My smoothie tastes like apple juice and dirty fruit. I got the mango pineapple peach strawberry special. Not impressed.

This bar has multiple types of kava premixed that you can sip on at the bar, and they also have mixed kavas to make it a little more tasty. Service is kind and patient. If you enjoy your experience and want to share it with friends and family, you can purchase 8 oz of kava for $50, which is a pretty fair price, and you know exactly what you're getting.

This clean, well-lit, friendly and inviting Kava bar practically pulled us in by the ambience. We were greeted by a very attentive bar tender who helped us immediately. The juice blends are well worth it if you're new to Kava - you definitely can taste it but it's palatable and highly enjoyable with the juice mix. We ended up going back 3x during our trip! We've tried the Kihei Sunset, Calamansi, Strawberry Passionfruit, and Pink Drink. All were equally delicious - my husband's favorite was the Kihei Sunset and mine the Strawberry Passionfruit. Kava is a great way to relax throughout the day, take the edge off at the end of the day or relax and prepare for bed. Wish something like this existed in Utah! To the owner, you could really make it if you came to Salt Lake City. Thanks again! We'll miss this spot.

The cashier was really friendly, and once you order, they actually come find you to hand you your order, which was a really nice touch. The açaí itself was really good. The portion is big and comes in a cute jar. The açaí was thick and smooth, not overly sweet, and the fruit was fresh. It felt super refreshing after a long morning, and the whole place just has a great, chill vibe. Definitely a nice stop if you are in the area and want something light but filling. I wish I took a picture, but I ate it all up too quickly.

Super cute ambiance and friendly faces behind the counter won me over completely! They have nice lemonades: loved both the ones we tried. I especially loved the avocado toast with the chili flakes. It reminded me of home (Los Angeles) and I was super happy. Açaí bowl was fantastic. Chicken flatbread was yummy too! Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Service is super friendly and food and lemonade is fresh. I love supporting local places when I'm traveling and I will definitely be back when I'm in Maui next time!

I was already doing the math and thinking , "Eh, we might be here awhile." But nah, good timing. People were finishing up, bussing tables, and bam, maybe 20-30 minutes tops. Not bad at all. While we was waiting, they come out with waffle samples for everyone in line. I mean... who does that? That's how you keep people from getting all hangry. Instant good vibes, the whole line outside was just smiling and waiting patiently. Finally get seated and both the hostess and waitress were super nice--real friendly, no rush, no attitude. In the front they had mushroom soup on the specials board, so we figured we go sample um. I had them bring a cup of soup out to start along with my wife's coffee. Gotta be honest--when I dipped my spoon in, I was already judging. Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. For my main, I went with the original eggs Benedict. Portions were a little on the small side, but with the roasted potatoes, I was good. Didn't leave hungry, didn't need to loosen the belt--perfect middle ground. My wife got the strawberry waffles and yeah... those were legit. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. We will be heading to Cafe Kaila again to try some other stuff like the "chicken and waffles", and next time, I'm not playing around with the soup. Bowl, Garans.

Walked in before 5:00pm with no reservation for a party of four. Well, that was a mistake. Despite idle wait staff and maybe only five occupied tables out of 20-30 total they made us wait for about a half hour. The reason was other people made reservations and were expected. When they finally sat our party the restaurant was still 2/3 empty. There was really no reason to keep us waiting that i could see. When you see someone in the party is disabled and using assistive devices you should be more accommodating. It kind of felt like we were being punished for not having a reservation. Also, expect a 3% service charge for the back of the house. Really, for the prices they charge for mahi fragments you could pay those people without a surcharge. Portions here are tiny. My mahi fragments were dry, over spiced and served with two unseasoned baby bok choi leaves and a slice of grilled tomato. For the price of almost $40.00. The beer was good and so was our server so they got one star for that. Otherwise, this place is touristy, overpriced and the maitre d' is slow on the uptake. Overall, there are plenty of great restaurants on Maui, recommend you try one of those.
