If you come to Maui with a list of the best banana bread stands from articles that you read online before visiting the island, I highly suggest to THROW THAT LIST AWAY! I too was that person and Honolua Farms was never listed in any articles that I read but it out performed every other banana bread that I had tried throughout my trip. This was by far the BEST and my favorite banana bread in all of Maui. If you like coconut this is the place for you. The edges of the bread are caramelized giving it extra sweetness and topped with coconut shavings. This stand can be quick to miss if you're driving too fast but it's in a very cute area with a lot of nature that you can walk around in across the street and visit the locals (aka the chickens) that roam around. I loved this place so much I had come went to Safeway to buy tupperware to bring some home. 10/10 recommend. read more

Don't blink or you'll miss this little stand tucked into the jungle...and you don't want to miss it. They make their muffins using bananas raised on the farm. When I had them, they were right next to: https://www.yelp.com/biz/honolua-bay-kapalua Local food and drink right next to one of the best snorkeling spots on the island, how cool is that? It's like my days growing up in Florida except: you can see through the water, this food is much better for you than an ice cream truck, there is no #FloridaMan. When paying I put my card in and the woman working took the machine back as I caught a brief glimpse of a tip option. She selected something and thanked us. I thought it was strange she didn't let me select and so I made a mental note to look at the bill later to confirm the amount. Turns out she gave herself a 25% tip on my card without my consent! Delicious fresh huge smoothies! (Sadly we only tried the smoothies but their food menu also looked so good!) Smoothies: $10 each, we got the mango one and the mixed berry one. So refreshing! Service: super fast, friendly! Space: food truck right across from the main parking space of the Honolua Bay access trail :) they have a cute log bench and then also two covered tables in back to eat and sit at. Bomb dot com! Delicious organic goodies! We've been back to visit Lynn at the Honolua Farms Kitchen truck three times out of the seven days that we are vacationing in Maui, so you know it's good! Not only is the food delicious, but the service is impeccable. Lynn and her staff is so friendly and accommodating to tourists curious about their menu. It's the purple truck located right across from a great snorkeling spot where we saw turtles and schools of colorful fish. The tropical smoothie ($9) is so refreshing and the acai bowl ($12) with bananas and frozen blueberries is a must-get and you should definitely add the most delicious organic honey and bee pollen to it. Adds the perfect touch of sweetness to your bowls. The cheeseburger ($12) is amazing as well with sweet grilled onions and a flavorful grass-fed beef patty and a side of my favorite mini gherkin pickles. We ordered the turkey sandwich ($9) too and it's really tasty! I tried a bite of the vegetable and chicken curry ($12) too and it was also very good! Wish we had one in LA! read more

This is a nice stop for a quick bite or refreshment before or after Honolua Bay, as it is located right across the street from the entrance. They have a small selection of smoothies, snacks and entrees. They have both vegetarian​ and meatatarian options, and are one of the few places in the area that seem health conscious. I did not have a chance to have food here, but I did enjoy the tropical smoothie and local kombucha. The smoothie was perfect on a 90 degree day! The ingredients were simple and fresh...just blended pineapple and mango topped with fresh mint. I love that all their ingredients are locally sourced. The kombucha was super freshing, albeit a bit pricey ($5) for a small cup. I LOVE that they provide snorkelers with eco friendly sunscreen. The chemicals in regular sunscreen are killing the coral. Most tourists are not aware of this. I love that the owners are advocates of the environment and practice what they preach! MAHALO! read more

After spending the afternoon in Honolua Bay we decided to give the food truck called Honolua Farms kitchen a shot. It was just what we needed. Everything from a Au bowls, chicken curry (served over brown rice and delicious and very spicy), to grass fed beef burgers, organic lemonade and delicious organic fruit smoothies. It was definitely on the pricey side but the quality was outstanding so I guess you get what you pay for. When you check in with yelp you do get a free organic lemonade; worth five dollars. This place is a hidden little food truck gem. We were a little skeptical but when in Maui ‍ So glad we did! Even my picky little eater loved it .. we all had the cheeses burgers with the best Pestomayo on a grilled ciabatta bun! This was a really strange experience. First of all... maybe it deserves 5 stars for being a food truck in a jungle. That deserves it. But it missed the mark. Chicken curry looked awesome but fell a little flat. My wife had the burger and is was a bit whimpy for $12. She said is it was pretty good though just small and no chips or side. I visited Maui with my family back in December. After visiting the Nakalele Blowhole, we found the Honolua Farms Kitchen truck off the side of the road. We ordered an açaí bowl and a tropical smoothie. After paying for both of them, a total of $21, I hoped it was worth. Spoiler alert: it was. The bowl was AMAZING! I've had other açaí bowls (hi Jamba) but nothing could compare to this bowl. The bowl had açaí, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and bananas. For the food and pricing, I give them 3.5 stars. Turkey sandwiches were not out of this world and for $9 elsewhere i would expect better. But this is Maui and many places charge $15-20 for a sandwich, so in comparison, it is better to what is also on the island, pricing-wise, but I would not say it is amazing. I didn't have high expectations for a food truck that feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, but I ended up being really impressed! The smoothies are beautiful and delicious and the food options are way better than expected. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is that the turkey sandwich I got had a lot of majorly strong mustard on it that I wasn't wild about (it was so strong I couldn't taste the pesto mayo) but otherwise was a great sandwich. It is clear that they are on a mission to serve good, fresh, healthy food and be environmentally conscious (food is served in compostable containers and they had reef-safe sunscreen available). This is an excellent and very strategically well-placed food truck. The ingredients of Super Fresh, and we enjoyed both there burgers and lemonades. It hit the spot! The ground beef was fresh and juicy, and a unique condiments and fresh bread really took it over the top. It was rather tough for us to find places to eat on the go and that were convenient, and this place just hit all those notes. Next time I go back I am definitely trying this smoothies.
