Very nice space - bright, open and lots of light. There is also outdoor seating also. Staff was very friendly but our waitress didn't really expand on the menu. Just took the order and didn't make any suggestions. It was okay though however now we know for next time. Pricing is a little higher than other local eateries but for the ambiance and seasonal dishes, it makes sense. Now for the food. The Loco Moco was amazing. My husband requested regular rice and the hamburger that covered the rice...covered the whole rice. Not just the top but all the way tonight the edge of the rice. Every mouthful mmmmmm. The "brown gravy" was a mushroom demi-glace and the flavor was deep and so so flavorful. The bubble waffle was also delicious although next time I'll probably get the one with fruit Overall excellent restaurant. It was a random suggestion from my BIL after we turned onto Market Street in Wailuku.

Oahu local island hopping to Maui and found this cute breakfast spot! Food and service was great and would definitely come back. Came on a Thursday morning with 3 people around 10a and got sat right away. I ordered the loco moco- hamburger was season and cooked well with the spam fried rice upgrade. My friend ordered the pineapple Mac nut pancakes which were also really yummy. Boyfriend had the crab cake Benedict's- crab cakes were so good and we enjoyed the corn bread it was on. Parking is all street parking but there seemed to be a lot in the area.

Somehow, not all my pics made it on my first review! So here it is... The food was simply divine! Fresh ingredients! Great service! Great location! The vibe is chill and relaxing! Can't wait to be back in Mauí again!

This is a very consistent restaurant with good food and friendly service. There's local artwork on the walls and the place is always inviting . My partner had the quiche with a fruit salad and it was really tasty I had mango and blueberries and strawberries on the side. I had the rainbow poke bowl, which was a combination ahi beets, quinoa, sunflower, sprouts, which is a signature of theirs. The servers were helped by the owner who acted as the food runner today. I got an opportunity to say hello to him. His name is Mark and I told him we have been coming there for years and really enjoyed it.

One of my favorite Brunch spot on island hands down! Anything on the menu doesn't disappoint! Chef Marc and his team give exceptional service while spotlighting their restaurant with delicious local ingredients. With his restaurant being situated on 62 Market Street, he also rotates his menu every 62 days according to the season so you get the best of what Maui has to offer. I always start off with their Freshly brewed Iced Tea which was Mango Lemongrass. My friend got the Soup of the Day which was a delicious combination of carrot, ginger, turmeric and coconut milk topped with a little crostini and micro greens. Our table had a variety of food. I LOVE their Quiche of the Day which was a Turkey Pot Pie that had fresh carrot, onion, mushroom and turkey in this soft custard egg and flaky crust with fresh fruit and House Potatoes. My friend always enjoys their Maui Cattle Loco Moco on top white rice and a Wild Mushroom Demi Glaze, a go to Hawaiian staple. The table also got the Signature Crab Cake Eggs Benedict that had a cornbread, bacon, poached eggs and a Lemon Truffle Hollandaise sauce. We all shared the Sweet Crepes which was Tiramisu. A perfect balance of sweetness! I always leave the restaurant feeling a "good, healthy" kind of full knowing all the food I ate was tasty and yet nourishing. Make sure to visit this Wailuku gem when you visit Maui!

I love the concept of this place! The menu changes every 62 days to keep with seasonal offerings of local farms. So very cool and it keeps you wanting to come back to either have something amazing you had again before it leaves the menu or to try something new each time the menu changes. I highly recommend making an online reservation as it gets really busy. Our server the other day was fantastic. Although super busy, she made stops for refills and check ins at regular intervals. Food was beautifully plated and delicious. The only thing we wanted was some cream or something in the middle of the sweet crepe. Otherwise, we're huge fans and love supporting this Wailuku gem.

Small local gem that's open until 2PM! What makes it extra cool is that their menu changes every 62 days, so there's always something new to try. I ordered the Loco Moco with spam fried rice & hello... DELISH!! The spam was crispy, the meat was tender, & the sauce? Chef's kiss.Definitely a must-try! We also got: Chicken sandwich - a little dry, but nothing a little sauce couldn't fix Braised short rib Benedict - loved this one, especially with the cornbread base instead of a biscuit. Genius. Cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich - super filling, but didn't stand out much Taro burger - such a fun vegetarian option! Unique flavor, high protein, no meat needed Papaya yogurt granola bowl - refreshing and light, a perfect shareable starter The spot has great vibes and is perfect for starting your day. Can't wait to come back and try their next seasonal menu!

