Great café with a variety of breakfast and lunch options. The coffee selection is excellent--the macadamia nut latte was amazing. We also loved the pastries, especially the cinnamon roll and cheese danish. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, made with fresh ham, cheese, and pineapple chutney, and they're big enough to easily share. I love this spot! They have so many terrific healthy options in addition to Lappert's ice cream. I came here three times during my stay and tried their egg white breakfast burrito which was fantastic paired with the salsa. The two other times were to get ice cream of course.... The chocolate chip cookie dough is undefeated and was the best cookie dough ice cream I have tried. They also offered the Kauai Pie flavor and other popular ones as well. Located in the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton, you'll pretty much find everything you'll need here for a quick breakfast or lunch. The pre-packaged salads are good, but just be ready to pay a very high premium for the convenience. I had been hearing that they were known for their Salty Brown Butter Doughnut, so I had to try it. Personally, I found it a bit dry, and that it lacked any real saltiness. The selling point of the doughnut was supposed to be the play between sweet and salty. I love sweet and salty kettle corn, so I figured I'd love this. Not. I regret spending $6.00 for a doughnut​ that I didn't love, let alone even really like much. I'd definitely endorse the banana bread here though!! They're the same slices of banana bread served at the Ulana Terrace and it's one of the best banana bread I've ever had! So incredibly moist and the fragrant taste of banana is so prevalent​. I'd actually suggest going for the full buffet breakfast instead, but if you're not able to, do yourself a huge favor and make a stop here to at least get a slice of this Hawaiian goodness! read more

The cutest little cafe located in the Ritz-Carlton. We came down here for breakfast and were not disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly which gives a warm vibe. You can sit out on the patio, enjoy breakfast indoors or take it up to your room. They do have a very small menu but it has the necessities. The coffee is amazing! I had a latte with the local coffee beans. The food was delicious I ordered the Egger Sandwich which had Sriracha Mayo, eggs, bacon & cheese. I stopped by for an iced tea. Rather than premade or specifically created iced tea, they brew the hot tea of choice and then pour over ice. I selected English Breakfast as I was seeking a black iced tea. It is not the perfect flavor, though worked for what I needed. The service is very friendly and attentive. I noticed a decent selection of sandwich offerings on their chalkboard, including a couple of options for breakfast. It is nice to know there is another choice beyond the breakfast buffet at the only other breakfast restaurant on property. The location is convenient as it is part of the lobby area. read more

Great little coffee shop located in the Ritz-Carlton. They have great coffee, great pastry options, good acai bowls, and great service. They also sell cooler drinks, and gifts. I stopped in twice, once for an acai bowl to take down to the pool and the other for a cup of their pea berry coffee prepared with a pour over method. The acai bowl was good, not the best on the isalnd but it got the job done, and it was big enough for two! The pea berry coffee was exciting for me as i am always on the hunt for an excellently prepared cup of high end coffee. The barista and cashier were both very informative about just exactly what the pea berry was and how a half pound bag is 70$!! It as a good cup of coffee, but i have to be honest, not the nest cup I ever had. Nothing to do with the folks at Kai, probably just a personal preference . read more

First of all, the staff here is SOOOOOO friendly! I visited here twice during my stay at the Ritz and both times they knew my name and were so nice and professional! They asked me how my day was going when I arrived, wished me a wonderful day when I left. On my 2nd visit, I ordered the Burn N' Roll Turkey BLT and let me tell you, in all honesty, it was the BEST sandwich I've had on the entire island!! I shared it with my husband and wished I had been stingy and kept the whole thing to myself! It was still warm, even when I got up to my room to eat. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who served me because she was so nice! So, if you want a little bit of a change from the pool menu or are in a hurry, be sure to check this cute little cafe out. It was spotlessly clean, too! read more

This place is nice to have right on the resort, especially when you don't want a huge breakfast but just a small bite to eat before going to activities for the day. We have eaten here for breakfast the majority of our time at the Ritz Carlton. It also has a lot of different coffees and grab and go items for the day. The only thing I would say is that the menu items can't be customized as they are pre-made the morning of... that's was a small bummer but I was able to find an alternative breakfast item. read more

Their açaí bowl is ok. It does the job if you're craving one and not wanting to drive into town. My only complaint is that the açaí blend is a bit tart and tastes cheaper than other bowls I've had in the area. You'll also pay a premium for it ($16) versus the average $9-$10 other places. read more
