Cute little spot tucked away but I felt like the latte I ordered was mid. I ordered the Luxe Latte, I do prefer sweet though so it could just be me. The staff was kind, and the presentation of everything was super cute.

This is an absolutely cute coffee stand. Service was greet and the coffee was delicious. (I created a collection of all the restaurants we visited on Maui from fine dining to food trucks and all in between.)

Very cute Lux latte coffee stand right next to Maui golf by the harbor. Love to support local and not big box coffee places, huge variety of coffee, hot and cold. My coffee was rich and flavorful. Many dairy choices and non-dairy choices.

Luxe Latte is my favorite coffee truck stop on the way to the other side! The coffee is always so good and made perfectly every time. Super friendly service and such a convenient stop when you're on the road. It's become a must-stop for me whenever I'm passing by!

Luxe Latte has been on my list to try it is a bit farther than other coffee places, that's why it took me awhile and I finally visited their location in Ma'alaea today. They are situated at the Maui Golf and Sports Park parking lot. Their menu features a range of coffee, frappes, and teas. Each drink is available in 12, 16, and 20 oz sizes. I ordered a Luxe Latte, which purportedly contains premium vanilla and raw Maui honey, but it consisted solely of milk and espresso with no sweetener, prompting my 4-star rating They offers a variety of fun, non-caffeinated beverages that I intend to sample during my next visit. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised to find a charming arrangement, featuring a large pergola providing shade, multiple tables, and a designated seating area for customers to enjoy their food and drinks.

coffee is so good! got myself a luxe latte which is their house coffee. perfect amount of caffeine needed to start the day! plenty of parking and no wait time. felt like a hidden gem. i didn't catch the woman's name at the register but she was kind & made my coffee with love. mahalo!

Adorable food truck!!!! Coffee, bakery items - the perfect morning stop. A hidden gem in the Maalaea area. I had the luxe latte and was super impressed. A bunch of the bakery items were out of stock so g early :)

Iced Luxe Latte - perfectly sweetened (i.e.not overwhelmingly sweet)

My husband ran the Maui 5K and I ran to the coffee truck. So glad I did! The Luxe Latte was not obnoxiously sweet and overbearing as I find most lattes. Made with Maui honey, it was the perfect blend of smooth coffee and just the right amount of sweet!

Love that there was this coffee stop right outside of the Maui Sports Golf. It's so convenient for visitors to grab a quick drink at on a hot day while the kids are enjoying their activities inside. The service was great, the girl that helped me was patient & kind. She had some good recommendations that I ended up ordering. It did not disappoint me at all. The perfect hit of espresso & it was milky nor was it too sweet. I would love to pop on by again next time I'm in this area for a quick coffee :)

The location is a little out of the way unless you stop on the way to somewhere else. We had the dulce cinnamon and the luxe coffee, both just tasted like iced coffee I would take at home. The cinnamon was too much. It wasn't the most atrocious drink but we didn't finish the dulce.

Luxe Latte's been on my list to try for a while now and finally made my way over to Ma'alaea a couple of weeks ago. They are located at the Maui Golf and Sports Park parking lot along with a line-up of other food trucks. They offer a variety of coffee, frappes, and teas. They also have smoothies and specialty drinks like s'mores hot chocolate and italian cream soda. Each drink is available in 12, 16, and 20 oz sizes. I wanted coffee and so went for the Salted Caramel Frappe. My other half got the Maui Mango smoothie since the Pina Colada was sold out. Our order was prepared quickly and we both enjoyed drinks on our way home. My frappe was pretty tasty, although I would have liked a stronger coffee flavor, it comes with a standard two shots of espresso. They do have some fun drink non-caffeinated options that I'd like to try next time like the hot chocolate (when it's not super hot, in the middle of summer), and their cotton candy, birthday cake, and cookie monster frappes. Overall though, it was pretty good and I'm glad we stopped by. Also, had no idea they had renovated the space! I was pleasantly surprised to find a cute little set-up complete with a large pergola to offer some shade, a few tables, and seating area to enjoy your food and drinks. It's come a long way and looks SO cute now. I definitely recommend a stop here if you're in the area and in need of a pick-me-up. Support a local shop vs. national chains :)

I didn't realize this was a food truck but so happily surprised with the flavors of all we ordered. Service was okay, so I rounded up because we loved our drinks. As it's a food truck, there's really nowhere to sit but for a quick stop by, it's great!

