Yummy!! We wanted to go to a locally-owned coffee shop and this was just down the street from the hotel. It was delicious!! Their banana bread pumpkin latte was yummy and their banana bread was great! We came here almost every single day of our trip!! The service was awesome, and there was never really too long of a wait. West Side local here -- this place is a gem and worth hyping and blowing up so that they have lines for days. Seriously so good. It's a coffee truck run by a local family, perfectly made to order drinks!! You won't be disappointed. Even better, its a drive thru. Best coffee in town, you can taste the coffee in every sip. The quality of the coffee is extremely good. I got an iced vanilla latte and it was the best one I had my entire trip. My partner got the cold brew and it was a hit as well! We get coffee daily while on vacation and The Coffee Stop delivered plus once we ordered they were fast. This is my second time here. My coworker recommended some things, so I tried the pumpkin banana bread latte (comes hot or iced, & milk alternatives are +$1) and a stuffed cookie. I got an iced pumpkin banana bread latte with whole milk. It's not written on their menu, but they'll have it until Thanksgiving. It was sweet and yummy, but it was hard to taste the actual flavors of pumpkin and banana bread. It just tasted sweet, but maybe my tastebuds are faulty lol. I would get it again. I tried a stuffed cookie. It's made by a company called Bite Maui. It was so good, and I highly recommend warming it up first for about 30 sec. The chocolate chip cookie is delicious and the brownie inside gets all gooey. I would definitely get this again. The service is always great. I went around 11:30a on a Wednesday and only waited a few seconds for the 1 car in front of me. I love how it's drive thru, and will keep coming to try new things. read more

went to the coffee stop on our way from west maui to south maui. pleasantly surprised to see that even tho it's a coffee truck it's a drive through. love that we didn't have to get out of our car in the humidity. i got one of their seasonal coffees- the macnut latte with pumpkin pie drizzle. not too milky and the pumpkin pie drizzle came through. that being said i ordered it half sweet and it was still pretty sweet- i can't imagine how sweet it would be regularly. BUT i will say i did enjoy my coffee quite a bit and the gal that took our order was nice. they also have some snack options that we didn't get to try but sounded good. overall would go back and try some more of their coffee flavors. read more

Wow! I may need to drive to Lahaina more often! Stoped here early Sunday morning as we were staying in Kaanapali for my daughter's 18th birthday. There was a coffee spot right next to our hotel with high reviews but decided to drive and give this new spot a try and we are so glad we did! Needed my morning coffee fix and my daughter and her friends wanted matcha. I had a white chocolate and mac nut mocha and my husband had a white chocolate and honey mocha. Their shot pull on their espresso was perfection. Not bitter. Not burnt. SPOT ON. We travel the world often and always start our day with a good cup of coffee. Yes we are a bit of coffee snobs. Coffee Stops espresso based drinks were on par with some of the best we have had. Yaw Coffee in Las Vegas is one of our all time faves! We also frequent First Wave in Kahului 1-2x per week. If we lived in Lahaina I can confidently tell you we would be here a few times a week (I have my own espresso machine at home along with a grinder and scale and I still would purchase my coffee here haha!) We wanted to stop by on our way back home to Wailuku because their coffee was that good but it was too late and they were closed. I can't speak to their latte art, coffee was so good and we took it to go so I didn't open up the lid- but if you want good quality coffee go here. Matcha was good too! (Didn't ask if it was ceremonial grade, we travel to Japan often and love Uji Matcha from Kyoto (my daughter loves Matcha) and she said it was good so I am assuming they use pretty high quality matcha and not that powdered fake stuff. read more
