared everything up. The breakfast burrito was so good that needed to order another one cause my 6 year old wanted to eat it all. One of our favorite places we visited. read more

BIG ACAI. I've lived in Brazil and there's nothing that compares to Brazilian açaí but this was real good!! A big portion, big enough to share. We got to the Napoli I beach early (7) and got parking and a good spot and my husband walked up to grab breakfast. Açaí and a breakfast burrito. His burrito he said was good, nothing amazing but nice and close and convenient to snag the perfect spot on the beach in one of the little enclaves on the south side. read more

This cafe lives up to its name! Food: 3/5 Drinks: 5/5 Tucked away in the Napili neighborhood, Island Vibes Cafe serves as the perfect brunch spot for aesthetics. Not only do they serve food & beverages, but they also offer an abundant amount of merchandise - from swimsuits to soft t-shirts and art to surfboards (I think they were on sale? lol) Let's talk coffee. When I tell you that I have never tasted a latte so creamy and sweet before, I'm telling you that I will never find a LA cafe that will match the vanilla latte I just had. I described what I was looking for to the cashier and she nailed it, probably even better than I imagined. And for the first time ever, I didn't burn my tongue lol! Food wise, I would say it was okay. I ordered the Cali burrito, which I felt lacked flavor and the egg portion was a bit too much. More hash browns and more bacon would've been nice. The salsa it comes with was really good though! My husband ordered the bacon, cheese, and egg croissant. He said that it was typical, but also lacked flavor. Lastly, the mango smoothie was SO GOOD. Not too sweet, perfect consistency, and was topped off with fresh fruit that added an extra treat and tropical presentation. I will definitely come back! read more

Açaí bowls were generous and not icy! Definitely not as flavorful as expected but came with a lot of fresh fruit, granola, and honey as well. You can customize the toppings. Good parking and also tons of bench like indoor seating. read more

This cafe has such a beautiful energy, and the music creates a really lovely vibe They also sell jewelry, hats, and cute decor items inside. The latte was smooth and delicious, and I absolutely loved the panini, so cheesy and flavorful. The person at the counter was sweet and very friendly. I definitely recommend this place! read more

Breakfast at Island Vibes Cafe provided a welcomed break from our many heavier meals. Spacious eatery, plenty of bench seating. Aside from their own merch, retail goods such as t-shirts & purses (made in Indonesia!) were on display for purchase. The toppings in my build-your-own açaí bowl ($11) -- strawberries, banana, shredded coconut (+$1 each), & likikoi butter (+$2) as the crown jewel -- were generously piled on. While the açaí was not as flavorful as I'm used to, it also was not as sweet, giving it a breakfast quality rather than a dessert feel which I appreciated so early in the morning. I shared a Cali Style Breakfast Burrito ($14) & half was more than sufficient. Jam-packed with eggs, potato, crispy bacon, cheese, cilantro, & avocado (+$2), the ingredients were perfect in proportion & flavor. Start your day at Island Vibes Cafe for a meal that'll power you through your morning at the beach just steps away but won't make you feel weighed down. read more

The pao de queijo really was the best thing here!! Hot fresh and chewy just like in Brazil. Also got the island acai bowl and egg cheddar bagel. Inside was spacious and clean and there's a small parking lot. The staff were friendly and service was good. read more
