This was one of our favorite meals during our last Maui trip! We ordered Banana Mac Nut Pancakes, Traditional Loco Moco, and Corned Beef Hash. We also got the POG juice and brewed coffee. Everything we had was delicious. The line was definitely long by the time we got there around 10 AM. We lined up for about 40 minutes to get to the counter, then we ordered and picked our tables. After we ordered and sat down, it probably took 5-10 mins to actually get our food, which we thought was impressive. Really loved this place and will come back on our next trip.

This place was so amazing! My boyfriend and I got super hungry and was riding around to find something to eat and stumbled across this place and I will definitely recommended to anybody! When we entered into the restaurant, they're very welcoming and patient the food was very good and you can tell that it was homemade the biscuits were my favorite. The biscuits were so soft and homemade and everything very well seasoned. My boyfriend had the fried rice pork chop and he said it was very good. It was also very good too. I enjoyed his just as much as he did. It was super perfection and also cooked very well. I also have the mango lemonade which is not pictured it was very good not too sweet. You're not too bland. Perfect. The ambience in the police were amazing and I definitely would love to come back when I come back to Hawaii! overall 10/10

My first breakfast meal while visiting Maui. We waited for about 30 minutes to order at the front, but we were served shortly after finding a seat. The decor and vibe of the restaurant was really fun and brightened the rainy morning. The loco moco was saucy and delicious, we had it with pork. The pancakes were a generous portion, with tasty coconut syrup. We had the ube latte which had a strong ube flavor and was not too sweet!

This is the best place to go for local Hawaiian fare. The ube pancakes are to die for as was the spam fried rice. We went to the original one in Kihei on our first trip to Maui and that one was great too. Loved the little chicks walking around all over.

Parking lot is shared with other chain stores. Order at the counter and then find your table. Outdoor seating available. Staff are so amazing, all make you feel like ohana. Lots of options, I ordered the mochi pancakes...because where else do you see that on a menu?!? I added bananas and macadamia nuts, used the coconut syrup. ONOLICIOUS!! Not too chewy but very flavorful. Bananas were fresh and so tasty, i like that the added items were not mixed in the batter but on top. Servings sizes are generous as are the toppings. $22 for the mochi pancakes, totally worth it! I was not able to finish it, got through half the stack, worth sharing. Wish I could indulge daily on this while visiting but then I would not fit in my clothes. Worth checking out when you are in Lahina. Mahalo

Scramble with spinach, onions, bacon and tomato. Also comes with a side of potatoes.

The restaurant has an easy going cool vibe. The staff is somewhat friendly but I wouldn't say exceptional. The benedict was very good. The scramble was delicious with cheese on top. Also the pancake was huge. Light fluffy with some crispy edges. The pricing overall was a bit on the higher side for a caffe, but was good. Would definitely return just maybe not as often due to price. Enjoy!

If you're in Maui and craving a solid, hearty breakfast -- Kihei Caffe is a must. It has that laid-back local vibe and is almost always busy. They've got a great menu! Just a heads up -- you order up front at the counter first, then find your own seat, and they bring the food out to your table. Even when it's packed, the line moves quickly and the food comes out fast. We kept it classic and went with the corned beef hash and eggs (my fave) and the chicken fried steak. Both hit the spot. The hash was crispy and flavorful, eggs cooked just right, and the portions were generous. The chicken fried steak was hearty, perfectly breaded, and smothered in rich gravy -- comfort food done right. Portions are big, prices are reasonable for Maui, and it's the perfect fuel before we hit up a long whale watching tour. No frills -- just consistently good food and that authentic Maui breakfast feel. Definitely will be one of our go-to spots when we're on the island.

    Loco Moco with Kalua Pork

We stopped by Kihei Caffe around 9AM and there was a long line, (definitely peak breakfast time), but it moved efficiently. Once we ordered, the food came out in about 5-10 minutes, and we wrapped up the whole meal within 45 minutes. Super efficient for how busy they were. We tried the Loco Moco with kalua pork. The kalua pork was lightly salted but was missing that deeper smoky flavor I usually prefer. Still comforting overall, just not as bold as expected. We also ordered two fresh corned beef hash plates with sunny side up eggs, supreme style. The corned beef hash was crispy and smoky with great texture, and paired perfectly with the runny yolks. Overall, a bustling breakfast spot that moves fast and delivers solid portions. Expect a line, but they keep things flowing.

Everything was delicious! Got there around 815 and there was a line out the door but it moved quickly. Creamy ube drink was ehh but their orange juice was fantastic!

My bf and I came here twice during our visit to Maui! The workers were very nice here. You order up at the front and then seat yourself, the food will be dropped off to you when it's ready. There is lots of seats inside, it is nicely decorated and clean, there is also seating outside. First visit I got banana mac pancakes and a creamy ube coffee. My bf got a loco moco, both dishes were fire. The second visit we got Kalua pork eggs Benedict, which I was hesitant about, but I'm so glad I got it. The pork was so tender and melted on my tongue every bite, it was cooked perfectly. Next I got the same toppings as the pancakes the first time we went but this time with waffles, and that was life changing, for me LOL. It was so good, I may be bias bc I just love waffles but it was so good, trust lol. My bf got the hashed corned beef and that was tasty as well. For the drinks we got the creamy ube and that was sooo good, and the so ono. Both are local favs but I loved the creamy ube.

A must for anyone staying in Lahaina. Their food really is so homely and comforting. Still super good! The only real gripe I have is that I ordered some fried chicken and it was a real tiny piece, though still ultra crispy. It's not outright pricy but the cost can add up quickly. I do wish there was a clear way on getting refills or a coffee station where you can pour your coffee yourself. But still their food is phenomenal and their people are nice and fast paced. It's got a nice beach, Hawaiian vibe inside that's cool and young and family friendly. I wouldn't mind eating here again and again.

Great service. Food came out very fast. Variety of menu so everyone should be able to find something they want. Corned beef hash was good but the most flavorful thing we tried was the battered fish in the fis and chips. Very cute whale pancake on the Keiki menu. Prices are very reasonable for the area.

THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD!! If you're ever in Maui, you have to check this place out. So many great dishes and drinks to choose from! Portions are big too. I loved their loco moco and banana macadamia nut pancakes! My husband loved their chicken fried steak. He said it was the best he ever had!

Then there were the devastating Lahaina fires in 2023, so we thought they were lost to us forever. We were happy to hear they opened a food truck and decided to visit when we were in Maui last month (March 2026). They're back, baby, with the delicious food we remembered pre-covid. The truck is located on Keawe Street, next to the plaza with Ross & Foodland and the glass blowing shop. There's limited seating and the line got long quickly, just like when they had the storefront restaurant. Definitely worth the wait, though. We ordered the 808 Grindz bene, corned beef hash & eggs and a short stack of mac nut pancakes (with sauce oh yes please) to share. The crispy hash browns were a little too salty, but everything else was on point. I believe they take cash or venmo only and be prepared to wait. But it'll be worth it.