This place is so cute. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They did seem busy for a weekday. We had to wait a bit for our food. Food was great! The stuffed French toast was delicious. A perfect amount of coconut taste. I would have liked a little more of the caramelized pineapple on top as I only got 3 little pieces. Sandwich was filling. Coleslaw had a strong vinegary taste. French fries had the perfect amount of crunch.

Came to this cute local brunch spot after a friend's recommendation. I never really eat brunch as I'm more of a lunch person but there were alot of unique menu items so I wanted to give this place a try. There was a short wait when we arrived at 10am but we didn't wait too long. The chef hand also delivered our plates to us which I thought was unique! My favorite was the Maui cattle loco moco, the sauce was so savory and flavorful. The waffle and crab Benedict were also delicious as well. Must visit spot for a casual brunch with family or friends!

Make a reservation. Although we didn't wait long to be seated as a walk-in. Popular and convenient location in Wailuku Town. Cute shops nearby. Fried chicken sandwich is crispy. The chicken is a great portion and sticks out of the bun! I would order this again.

So we ate here a few days ago and it was nice. It was pretty windy out that day but where the restaurant is located it is a little sheltered as they have an outdoor patio or the inside of the restaurant. When we arrived they had half of the restaurant full. Out waitress came by our table pretty quickly and got us some coffee while we looked at the menu. We have been here several times before so we know most of what is offered on the menu but we just wanted to see if there were any new offerings. We ended up ordering the loco moco with eggs over easy and crabcake eggs Benedict. Both were good. I feel like not as good as previous visits but pretty good the crab tasted a little old not bad but just a little old. The service was amazing our waitress did an amazing job as far as the decor it is nice but hasn't changed much from our prior visits. Well kept clean and still looks good. Overall I definitely will be back to try more of the delicious food. I personally like the waffles but wanted to try something different next time I will go with my first choice as those are always amazing. So stop by and check these guys out.

    Omelette, sweet lavender crepe

The whole team showed great hospitality towards us both Barbie and Kara. We tried the crab eggs Benedict, lavender crepes and kimchee omelette. The portions were very fair and well served, flavors were very balanced. Chef Marc came to the table to greet us and we let him know we'll be coming back soon :) - Maka

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

After getting back to our room I realized it was an ice cream cake so even as full as I was I tried to eat some cake before it all melted. The had the place decorated all up for Christmas. Very ONO, fresh! The Kona Kampachi Ceviche was winnahs indeed! Nice chunks of kampachi, with hints of sweet from the pineapple, saltiness from the sea grapes and limu, all swimming in that divine lilikoi-coconut citrus! So good with a side of taro chips! Hurricane Fries fit the bill for umami too! Mom & wifey shared the Garlic Kaua'i Shrimp and I'a Palai - fresh fish and fresh shrimp, no complaints HA! Fish & chips were delicately fried and light, no over greasiness here! Plump shrimp bathed in that savory garlic butter (and lots of it) got thumbs up! Not sure how sis-in-law's Hanapa'a was specifically prepared this day but it was pan-fried along with some fresh scallops accompanied by a creamy risotto and sauce, topped with a heaping helping of asparagus. Fish was so buttery! Bro got the Manini Burger (LOL) which should be for the keikis but he wasn't so hungry. For one 'manini' burger it looked to be a good-sized portion, he said was actually a really well-made burger! AND you cannot leave Seascape without having a slice of their decadent Maui Mud Pie! Oh boy this sucker was HUGE! It was Mom's favorite part of the meal LOL! She ate a chunk of it on her own! Can't go wrong with Roselani coffee ice cream, chocolate-macadamia nut crust, whipped cream, chocolate ganache, topped with more macadamia nuts and caramel! BIG enough to share for our party of 5! Indulge, be free! Much thanks to the Seascape restaurant for having us over for lunch! Much thanks to my niece as well for being the hostess with the mostest too, made our experience that much more enjoyable! Next time we're back on Maui we gonna be sure to make this a meal stop!

