I'm not sure why this place has just a measly 3 stars..."different strokes for different folks" I guess. BUT THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Trust me, I've been coming back here for the last 13 years. We first heard of it when we got a Costco package for Hyatt over a decade ago. It included breakfast and that breakfast was at Swan court. Since then, we've come back to it despite using different hotels throughout Kaanapali. The fresh fruit is always superb and their offerings for savory breakfast items have always included quality and tasty standard fare along with Hawaiian/Asian fusions. I was looking forward to their kimchi fried rice, but as of 9/'25, that was not an offering. Nevertheless, I got an easy replacement in their Congee (Asian savory porridge - yum!). Also, do yourself a favor and try their chia pudding. It's a slightly sweet, custardy and coconuty treat. Also get additional omegas from their flavorful smoked salmon! The kids ate well stating their scrambled eggs and bacon were very good. And the price was right for kids over 5 at just under half the price for that of an adult breakfast (adult = $40). Kids 5 and under = free. Better value than a Vegas breakfast buffet and just as top notch! Good, strong coffee and POG and orange juices. An incredibly satisfying meal in a peaceful setting. We might come back for a second time this time around. It's that great!

This breakfast was just okay, a very typical hotel breakfast option. Staff was very very friendly and knowledgeable about allergies. Cute little view of the swan pond. My friend got the eggs benedict and found it mediocre, my kalua pork hash was somewhat mushy and lacked flavor, and my husband got scrambled eggs and bacon which was nothing special but just fine. The coffee was okay, but the juices were not fresh. Realistically we will likely end up here for breakfast again if we stay at this Hyatt again, simply out of convenience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. Portions on the a la carte menu were generous, which made the price point more tolerable.

We were staying at the Hyatt and came down to Swan Court one morning for breakfast. Pretty view overlooking the garden area with some water falls, and watching the swans swim in the pond. It didnt look like there was a bad seat in the house! I peeped the menu ahead of time, and I already knew I wanted to get the Hawaiian French toast. It was everything I wanted it to be lol Coconut bread with liliko'i butter and a coconut syrup on top! Someone I was with got the Ube pancakes, and wowww were those good too... nothing like I've ever tried before! Service was a bit slower but we were not in a big hurry so it was alright. Our waiter was very kind though!

Beautiful view of the swan court.

My husband and I enjoyed having breakfast here every morning. We especially loved that we could watch the ducks and swan swim in the water. We loved that there was a variety of food every morning, in addition to the daily fruits and pastries. The staff were always friendly and welcoming.

I think this place used to be really good and has gone downhill over the year. It fills up, so be prepared to wait if you come during peak hours or with a large group. I ordered the Ube pancakes which were good, but super sweet. I think it'll be awhile before we go back, though the view of the pond and ocean beyond is wonderful.

Breakfast is good here especially when it's included in your package deal. The buffet was included with our stay so we ate free each morning however if you don't have it included for 2 it will cost you a whopping $66 a day! Soooo not worth it. Honestly that's a little steep especially if your here for a week! You do the math! Food is okay but the stars are for the staff! Super friendly and just really great people. Also for the view and scenery! Just beautiful. As I looked around at other tables ordering food not from the buffet the food looked delicious. I didn't try it out we decided to stick to our free breakfast but maybe next time. If your staying here give it a try at least one of the days.. the food may not keep you coming back but the scenery and staff will!

Our booking package included breakfast at Swan Court located downstairs at the Hyatt Regency. The buffet included something for everyone. Fresh fruit, danishes, oatmeal, breakfasts meats, potatoes and omelets. A different selection everyday. The ambience is amazing as you look out over the lake where the swans are swimming. Very relaxed atmosphere. For the most part we had Flo as our server and I would request her again. She went above and beyond everyday. This is a great option if you want to stay on site for breakfast. Even if you don't have the buffet package you can order it or ala carte breakfasts off the menu. Highly recommend

New netting

We came here recently after my nostalgic experience from 2004. Everything pretty much looked the same, but I loved the ambiance with the swans. However, at some point, it went from an open-air experience to not-so-open-air as there was netting covering the open area between the restaurant and pond. Birds somehow still get in, so I'm not sure what benefit it was for, and there only seemed to be one swan and a duck, so it wasn't quite the same, but it was still a beautiful view. The food was OK, not as great as I remember. It ended up being $60+ for the buffet for the two of us and to be honest, you can get better stuff at some of the local places, so this was more about the ambience, but I'm not sure I'd come back anytime soon. Because of Covid, the food is understandably no longer self-serve, but it was decent.

Food is very low quality, seriously low! Totally not worth the money. Service was good, but that's about it.

Breakfast buffet food was just not good. The best thing's available were the muffins and that tells you something.

This new location although not a sit down restaurant anymore is a food truck. But the food hasn't changed one bit. It's all still amazing. We visit the island often and always have to have 808 at least twice during our trip. We order over the phone and pick up at the truck and you can eat it at the tables there or take it to go. YOU HAVE TO GET THE MAC BUT PANCAKES WITH THE MAC NUT SAUCE! That's an absolute must. I've never had better pancakes in my life! I also always get their loco mocos and they're so delicious. The staff always treats you like family and I'm so glad they opened up again because we were so sad how the fires too away so many mom and pop businesses. Easy parking lot

The customer service with great, very friendly. 10/10 customer service and the food! The setting where the food trucks were pretty decent. They have a swing that's pretty cute if you're waiting for pick up. We will definitely come back to when we're back in Maui!

Ok so we are staying here and we ate dinner and breakfast at this place…read more Our dinner was not bad. They do jot give you much. I will have to say the calamari was excellent. Now to why there is a 1 star. Breakfast! DO NOT GO HERE FOR BREAKFAST!! We did the buffet because breakfast service was available. It was $47 a person for a mediocre buffet. The sausage links were very well done. By well done I mean cooked to jerky almost. The cook did a good job and was nice. He crisped my mushy potatoes for me which was nice. We decided we would go and make a waffle and share it with no way to butter it before syrup so we had to find a syrup bowl. Here is the teal bad part.... When we came back someone was sitting at our table. Not even joking. We were just standing in the middle holding our waffles when we finally saw the waiter who said oh I thought you left. We had not even been here for 10-15 minutes total and he just gave me coffee before I left! We had to wait for them to clean another table, then wait for silverware and napkins, then ask for drinks again. A poorly run Embassy Suites beats this buffet hands down. So if you eat here and go for seconds, that should be normal for a buffet, leave one person at the table! Never doing breakfast here again.

The staff hurriedly took the menu away, stating "it's not like you would have bought that anyway. It's too expensive." Overall the staff seemed disgruntled. Food was actually good but the service left a very sour taste in our mouth. Server also probably checked in on us maybe once the entire meal.

The dragonfruit chia bowl was pretty good, just the ratio of the actual dragonfruit (puree) and chia pudding was about a spoonful of each in comparison to the actual fresh fruit. It was really off. The grand slap was basic with overcooked scrambled eggs, plain potatoes that tasted frozen from a bag, and dry toast. It didn't come with butter or jelly so we asked for some. The pancake was okay. We did ask if there was another kind of syrup available other than the maple syrup that was there at the table. Our server offered us coconut syrup which was brought out ice cold. On top of that there was a $3 charge for it which the server didn't mention and I didn't see it listed on the menu. The mushroom scramble was also dry and plain. I had high hopes for this place, seeing that the restaurant itself looks bright and inviting, but unfortunately the food overall was less than mediocre.
