I honestly don't write any reviews, but seriously DON'T GET SMOOTHIES HERE. From roaches on the counter, on the glass, on the walls etc. to workers not wearing gloves, and spitting in drinks, the employees are seriously the rudest I have ever dealt with on island. Managers are super rude. It is seriously disgusting when they pass me smoothies with residue on the bottoms of the cups, or leftover smoothie on the counter, it is honestly not worth it. Employees are super rude, one employee wearing a mask rolling her eyes at everyone and everything and other employees not even working half the time. I ordered 2 large jambas one strawberry wilds n the other white gummy. When I got my order both drinks were pink!? Now I asked the girl that gave me my drink which one was the white gummy, she pointed to the darker pink, now I've ordered this drink many times before n it was more off white than pink. To make my experience more irritating is the fact that this girl had some attitude and when I asked for a carrier for my drink, instead she pits my drink into the carrier like a good worker should, she took one off the pile and tossed it toward head turned away from me as if I was being a pain of a customer! Like excuse me Ms., I paid for a drink and I know for a fact that it was wrong n you have the audacity to give ME the attitude!?! That girl should be happy as shit, she working in a nice COOL place, all i wanted to do was purchase some jamba n cool down n be happy too before having to go to work. IMHO - Covid Edition This Jamba is located inside an dated mall in downtown Kahului. I had a few Jamba gift cards to redeem in my purse so we made our way there. Covid protocols in place; masks required, only a few people allowed inside at a time, partitions between customer and employees, etc. I don't remember what I ordered but it was super refreshing and delicious! Customer service was very friendly and welcoming! I've got one more gift card to redeem! Hope to return to Maui and redeem it there! read more

Today I was reminded why I don't go to Jamba Juice anymore. Originally I wrote this review for the Maui Lani location, but I figured I also post for the Queen K location. It's sad that the consistency of drinks is far off than it should be. I spent $9+ for a drink that was more like water than it was a smoothie. The consistency in how the drinks are made are always hit and miss. I don't think I should have to tell the workers to follow the SOPs and make the drinks right. One day it's okay, the next it's watery and flavorless. I don't know if it's because the workers are young kids, but I hope management does something to help train them up and gain those strong work ethics in delivering better performance. There's value in the work they put in and just how much their efforts affect other people, especially when we are paying almost $10 for one smoothie. Last month I came here, there was a girl who had irritation written all over her face and was throwing the blenders into the sink with attitude.. I don't know what she may be going through or what had happened for her to be that way, but it's actually pretty sad to see that these kids don't have a strong lead they can follow. Definitely not coming back until we know that there's consistency of doing things the right way. read more

I'm not a huge fan of the Jamba Juice chain but I've patronized them a few times in the past.   BRIEF HISTORY: The company's original name was Juice Club Inc., founded in 1990 by a college student named Kirk Perron as a senior project.  The company later acquired all Zuka Juice locations in 2001, a smoothie company that had several locations nationwide.  Outside of the USA, Jamba Juice has multiple international locations.   ATMOSPHERE: This location is in the Queen Kaahumanu Center, first level at the main entrance.  The store is bright and airy with a few countertop-style seats.  Like other JJ stores, a powerful smell of fruits and citrusy scents hits you in the face as you enter, like a blow from Mike Tyson. MENU: Smoothies, juices, juice shots, fruit & açaí bowls. Some locations serve food but not here. BEVERAGE: The first drink I tried was some berry concoction that was too tart for me, so I stopped patronizing them. That is until someone turned me on to the Orange Dream Machine. Holy yum!? Seriously, a creamsicle-flavored smoothie? Genius! I like it plain, with no grass clippings, boosters or shots. But, all that sugar inside makes it a rare treat for me. Was very disappointed. On July 21st 2024, I went in to order 2 drinks. A watermelon breeze and wanted to get an açaí bowl. At first I wanted to pre order them online but for some reason it said it was unavailable but the maui lani one was open for online ordering. So when I got there the girl at the register told me that they're not making any bowls. It was 5pm when I got there and they don't close till 6. So I asked her so you guys close early for bowls because you're cleaning in it early and she said yes. I understand if it was 10 min till closing but it was an hour before closing. My other smoothing came out great but it was definitely disappointing that they choose to not do bowls early. Jamba Juice stores aren't want they used to be. Disregarding that today was a busy day, I shouldn't have been waiting about 10 minutes for a small drink. There were 5 workers total (everything felt so unorganized) and the service was slow. Even others behind me in line and people that just came in got their orders before me. As the store emptied out and I was the only one still waiting, no workers came up to ask what I was waiting for. We came to get "drinks" because my friend was parched and we were about to go into the mall ... we mighta done better in the mall food court. Be as it may, the fruit smoothies are ice cold ... been years since I got a brain freeze! My mango pinapple flavor choice was so-so. They use a "ton" of plastic straws ... after seeing Maui bars and restaurants using paper straws, it appears that this juice business hasn't caught up to public awareness, and concern for plastic refuse getting into our oceans Meh, sorry, but service can be much better. On the outside of a large mall, this juice joint does a lot of business ... but, when you're a new customer, it ain't obvious which side of the counter (with 2 cash registers) that you're supposed to go to (especially when only a couple of folks are just standing by to receive their orders). The workers seem intense with a lot of scurry, but not helpful until you "intrude" to ask a question, like, where do I order? We asked the order cashier what the asterisk by a fruit juice on the big overhead board meant ... her answer? "I don't know, I never look up at the board." read more

