Wow Wow is so cute, and honestly, "wow" is a pretty good word to describe this place. I ordered the Original Açaí Bowl after a long morning of visiting Haleakalā, and it was exactly the boost I needed. The cashier was really friendly, and once you order, they actually come find you to hand you your order, which was a really nice touch. The açaí itself was really good. The portion is big and comes in a cute jar. The açaí was thick and smooth, not overly sweet, and the fruit was fresh. It felt super refreshing after a long morning, and the whole place just has a great, chill vibe. Definitely a nice stop if you are in the area and want something light but filling. I wish I took a picture, but I ate it all up too quickly. read more

I have to confess I stumbled across this place as I was walking in the strip mall looking for a n or breakfast place. I saw locals eating outside so I popped inside. Super cute ambiance and friendly faces behind the counter won me over completely! They have nice lemonades: loved both the ones we tried. I especially loved the avocado toast with the chili flakes. It reminded me of home (Los Angeles) and I was super happy. Açaí bowl was fantastic. Chicken flatbread was yummy too! Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Service is super friendly and food and lemonade is fresh. I love supporting local places when I'm traveling and I will definitely be back when I'm in Maui next time! read more

Convenient açaí stop! Indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking because it's part of a plaza. Felt like I was right on the beach walking in to this place even if I can't see the shore. Lots of options on menu but difficult to compare each açaí bowl--I went with the "classic" it was perfect. They had a fun outdoor yellow table shaped like a lemon. Staff was welcoming and cool. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, but this treat somehow made it better. read more

I usually get myself my go to lemonade, Mango Colada but decided to try an Açaí bowl instead. The Açaí bowls look quite bigger, probably meant to be shared so I opted for the Mini Açaí bowl which is a 12 oz and I added a $2 topping, Haupia Custard topping. I also didn't know you could change the base so I changed it from Almond Milk to Coconut Milk. I loved how it had slices of banana, strawberries, blueberries and granola for the crunch and a drizzle of honey too. It took a bit longer, maybe 15 minute wait with maybe 3-4 guests waiting. I included a previous photo of lemonades I've purchased in the past and all the flavors are homemade and delicious. I'll be back to try their savory menu. The toasts and salad options look tasty and affordable! read more

Wow wow, would totally return for more delicious acai bowls! Loved the variety of combos available, and both the Hawaiian blue and cacao energy bowls were very tasty :) they also have a rainbow of namesake lemonades and savory avocado toasts to choose from. The bowls come with a generous amount of acai base (yay!). The Hawaiian blue bowl tastes very tropical and tangy being a mango pineapple base, while the cacao energy bowl base tastes more like the traditional acai bowl. The cacao custard is a thick pudding that I wasn't a huge fan of because it wasn't very smooth and was almost powdery. That aside, the cacao nibs provided a delightful crunch, the honey was the perfect sweetener, and the peanut butter layer added the rich creaminess. And the acai base wasn't icy-- it was sweet, smooth, and super yummy! We tried several acai places, and this one was my favorite (MT liked another place because the acai base was more tart). The vibes and workers are nice and chill-- they'll bring out your orders if you sit at the tables outside. There is an ordering kiosk on the right side of the counter but most people were ordering the good old-fashioned way with the cashier. Definitely coming back next visit to Maui! read more

We came here on the way to the airport craving something sweet. I opted for the watermelon lemonade with basil. At first I didn't taste the basil or watermelon but realized I need to mix it :) It was super tasty after that and it definitely satisfied my sweet lemonade craving. The service was top notch. The two gentlemen behind the counter answered my questions about the drinks and were quick and super polite. Something we don't have everyday nowadays so it was very nice to stumble upon this place. Wow Wow Lemonade actually uses the same sticker supplier as I do (for my food blog), so I was excited to try one of these fresh-squeezed lemonades and grab one of their stickers. Also yes ... my friend and I had lemonade for breakfast, mind your business, it was summertime and I was on vacation. Lol The Blended Passion Strawberry & Butterfly Mojito Lemonade were delicious, sweet but not too sweet. I definitely recommend grabbing a lemonade here, especially on a hot day. My only complaint is that they didn't have any souvenir Mason jars or stickers so I wasn't able to take home a memento from my visit. Other than that I loved this place. read more

Wow Wow Lemonade is such a treat for a post-gym workout and it is such a cute store inside with the merch along with the decor. The lemonade at Wow Wow is memorable. However, the açaí bowls are the true winners of the shop in my opinion. I ordered the Kings Açaí bowl with almond butter. The bowl was packed with refreshing açaí and topped with bananas, granola, and cacao nibs (which is my favorite, as it gives a bite & bitterness to it). It's a great treat that makes you feel guilt free and satisfied. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. They put time into making the bowls and ensuring the quality is there. Another added bonus to this shop is their cute merch. I bought a coconut car freshener and a mason jar. Whether you're in need of a refreshing drink or a nourishing açaí bowl, Wow Wow Lemonade is the place to go. Highly recommend! read more

