Came @ 8 am for breakfast on a Thursday and surprised it was not as crowded as I remembered. That was also a few years ago. Casual dining, order/pay first and find your own seating. Ordered the loco moco. Good flavoring, but the beef patty was a bit tough & dry. Had it not been for the gravy saving it.... The So Ono macadamia nut coconut cream ice coffee is a nice sweet drink, if that's what you like. But if you like a coffee drink that actually tastes like coffee and want something stronger, skip this drink and just order plain coffee. Also ordered the meat lover breakfast. It's decent. Something you would find at any other breakfast joint. Service was quick and staff are friendly.

Corned beef breakfast with poached egg and potatoes! Cooked and tasted just great

Food quick and delicious! Wait time was very minimal and highly recommended for a breakfast! Was an excellent choice as the pictures show the food! A little noisy because place is packed but enjoyable with background music from 60s and 70s.. mahalo

So this confused me just a bit. Kihei Caffe in Lahaina... I could have been eating here everyday but never tried. Now that I have I'm soo mad I'm no longer in Lahaina. I got the chicken fried steak. My how this was comfort food at its finest. The sausage gravy was perfect, the biscuit was perfect and the main event was perfect. If you decide to go here. Get that.

Gem of a restaurant. It's order your food at the counter first before you go get a table. Highlight for me is the mochi pancakes and I added macadamia nuts. The pancake consistency is a little more sticky and chewy than regular pancake batter. I'm a fan. Will be hard to beat getting pancakes anywhere else. Easy parking and clean restaurant.

This was one of our favorite meals during our last Maui trip! We ordered Banana Mac Nut Pancakes, Traditional Loco Moco, and Corned Beef Hash. We also got the POG juice and brewed coffee. Everything we had was delicious. The line was definitely long by the time we got there around 10 AM. We lined up for about 40 minutes to get to the counter, then we ordered and picked our tables. After we ordered and sat down, it probably took 5-10 mins to actually get our food, which we thought was impressive. Really loved this place and will come back on our next trip.

Favorite cafe for breakfast and I'm not even a breakfast person. But the food here is always fresh and service is quick! I went everyday for breakfast on my trip last week. The people are so nice. It gets busy but never seems to be a long wait. Order at the counter and then find an open table. Can be a bit noisy but it's to be expected when it's always a packed house. Try the cinnamon roll. It's yummy!!

My first breakfast meal while visiting Maui. We waited for about 30 minutes to order at the front, but we were served shortly after finding a seat. The decor and vibe of the restaurant was really fun and brightened the rainy morning. The loco moco was saucy and delicious, we had it with pork. The pancakes were a generous portion, with tasty coconut syrup. We had the ube latte which had a strong ube flavor and was not too sweet!

This is the best place to go for local Hawaiian fare. The ube pancakes are to die for as was the spam fried rice. We went to the original one in Kihei on our first trip to Maui and that one was great too. Loved the little chicks walking around all over.

Parking lot is shared with other chain stores. Order at the counter and then find your table. Outdoor seating available. Staff are so amazing, all make you feel like ohana. Lots of options, I ordered the mochi pancakes...because where else do you see that on a menu?!? I added bananas and macadamia nuts, used the coconut syrup. ONOLICIOUS!! Not too chewy but very flavorful. Bananas were fresh and so tasty, i like that the added items were not mixed in the batter but on top. Servings sizes are generous as are the toppings. $22 for the mochi pancakes, totally worth it! I was not able to finish it, got through half the stack, worth sharing. Wish I could indulge daily on this while visiting but then I would not fit in my clothes. Worth checking out when you are in Lahina. Mahalo

This place was so amazing! My boyfriend and I got super hungry and was riding around to find something to eat and stumbled across this place and I will definitely recommended to anybody! When we entered into the restaurant, they're very welcoming and patient the food was very good and you can tell that it was homemade the biscuits were my favorite. The biscuits were so soft and homemade and everything very well seasoned. My boyfriend had the fried rice pork chop and he said it was very good. It was also very good too. I enjoyed his just as much as he did. It was super perfection and also cooked very well. I also have the mango lemonade which is not pictured it was very good not too sweet. You're not too bland. Perfect. The ambience in the police were amazing and I definitely would love to come back when I come back to Hawaii! overall 10/10

If you're in Maui and craving a solid, hearty breakfast -- Kihei Caffe is a must. It has that laid-back local vibe and is almost always busy. They've got a great menu! Just a heads up -- you order up front at the counter first, then find your own seat, and they bring the food out to your table. Even when it's packed, the line moves quickly and the food comes out fast. We kept it classic and went with the corned beef hash and eggs (my fave) and the chicken fried steak. Both hit the spot. The hash was crispy and flavorful, eggs cooked just right, and the portions were generous. The chicken fried steak was hearty, perfectly breaded, and smothered in rich gravy -- comfort food done right. Portions are big, prices are reasonable for Maui, and it's the perfect fuel before we hit up a long whale watching tour. No frills -- just consistently good food and that authentic Maui breakfast feel. Definitely will be one of our go-to spots when we're on the island.

Food is delicious prices are great for the area and staff is pleasant only complaint I have is no Mac salad

    Overcooked fish was chewy

Our meals were hit and miss here. Pancakes with banana 5/5 Loco Moco with kalua 5/5 Fish sandwich 4/5 Pork chops 1/5 super dry and tough Fish and chips 1/5 super overcooked and chewy (we actually didn't eat it) Good atmosphere but I would definitely steer clear of the pork chops and fish and chips.

Perhaps it's because we decided to show up 8 mins before closing, but the food and service were unforgettable in a concerning way. I had asked for my burger with no tomato (twice) and I still managed to receive the *wrong* burger and WITH tomato. We told the cashier our name twice and he still wrote it incorrectly completely. Also worth noting, halfway into my incorrect burger, I noticed a majority of it was pink. I got grossed out and stopped eating it immediately. The burger was not that warm to begin with. The umami fries were good but pretty messy, given the fact we had no napkins for a Togo order. Two burgers and umami fries came out to $50. Absolutely not worth it and not quality ingredients or service. At all. Additionally, the staff member handed our order to somebody else before handing it over to us. The bathroom lock was not operating correctly so you need a buddy system. The bathroom appeared clean, but reeked of urine. I do not recommend this establishment and definitely will not be returning.

A5 Wagyu Smash Burgers? Sign me up everyday of the week!…read more We were staying in the West Side of the island, and saw this place pop up on Yelp and knew I had to give it a try. I went all in and went with the 3x3 which in hindsight was way more than I needed. The meat is rich which means a single or 2x2 is all you need. The crisp on the smash was perfection and the bun was pillowy soft. The sauce complimented everything well. My only regret was not asking if they had Serrano peppers before I ordered bc that would've added a whole other level to an already amazing burger. $30 well spent. If you just look at the menu, you might have sticker shock, but they are using A5 meat for the burgers which is why its higher priced. Compare it to most food in the area, everything is overpriced bc it's touristy, at least at Swagyu you get a quality tasting meal. Worth every dime in my opinion. They have locations in San Diego as well, and all I could think of is how much money I'd spend if they had a spot up in the Bay. Smash burgers done right is so hard to find, if they had one in the Bay I'd be a regular here for sure.