Came in 30 min before closing new years day. The girl with the earphones was mopping the floor when my boyfriend and i came in. She immediately went to the back and started slamming everything on the counters, slamming doors, clearly angry. More customers came in after us. I was going to apologize to her for walking on the floor she just mopped but after that? Nope. If you know you're not closed yet and there's a possibility customers would come in then mop when you're closed and when your doors are locked. I understand working on a holiday TRUST ME but i would NEVER in a million years throw a tantrum in front of customers like that. HORRIBLE. Not sure who hired these employees. But this has to be the most unpleasant experience I had. The cashier for us came out of the employee room mask not even fully on. Goes to female employee that is utilizing the sink on 03/15/22 around 6:09pm he started to displayed pda to her. I'm assuming that his girl friend. But it's not appropriate to do when customers around. Trying their acai bowls at this location. Staff is helpful and patient..... I ordered the acai berry bowl, minus any nuts, and extra blueberries. My order was truly filled to the top. Looked so pretty, ready to dig in! Thank you jamba juice. The preparer did holler out that additional granola, not blueberries. Thats ok. As long as nuts are excluded. However, my scoops were not as "thick and crunchy" as I was expecting. Not sure if alot more soy milk is added than other places. Just had a soupy consistency. But it was still alright. Next time, I'll try another bowl. Maybe i can request more granola or less soy milk. read more

Waited 30 minutes for a medium peanut butter mood cause someone who ordered AFTER us took our drink because they had the same order. After that order was called another PB mood was called in a split cup, then another large one, then another medium. GET THE DAMN NAMES OR MAYBE ASK WHAT WERE WAITING FOR IF WERE STILL STANDING THERE AFTER THE RUSH GETS THEIR ORDERS. Yeah, I understand being busy, but more so, get the names of the orders like all Jamabas do? Especially if it's the same damn order 4 times in a row. Didn't say anything cause boyfriend didn't want me to make a deal of it with the young staff, who yes were working hard, but also needs to learn how to be more efficient and accurate with orders. read more

Customer service seems to be second hand. I came into the store being the only customer with my 6month old son, went straight to the cashier. There were at least 4 employees working, 3 of them working in the kitchen area, and 1 her back toward the cashier doing what she was doing. I stood there waiting to be help for at least 4 mins, know 3 of the girls working noticed me there but didn't let her worker know I was there. She turned around and didn't acknowledge me and didn't even thank me for waiting.... Drinks were made were good. read more

Its jamba juice, what else can u say. Either they make it right or they dont. This location had honeydew, watermelon, coconut, and kona flavors. Maybe cuz we are in the islands. Too bad Cali doesnt have these flavors. I got the honeydew chia bowl(delicious). My husband got the honeydew melon(good) and the watermelon breeze(gross). Not sure if it was supposed to taste gross or if its because a new chick prepared it. Anywayz, will return cuz its jamba juice. read more

I'm not sure what the hype is about Jamba Juice. My friends seem to enjoy these things, but when I've tried it, seems as if something is always missing. I guess these are supposed to be healthier? Personal preference leaning toward bubble tea! The service was okay; this place gets pretty busy at times. The gals behind the counter seemed to be working quickly and in unison, but the 3 stars are for the taste of the product. Kind of expensive too! I personally didn't order anything, but my fiancé did. The quality of the drink (the guava one) was up to par, but honestly, their customer service was really lacking. I don't know if they were just stressed or understaffed that day, but the girl who took our order was really short tempered. I get it, when things get hectic and busy, it's easy to get stressed. But that doesn't mean they should take it out on the customers. It also took quite a while for them to finish making his drink. Service is so bad. Employees were rude and did not care about what they were doing. I had to go back in to ask if my food could get reheated since it was frozen and hard in the center. They did it quickly the first time because they forgot to when I had first ordered and only remembered when my smoothies came. I also had to ask for my watered down smoothie to get remade. I usually get the same smoothie and this one tasted nothing like it usually does. The girl working grabbed it obviously irritated. A little customer service goes a long way kids! read more

We occasionally go to Jamba Juice when we're catching a movie at the mall -- preordering thru their app is definitely convenient and the only way I'll patronize the place. Smoothies are ok, it's a crap shoot to get your cup all-the-way-filled since it's more than likely you'll get an almost-filled cup. I was having trouble finding something healthy and substantial on my vacation. I walked in to a clean and cool store. I was having trouble reading the very detailed list of choices. The lovely lady making the squeeze of the day was quick to let me know there was a flier to look at. She was very fun kind and energetic. Downgraded my rating. The quality of their products are still good. But they don't carry my favorite anymore. Looks like they changed their menu items. I haven't frequented this establishment in years. My most recent outing the establishment forgot to take down signage that promoted a special. I ordered the item based on the signage. When I got my receipt I realized the discrepancy. I brought it to the attention of the cashier and she called a manager. I was told the special was over and it's now regular price. I told her sign says otherwise. She asked if I still wanted them. I said if it's regular price then no. I worked retail before and when the mistake was made by the retailer just like in this case. The retailer honors the signage. This manager didn't think this way. I decided not to go Jamba Juice anymore. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

The service was pretty quick. The total time spent in jamba juice from waiting in line and getting my order was probably 8 minutes. The cashier was pretty friendly. When i asked if the "blueberry dream" was as creamy as the "orange dream machine" she told me it taste like it sounds....what the hell is that!