You don't have to be a student to eat here. ATMOSPHERE: This is the cafeteria of the school so don't expect any restaurant cues. The main cafeteria is on the first floor. It's bright and airy with communal tables of all sizes, with big windows for great outdoor views. The kitchen is divided into stations boasting specific names and cuisines. You order direct and pay for everything at the cashier line. Utensils, napkins, and condiments are last. I've been here a few times and it's never overly crowded. STATIONS (SEASONAL:) Farm To Table - Sandwiches. World Plate - Entrees. Paniolo Grill - Entrees. Raw Fish Camp - Sushi. Name comes from an old section of town on Maui. Campus Cafe - Burgers & quesadillas. Patisserie - Cookies & scones. Ramen X - Ramen! Yes!! FOOD: French Dip - O M G. This has to be THE best sandwich I have ever eaten! The meat was super soft and loaded with flavor. The cheese and horseradish (yuck, I'm so not a fan but could handle it in this sandwich) was gooey goodness. The bread which could've been toasted a bit more was fresh & soft. And the au jus - wow, this was super salty deliciousness! Came with a side of either pasta salad, which I had and tasted okay, or a green salad. Got some sour cream & onion chips which went perfect with it. Cheeseburger - Pretty good taste. They use Big Island cattle for the hamburger. Came with crinkle cut fries in a light seasoned salt. Penne Alfredo - Penne pasta, grilled chicken, and bits of zucchini, asparagus, onions, and mushrooms in an alfredo sauce. The flavor was a bit mild but still enjoyable. House Special Ramen - The broth had a nice shoyu based flavor and not overly salty. The noodles were fresh and cooked perfect. Toppings included bean sprouts, char siu, a poached egg, bacon (odd,) a big square of nori seaweed, fishcake, spinach, green onions and bamboo shoots. Pretty good portion size for $9.50. Edo Ya Special - Available in shoyu, shio, or tonkotsu broths. I chose the latter because no one that I know of makes this on Maui. The broth is smooth and creamy, the noodles are homemade and soft. It was drizzled with a chili oil for added flavor and topped with a soft boiled egg, spinach, bamboo, char siu, green onions, and nori. The char siu was the only disappointment of the dish as it had zero flavor and was too lean and tough with no fat - better for your health but not great as a topping. The portion was just right. SERVICE: The majority of the staff working in the kitchen are students. Some very eager, some timid but generally good service. OVERALL: Great food, great prices and good sized portions = a definite return! TIP: Hours are Monday - Friday 11am to 2pm, but a word of caution, sometimes one or more of the food stations may be closed due to unforeseen events schedules, class time, presentations, or even a lack of enrollment. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu with potatoes au gratin and veggies and the husband got the carbonara with chicken and bread. We washed everything down with an iced tea and a beer. The portion sizes were heberous and the food was fresh, warm and filling. The flavors were amazing and we savored each bite. Really had a leisurely meal. Didn't get a chance to make it back for Oktoberfest, but will happily dine here again to try their other dishes.

Guava Tree Bar & Grill had amazing local-style food at reasonable prices and pleasant service. I can see this place becoming a solid, local establishment like Tiffanyʻs or Marcoʻs. Folks, this place should be party of the ʻServing Maui for 30 yearsʻ club! I was here for a private event. The place is cute. Small, charming and loads of potential. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Alrhough their wine selection was limited and a bit uneven (Sutter Home but then a J. Lohr for chardonnay), their ginger ale selection was delicious! The food was incredible! Tender, fall apart pork slices, covered with savory, brown gravy; crisp, yet juicy, chicken katsu with a bite of ginger; toothsome chopped steak, tender mushrooms and flavorful pepper slices. Perfectly cooked rice. Yummmmmmm. The mac salad is better than many, but lacked a little tang. Overall, the food was so good that I looked up their hours. Iʻd definitely return.

Paella had been on the menu for at least 25 years! The waitress said I wasn't her only upset guest. She suggested a modified Ciopino but I noticed a new seafood item: MAKAI For Two that included a Lobster tail, fresh fish fillet, shrimp, scallops for $56. I was celebrating so I wasn't going to have an UNhappy birthday so I ordered it and was NOT disappointed. The portions were pretty big, barely enough for two people but enough for 1 large appetite. The 4oz. Ahi was seared, the medium sized lobster tail, 5 scallops, and 3 large shrimp were all grilled and came with a butter/sage dip. Excellent sides included saffron rice and fresh asparagus! The restaurant wasn't too busy and was quiet enough to talk, pleasant as usual. The service was good, the waitress pleasant and the food arrived promptly. The champagne complimented the meal. Although initially saddened by the menu change, I was pleasantly surprised with something new that was very good. Had a satisfying meal for my bday. Enjoy Foodies!

I was bum they were out of acai bowl the morning I wanted breakfast. I settled for their banana bread french toast and avocado toast. Both items were missing something and not quite right. The avocado toast was not toasted, it was just bread. The banana bread french toast was mostly bread and not french toast. You get what I mean? They do serve Starbucks coffee so that was a savior. At dinner I had the chicken pot pie and the brussels sprouts. The top layer of the pot pie was burnt and so was most of the brussels sprouts. At this point you are better off at the Costco food court across the street.
