A food truck in South Maui Garden. They serve acai bowls and smoothies. We got Rio smoothies (acai, banana, strawberries) and it was delicious! My little one drank the whole thing and didn't want to share!
Hands down the best place to get Açaí bowls in Kihei. Do not go anywhere else. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly service and set inside a nursery so there are lots of plants around that makes for a nice setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 would recommend.
Stopped by the Sweet Hula food truck in Kihei (located in the South Maui Gardens) and ordered a medium with Honolua and Hana açaí bowls. Both were absolutely delicious--fresh fruit and great texture and perfect portions. What I appreciated: they gave me a carry-away box so I could take it to the beach to enjoy. Super accommodating and exactly what you want when you're planning a beach day. Highly recommend if you're in South Maui!

I added to it papaya and cacao nibs. This was the perfect way to start my day. The bowl is almost ice cold, the fruits are fresh and juicy, the honey added a sweet almost savory aspect to it a the cacao nibs were the perfect semi-sweet addition. Overall the bowl is a 5/5. I can't wait to go back and try another one.

Sweet Hula is a food truck located in South Maui Market. We ordered two açaí bowls and they are delicious. So refreshing on a hot day. We went to Sweet Hula for breakfast want something lite and cool on this hot day. Service was kind and quick. I actually also dropped my bowl and lost my strawberries. I explained to the server what happened and she replaced my strawberries at no additional cost. I thought that was pretty awesome. I would definitely return on my next visit. (I created a collection of all the restaurants we visited on Maui from fine dining to food trucks and all in between.)
Pretty good but don't expect spectacular!! I love getting acai bowls and unfortunately the acai flavor wasn't shining through. It was mixed with fruit juice which masked the flavor. The overall ingredient quality of the fruit and service was five stars. I care about organic ingredients so I love that they provide this quality to their customers. I added almond butter as well. I liked this base better than the blue majik. The base itself is sweetened so the bitterness of the matcha cuts through the sweetness of both the sugar and the coconut. I also liked the combination of the tart blueberries and just ripe mango as fruits. I think the almond butter should be a default addition as it adds a needed element of creaminess and nuttiness. - blue majik bowl (7/10): coconut and pineapple cream with spirulina topped with strawberry, blueberry, pineapple, and coconut. This was sweeter than the other one despite the acidity from the pineapple. It is aesthetically appealing because of the bright blue hue but flavorwise could have used more pineapple. I went to this place on a Monday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all, so I was able to walk right up to the window to place my order. I ordered a medium bowl with blue majik spirulina as the base, topped with granola, strawberries, mango, pineapple, and cacao nibs. The fruit tasted very fresh and flavorful, and everything came together with the perfect balance of sweetness. Overall, a great experience and a refreshing, satisfying bowl.
I really like this place. This was my first time trying Sweet Hula. The acai bowl was really yummy. It tasted really good. This was a great snack. I would highly recommend this place. It's a must try.

Sweet Hula made bomb acai bowls. The kind we craved and it was amazing! My peeve, an acai bowl with the base that is a sorbet. Not blended acai like it should be. Thank you Sweet Hula for making a legit bowl with blended base. Located in Kihei with the food trucks. It was so good we came back the next day to get another bowl. We all ordered the Molokini with added bee pollen for my daughter and I. My son had the Molokini with cacao nibs. Must try, delicious and satisfying. read more

Hands down one of the best Açaí bowls I've experienced. I ordered the Jaws which has granola, mango, strawberry, and baked coconut shavings, with a honey drizzle and added bananas. The staff super awesome, nothing but positive vibes. This is the best spot for breakfast if you are in keihi area in Maui. It is a truck selling amazing açaí bowls and smoothies. Owner was so good and explained me about their different bowls. They were serving coconut scoop which is like coconut ice cream and it was really refreshing. I tried their hana açaí bowl which is so good, banana, strawberry and peanut butter really balanced the taste and also their matcha super food bowls was delicious. My kid loved their Moana smoothie, and coconut scoop ice cream. Will visit again o my next trip to Maui!!! read more

