We came for lunch at Geste Shrimp and then stopped by Mo Ono for dessert. The mini 8oz bowl was the perfect size and a great price at $5. The açaí was refreshing and the fruit was fresh. I really loved the haupia drizzle, though the lilikoi butter was a bit too tart for my taste. I was hoping to come back again, but our time in Maui was just too short. The BEST Açaí bowl on Maui! They have all sizes to feed any hunger, mini, small, medium, and large. If I want a small satisfying snack I'll get a mini which is 8 oz but a small is perfect for me which is 12 oz. I got the small with "the works" which includes strawberry, banana, coconut, almonds, honey, and usually pineapple (they ran out today but usually have everything!) I love me some peanut butter so I added a premium topping for $1 more. Try lilikoi (passion fruit) butter, fresh poi or haupia (coconut cream/pudding) drizzle on top for a local twist! I have been ordering from this fine business for years and I can Happily say that the service is some of the best on the island some of the employees even recognize me. The service is always fast friendly and efficient. No matter how busy they are. The truck is a familiar site as I know I am going to get the best Açaí Bowl I have had so far and I travel quite a bit and have tried them up and down the west coast and thru Hawaii. They always give you a good amount of fruit Açaí and other toppings they do not skimp. The prices have remained reasonable and some of the most affordable. I like the fact that they have put up a nice sturdy tent so if you are eating there at the truck you are shaded from the weather and the plants are a nice touch. I am definitely a happy camper that they keep putting out a quality product and are still affordable. I highly recommend these guys. So açaí became my new obsession whilst on vacation in Maui and I made it my mission to find the best one. This one was pretty good and convenient in the food truck area across from Costco. I love the variety of sizes available and the pricing can't be beat. Also love the reward system they have and I'm sure I could rack up points there. The only drawback was the quality of the ingredients were not as good as a lot of the other competitors nor are the ingredients organic which is important to me. I did enjoy my bowl just wasn't the best. I'd go back for convenience and price. The small was only $5 bucks and that made me happy that it's a lot more affordable than some double the price. They also had select premium toppings which were $1 each, which we didn't get any from this list. It's a nice, refreshing treat and it's not overly sweet, relies mainly on the natural sweet fruits. So many choices too in this one location but I'd just spent the last 8 hours working my way to Maui, it was hot and humid and an Açaí bowl sounded filling and refreshing! It was both. Easy ordering directions on-site for all the variations and I think I waited maybe 5 minutes for my order. I ordered a small so it's large quantities! I also ordered "da'works minus the coconut" husband ordered from a different food truck (looked to be 8-10 trucks there and on the same street just down a bit was another lot with more food trucks). This was a great find at the food truck park near the airport/Costco/Courtyard Marriott. Their mini acai bowls for $5 is the perfect little dessert after eating a meal. They are small but good when you aren't looking for a full meal but just a nice light healthy snack. I wouldn't want to pay more than $5 so the $5 mini bowl really convinced me to give it a try. Acai tasted good. I got pineapple on top which was finely chopped and tasted very fresh, and honey which tasted high quality. I would definitely come back for a snack as long as they have $5 mini bowls. If I was hungrier, a larger one double the size is $10, which seems alright. Wish they had longer hours.
