Perfectly charming coffee spot hidden in a secluded corner of the Kihei Food Oasis in South Maui Gardens. Several small as well as larger tables were nestled on their deck and between the trees and lush tropical fauna. Coffees of all kinds, including specialty drinks were on offer woth additional options for smoothies, yogurt bowls and several eclectic snd yummy sounding Toasts. I was greeted warmly at the counter and served with a genuine smile. I ordered The Islander, a cold brew with coconut cold foam. Delicious. It was a perfect visit for the warm Maui afternoon!

The cafe is located in a living nursery next to the Blue Door Cafe. I had a chance to visit both and I truly love the vibe here. Both cold brew and pastry are great!

Da Green has everything you could want from a coffee shop. - good coffee - kind staff - vegan pastries - gluten-free pastries (if that's your thing) - wifi - shaded outdoor seating - bathrooms Okay, now you get to hear about all the things you didn't know you wanted from a coffee shop until you get there and see that they have it. - tons of plants and a koi pond! - a water bowl for your dog - water for you (you help yourself to it next to the condiment bar) - raw sugar packets (for the strict vegans) - chickens!!!! - chill live music (only sometimes, but it was there when I went and was lovely) - food trucks in case you stay longer than you had planned and get hungry - large tables for big groups I literally sat here for hours, and it was one of my favorite days spent in Maui. It was seriously lovely. There are just a couple od downsides I should mention. - it's not very accessible for people in wheelchairs - the bathrooms are not gender neutral

What a sweet little coffee and breakfast spot located inside the South Maui Gardens! I stopped in for a coconut ube iced latte and hearty slice of Greek toast on a sunny morning, and enjoyed the cozy outdoor seating under a lovely palm tree. The coffee and food were both prepared fresh, and were delicious. And you can't beat the price - I was out of there with a full belly for just over $16 total (including tax/tip)! The service was super friendly, and very fast even though they were pretty busy when I was there. If I lived nearby, I could see myself going here on the daily for some caffeine and healthy eats.

Great little coffee spot. Might be the smoothest and best (in my opinion) coffee on the island. It is in the Maui Gardens food truck area. Lots of seating. Very casual and relaxing. The gals working were super friendly and enjoyed working together. There are pastries if you want a snack. Yummy flavors to add to your latte and some that are home-made (like blueberry). Lots of alternative milks. This is a go-to place for us. Definatly give them a try over the other ones in the area. You wont be sorry.

EBS toast (everything but smoothie!) and matcha americano

Wow! I really enjoyed this. Staff was really friendly and the location has a nice cool little patio with shade next to a peaceful koi pond. I got the EBS toast with honey on the side. The honey was incredible, and the toast was exactly the way I like it--soft in the middle, yum. The matcha americano was refreshing. I'd come back here.

Wow wow wow wow wow. This place is situated in south Maui gardens and is everything. The barista is so sweet and gave us great recs. She reccomended a lavender vanilla latte which was fabulous. I got that every time I came here which was a lot haha. They have a cute long mirror as well where many group pics were taken and an amazing vegan chocolate cake.

DA GREEN COFFEE BAR is a surprisingly spacious coffee shop complete with its own garden in land-scarce Maui. It is conveniently located across the street (plus one whole building over) from the beach. Also conveniently located next to a condominium building, a condo we happened to be staying at. Yes! The coffee shop is in one of the buildings in the lot. Another building is a kitchen churning out baked goods. Between these two are picnic tables and benches. There is a beautiful garden beyond. Although, you are in Maui, everything is a beautiful garden. There is a very short line to order, but that's more because of the customers trying to make their minds than the friendly workers. Very short wait for our order. The ICED LATTE was great! Strong and refreshing.

    The Turkish coffee setup

Randomly found this little gem while browsing through Yelp reviews last year and what a serendipitous discovery it was! The coffee shop is located in South Maui Gardens and honestly wasn't even sure where that was initially, but now it's blossomed into such a lovely little area to cruise. What particularly caught my eye was their Turkish coffee option. No one else on the island does this as far as I know and I'm always down to trying unique things! Now this was back in April 2022 and I'm not sure if they still do it now since I didn't see set-up when I last visited the other week, BUT at the time, the owner must've noticed me curiously studying their set up. She kindly began explaining what it is, started it up, and went through the whole demo with us and took us step by step through the process. She gave us a sampling of the coffee on the house which I really loved. The coffee itself was just ok for me as I like my coffees sweet, but my husband really enjoyed it! Above all though, the customer service was above and beyond and made the whole experience! I was tickled that I got to try something new. We also ordered some toasts which was pretty simple, but good as they are made from fresh baked bread from across the way at Blue Door Bakery. We enjoyed it out on their little patio area which has a handful of tables. I watched as monarch butterflies came and went in the butterfly garden as I sipped my coffee and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I stopped by again the other week and got myself another iced mocha and was reminded I need to visit here more often. I definitely recommend this cute little spot. It almost feels like you're not on Maui. It's a lovely place to hang out for a bit and if you need more sustenance, there are a bunch of food outlets nearby on the South Maui Garden grounds.

I was already doing the math and thinking , "Eh, we might be here awhile." But nah, good timing. People were finishing up, bussing tables, and bam, maybe 20-30 minutes tops. Not bad at all. While we was waiting, they come out with waffle samples for everyone in line. I mean... who does that? That's how you keep people from getting all hangry. Instant good vibes, the whole line outside was just smiling and waiting patiently. Finally get seated and both the hostess and waitress were super nice--real friendly, no rush, no attitude. In the front they had mushroom soup on the specials board, so we figured we go sample um. I had them bring a cup of soup out to start along with my wife's coffee. Gotta be honest--when I dipped my spoon in, I was already judging. Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. For my main, I went with the original eggs Benedict. Portions were a little on the small side, but with the roasted potatoes, I was good. Didn't leave hungry, didn't need to loosen the belt--perfect middle ground. My wife got the strawberry waffles and yeah... those were legit. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. We will be heading to Cafe Kaila again to try some other stuff like the "chicken and waffles", and next time, I'm not playing around with the soup. Bowl, Garans.

He said it was one of the best he has ever had, and I have to agree -- buttery, flaky, and so fresh. The shop itself has such a fun, cozy vibe. I really like that I can select from the old world German Artisan collection and the Hawaiian Artisan baked goods. I snagged the Isabelle, a loaf of bread made of spelt (dinkel wheat, high in protein, fiber, and antioxidants) and rolled in an assortment of seeds. Since it wasn't a big deal, I took it and went on my way. The coffee itself ended up being pretty good. The caramel flavor was on the lighter side, adding some sweetness without overpowering the coffee. The coffee itself was rich and came through nicely. I also liked that they used coffee ice cubes, which helped prevent the drink from getting watered down as the ice melted. If anything, it added a slight bitterness, which I didn't mind.