Must go! Amazing coffee, and a lot of options. We had the luxe vanilla bean cold latte, Cookie Monster frappe and chai. Customer service is amazing and the coffee was smooth and made perfectly. It's a bit hidden near the gas station. It's a food truck style shop and it's a such a cute spot. Don't think about it and just go!!!

It was an early April afternoon, and they still had a small selection of malasadas available. I snagged one chocolate filled, one vanilla filled, and two sugar dusted malasadas, $1.50 each, plus two streusel banana breads, $8.25 each and four regular banana breads, $8 each. The malasadas were for us; however, I thought the banana breads would make great souvenirs to bring back home. Back at the resort, we froze most of them, and on the morning of our departure, I carefully packed them in my luggage and carry-on bag as precious cargo going home! Customer service was excellent and friendly, as always! Get thee to Sugar Beach Bakery, next door to Ululani's!

It helps to order ahead but you will need to order the day before - they don't do same day orders. Also some things you can't order online like their musubis, etc. However you can still get their malasadas and croissants, etc. We tried all their malasadas and our favs were the coconut cream and the lilikoi (passion fruit). We also tried their mango bread which was moist and fruity (no chunks of mango in it though) and the lime pie which was lovely! However, I think the big surprise for me was that the malasadas are smaller than I expected. The first time I had a malasada was at Leonard's in Oahu which are like...the size of your hand. These are more like golf ball sized. They were still excellent but I think that just caught me off guard. But we still enjoyed them!

You can tell they put real care into what they serve, and it shows in every sip. We ordered two lattes, one with brown sugar and one with vanilla, and both were amazing. The flavors were balanced, not overly sweet, and complemented the quality of the espresso perfectly. We also shared a cheese danish that my husband absolutely loved. He said it was one of the best he has ever had, and I have to agree -- buttery, flaky, and so fresh. The shop itself has such a fun, cozy vibe. There's even a swing inside, which adds such a unique and playful touch. It's the kind of place you actually want to hang out in, not just grab a coffee and go. Service was excellent. The barista was super friendly and even made the cutest latte art, which totally made my day. I ordered a 12 oz and loved that it came in a mug, while my husband got a 16 oz to-go. My only wish is that they would offer mugs for the larger sizes too. It would be a nice way to cut down on paper and plastic and make the experience even better. Overall, Akamai Coffee is a gem. Between the amazing drinks, delicious pastries, welcoming atmosphere, and thoughtful service, it's the kind of place you'll want to visit again and again. I was already doing the math and thinking , "Eh, we might be here awhile." But nah, good timing. People were finishing up, bussing tables, and bam, maybe 20-30 minutes tops. Not bad at all. While we was waiting, they come out with waffle samples for everyone in line. I mean... who does that? That's how you keep people from getting all hangry. Instant good vibes, the whole line outside was just smiling and waiting patiently. Finally get seated and both the hostess and waitress were super nice--real friendly, no rush, no attitude. In the front they had mushroom soup on the specials board, so we figured we go sample um. I had them bring a cup of soup out to start along with my wife's coffee. Gotta be honest--when I dipped my spoon in, I was already judging. Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. For my main, I went with the original eggs Benedict. Portions were a little on the small side, but with the roasted potatoes, I was good. Didn't leave hungry, didn't need to loosen the belt--perfect middle ground. My wife got the strawberry waffles and yeah... those were legit. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. We will be heading to Cafe Kaila again to try some other stuff like the "chicken and waffles", and next time, I'm not playing around with the soup. Bowl, Garans.
