Local place. At the corner, make sure you adhere to street signs, can't turn left as you turn off the main road. Go down further to make a left to go behind the shop, they have their own parking that is one way. You're pretty much making a long circle around to the front. I think its a mom/pop shop. Music in the AM daily, as far as I know, only one with live music in the AM, more elderly people but it was still great! Avo toast was good, hard to justify $21 bucks though... with the egg that is steamed so you can't ask for custom... overall, flavoring was still good. Bacon was on point, nice and crispy. Came here straight from the airport in need of some iced coffee. Came across this coffee shop since it was on our way to our hotel. I ordered a half sweet dark chocolate white mocha drink, I think it was called the Hapa? The service was very friendly welcoming from when I walked in. There are a few seats inside for working; I sat outside at the tables for some fresh air which was nice. The interior is very homey and cozy, with a wall of guitars on display, and handwritten boards for the menus. Would definitely come here if you want a small coffee shop feel with really good quality espresso. Will come back next time I am in Maui! read more

There's a outdoor seating, even with live music. There's limited counter seating, but an assortment of well worn, eclectic indoor seating. There's a variety of merch for purchase. I liked the overall decor. Definitely no standoffish attitude, genuine welcoming indie cafe vibe. It was evident that there are frequent regulars. A friend/neighbor hangout. The Homie savored his iced milk tea. I enjoyed what I could of my iced mocha while onsite. Unfortunately, my cup fell onto the asphalt after a sudden burst of wind knocked it off the top of the rental car. Talk about sad face. Highly recommended! read more

Went by twice during our stay in Wailuku. One of the few places that seems to have decaf options which was nice. Tried their struesel coffee cake which was yummy. We also got the spicy breakfast burrito and the avocado toast with egg. Both were delicious. Prices are on the higher end and the whole thing came to over $40. There is outdoor seating and each time I went there was a different musician playing live music which was lovely. read more

Grabbed breakfast burritos after a quick stop at the Maui Swap. We were a bit frustrated by the long wait (especially since we learned the burritos are already premade) but I don't want to complain--it was VERY busy and the staff was doing their best. I consider it a plus that they were busy and filled with many locals. The vibe here is very hipster with a dash of island. There's great outdoor seating and they had a talented band playing live music. The burritos were different than expected as they use smoked sausage (?) rather than breakfast sausage. They do have a bit of a "kick" but I wouldn't call it hot. (Then again...I'm from Texas so my hot radar is different than others. Sad to say that I can't comment on the coffee as I'd already had a cup before we left home. However, my husband who doesn't typically like espresso had an Americano and raved about the smoothness and flavor. read more

We were so lucky to find this on our first day in Maui. We loved it so much that we returned there every day we were on the island! The shop was decorated with antique furniture and gave the vibe of a true attic. The baristas were so friendly and hospitable. Their Aloha Latte was SOOOO delicious! My hubby ordered another drink but preferred mine. They have such a great selection of pastries it was hard to choose just one (so we didn't ). On our first day, we tried a pineapple and mac nut pie. It was well balanced in its tartness, crunch, and sweetness. It was my favorite treat. When we went back the next day, they didn't have anymore so we tried an ube hopia pie and that was great too. This is such a hidden gem! The vibe is super cute and relaxed, with plenty of charm. The seating is great, comfy couches inside and a nice covered patio outside that's perfect for enjoying the breeze. They even had live music when we were there, which made the experience even better. The food menu is surprisingly big for a coffee shop. We had the BBQ pulled pork with lilikoi sandwich and the chicken pesto sandwich, both were delicious! The pulled pork had this sweet-savory twist from the lilikoi that really stood out. And the chicken was cut up and mixed with the cheese and pesto so each bite had a little of everything. Stopped in after our hike at the Ioa Valley State Monument and had some refreshing coffee and wonderful pastry. There was live music and great seating. Oh dang! Was feeling a little extra and wanted to go somewhere I haven't been in awhile. Prices went up of course but I was a little shocked to realize after paying that all the pastries are $6 each. I'll be savoring my lilikoi bar and ube scone and enjoying each bite. I forgot they offer stamp cards until the cashier asked the customer after me, so be sure to get your stamps! Opted for a Lavender Honey Latte ($7 Medium) and for an extra $0.50 got it iced. A little light on the lavender and honey flavor but it was good. The winner for this trip was the Breakfast Bagel ($8). You can get it on a plain or everything bagel. It was very tasty and toasted to perfection! I went in the morning before work/school and the customers were consistent. For only having 3 workers they were jamming out orders just as fast as the customers were coming in. Stopped in for an afternoon pick me up. Not crowded, ample parking and lots of drinks and food items to choose from. I was extremely pleased that they had a Rasperry Mocha Cold Brew beverage. Starbucks did away with their raspberry syrup, so I am very happy to see this as a coffee option from Coffee Attic. My iced coffee was flavorful, bold and not too sweet. Husband and BIL said the coffee was pretty good and my BIL loved the breakfast burrito. I got the avocado toast with egg. The egg was microwaved I believe so the texture was off and I ended up taking it off. But the avocado and toast on its own was delicious and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Came here for coffee and breakfast one morning. It caught our attention because they have both breakfast and lunch items served all day and we really wanted to try their kimchi quesadillas. Plenty of street parking around the area. There are a lot of both indoor and outdoor seating. On a beautiful day, of course we opted for outdoor seating. There was also live music to sip our coffees along to. People that work there are very nice. Great banter, even early morning. We got their chicken pesto and kimchi quesadilla. The chicken pesto was good but a little dry for my taste. The kimchi quesadilla was unique to us and delicious. Our new favorite we will try to make at home when we leave the island. This is one of my favorite places to meet clients or have breakfast with my daughter. You can't miss the Hokama's sign, which was the name of the business establishment many decades ago. It has a casual atmosphere and just a few meters off of Main Street. They serve an assortment of coffee and non-coffee drinks to complement their fresh pastries, pies, and cakes. For breakfast, they do a nice job with the breakfast bagel sandwich or avocado toast. There is ample ample parking in front or behind the store. Musicians come to jam and play oldies in the late morning. It has become a place for locals to frequent on Saturday mornings.