When I imagine acai bowl, I picture the base to fill the majority of the bowl/cup with toppings filled to the rim. Isn't that how everyone pictures it? Don't get me wrong, I thought our acai bowls were good, and ingredients weren't too bad. The bananas were so thinly sliced that I felt like I was eating plantain-like paper. Maybe this is a way for them to cut down on costs of goods, who knows. I was just disappointed because, for the price we paid, we felt the amount given in the bowls were a little underwhelming. We didn't get a chance to try their lemonade, maybe next time if we ever go to to Kihei. read more

Dropped by on a Sunday around 2pm. I got the cacao energy açaí bowl. The fruits were fresh. The sweetness of honey, granola, and banana provided a good balance between the strawberries and the açaí base. They packed the container to the top. The cacao nibs added a nice textural contrast. They blend everything to order, so it does take a bit of time to get your food if they're busy. The bowl was huge. It lasted me for two meals/snacks. They do take online orders, but it didn't seem like they made the bowls until the person came to pick them up. read more

History

Established in 2012.

Wow Wow Hawaiian lemonade was born in the spirit of Aloha in 2012. We began our journey at farmer’s markets and night markets all around the island. The response from the community was amazing and we quickly knew we had something special. With the immediate and overwhelmingly positive response to our fresh and locally inspired tropical drinks, the farmer's and night markets quickly turned into a small lemonade trailer on Maui. With demand continuing to grow, the trailer soon turned into a brick and mortar gourmet lemonade stand in Kihei, Maui serving acai bowls, cold brew coffee, superfood smoothies, healthy bites, and hand crafted Lemonade served in our infamous Mason Jars.

Meet the Business Owner: Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade K.

In just a few years Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade has expanded beyond a lemonade stand on Maui to a thriving concept on the mainland and internationally. Sticking to our roots, we continue to serve our fresh lemonades at the local farmer's markets in cities we develop in.

They have an assortment of sandwiches, toasts, wraps and bowls as well as hot, cold and blended drinks and an open fridge near the register with water, canned drinks and fresh pressed juice as well. If you dine in, they'll give you a number and deliver your food to your table. There's a water, utensils, and condiment station along with a rack to put your dirty dishes when you're done. I got an Iced Chai Latte with Almond Milk which is delicious especially since I am a Chai lover. And my go to is the Smashed Avocado Toast with feta crumbles, sprouts and a few cherry tomatoes. I always add an egg for protein but you have the option to add 2. I kept staring at the pastries in the glass showcase near the register so after finishing my toast, I treated myself to a Cinnamon Roll (baked and delivered by a local Argentine bakery-Momona) & that was the best decision of the day LOL! I mean I'm not a cinnamon roll person but this was flaky, crispy, oozing with Cream Cheese frosting! Everything you'd ever want your cinnamon roll to be! I would literally come back just for this. I did wish it was a tad on the affordable side since everything together was maybe $25-30. I definitely wouldn't come here often but not bad if you'd like a good drink and pastry once in a while.

Service was with a smile, but we were half finished with our breakfast before the Bloody Marys showed up. Patio is nice and airy with some view across the blue course and toward Molokini. In the treetops. So why a rate of 3? It's the details- the server commented on delayed drinks very dismissively, and their outdoor speaker was on too loud to the point it reverberated with some static, definitely blown out. I asked to please turn it down or off as it was not adding to the experience. Got a very strange look and maybe it was turned down a fraction about 10 minutes later. Traffic noise was significant but we were sitting outside next to the road. Expected. But to compete with the music and traffic was not our cup of tea. This breakfast as described was $95. Friendly Staff, Tasty Acai Bowls & Freshest Tropical Lemonades! Yum! My favorite is the Lilikoi Lemonade because of the fresh tangy flavor. My other favorites are anything with mint or Coconut: namely the Strawberry Mint or Lava Flow! Don't forget to grab an Aloha logo mason jar souvenir! Acai Bowls are so Ono! Diverse options with lots of local flare from raw breadfruit custard to Haupia & a macaroon on top, as well as cacao, hemp, coconut butter, etc. Made with raw fresh almond milk, or coconut milk. Gluten free granola available too! My favorite is the No Ka Oi bowl or the Da Kine bowl, though the HaupiaOno is pretty amazing too! Okay so check it out for a real taste of local Hawaii style treats!!! read more

I've visited the Wow Wow Lemonade in Kihei a few times and I'm always so impressed. The lemonade and açaí bowls are hands-down the best I've ever had. They're so fresh and taste amazing! I've also tried their smoothies, and they were just as incredible. What really stood out (besides the delicious food and drinks) was the atmosphere. It's such a welcoming, chill spot -- perfect for relaxing and enjoying a healthy treat. You can really tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients in everything they make. If you're in Maui and are looking for a refreshing, healthy treat, Wow Wow Lemonade is a must-visit. Highly recommend! read more

Amazing menu amazing stuff but you guys have to find a way to lower your prices. $16 for a smoothie $12 for Lemonade $17 for an açai bowl. It's just too much we live in a world where someone has to work an hour and a half to make that. I love your products. I love your service, but if you guys could bring down your pricing to a more affordable price, we would make this or every day spot instead of once a month. read more