If you are in Kihei area and looking for açai bowl, make sure you're hit this spot. One of the outstanding açai bowls that I've had in movie and especially near the key area their Honolua ball is amazing. The local Bee pollen makes this bowl super amazing. There are plenty of other options available to, but açai bowls in this place have my heart one of the balls also have cacao nibs, which is super good and delicious. They're not a lot of fat sugars. Everything is fresh. . Very fast service I must say that they took just a couple of minutes maybe 2 to 3 minutes to serve four bowls for our party . This is in between complex where there are probably 30 to 40 different food trucks live music counters overall a very fun place where you can go sit down and have your food and chill for sometime and relax with your family and friends. This place is lit in the nights or evenings so make sure you hit the spot. read more

We were staying in Kihei so we were just minutes away from the food trucks in South Maui Gardens. We were in the mood for acai bowls so I did a quick search on Yelp and Sweet Hula came up with great reviews! The acai bowls come in 3 sizes and I thought they were reasonably priced. You can choose from a menu of acai bowls or create your own. They also offer smoothies and two super food bowls: matcha and blue majik. I had a small Maui No Ka Oi with organic acai, granola, banana, and honey and it was so refreshing on the super hot day. Totally recommend! read more

When I think of Maui, one of my first thoughts goes straight to Sweet Hula and their amazing matcha bowls! I had breakfast here repeatedly and grew quite attached over the few days I spent on the island. I went for the Matcha Bowl each time; mainly because you can't improve on perfection, but also because they happened to be out of the fruits for the Mauna Kea smoothie my bf and I wanted to try all week. The Matcha Bowl is a must try- the puree tasted perfectly of matcha without it being too overwhelming, and was balanced beautifully by the mangoes, blueberries, granola, and shaved coconut it comes with. The employees were all also extremely friendly. This breakfast only food truck is located in the Kihei South Maui Gardens, with plenty of parking options. They take tap to pay, which I appreciated since I always stopped by after a run carrying no money on my person. Outdoor seating is plentiful and pleasant, & I like that there is a central outdoor handwashing station stocked with soap and napkins. Lots of chickens roaming around, as is pleasantly typical. They open at 8:00am, so if you're up super early jetlagged coming from the mainland, kill some time walking along the shore in Kalama Park just down the street. The freshest açaí bowl I've had on the island. From the açaí to the fruits to the coconut shreds and granola. All are quality ingredients. I was confused about the location. It's in the second food trucks area across but slightly down from the storage building if that makes sense. Service was fast and courteous. Even my picky husband loves it. read more

Almost missed trying out Sweet Hula and their Acai bowls, but luckily we caught them a couple of minute before closing! We came for a sweet treat after spending some time at the beach. Located with a bunch of food trucks in Kihei, you can create your own bowl or order one of their signatures. Hubby & I were in a bit of a rush since they were closing, so we created our own: we both got organic acai as the base & each topping is $1 additional. I got blueberry, granola and honey. Hubby ordered pineapple, coconut, granola and honey. Both of our bowls were refreshing after a day in the sun and I wish we could've gone back to get more another day but our trip time didn't allow for it. Plenty of seating with all the other food trucks around. Parking is a bit tricky, we had to park across the street. This food truck lot actually extends across a beautiful zen garden with statues & things all around. read more

After a morning of snorkeling, we stopped by Sweet Hula's for a sweet treat. We parked across the street in a parking lot and just crossed the street to get to all the food trucks. The food truck area was the nicest setup I've seen by far! There was plenty of seating with shade and the colorful atmosphere made me feel like a kid at a candy shop but with food trucks! The employee who took our order was so sweet and friendly! My husband and I shared a large Jaws Acai bowl with likikoi ice cream, it hit the spot and was so yummy! read more

This is it! If you want a Açaí Bowl. The service was excellent. Great people. The truck was clean. The location is in South Maui Gardens (the Best place in Kihei). The Açaí Bowl was PERFECT. I got the Hana Bowl with Peanut butter. This is why I have cravings for Hawaiian food when we are gone. We also got a piece of the banana bread. Did not disappoint t either.
