Best mahi mahi and Kailua pork . Fish are fresh . Each time I come back I eat here . It's a food truck area across groceries store . Small parking behind or park across the strip mall and walk over . Lots of other food truck but I have tried other places this by far best

You want some dry ass chicken? Then this is your spot. Got 3 incredibly thick pieces of overcooked chicken breast that's barely seasoned. The mac salad was good, the rice was fine, but what terrible chicken. They're also cash only.

    Teriyaki steak $25 5/2025

This is the food truck location in Ka'anapali in front of the Hilton and other hotels. Known for their local plates, the guy behind the window suggested the teriyaki steak $25 Definitely good choice and delicious! The steak was juicy and the teriyaki sauce was perfect, not overly salty. I'm all about the sides too and their mac salad was yummy- contained small bits of veggies like red and yellow peppers. Of course a scoop of rice or you have a choice of steamed veggies instead. Cash only

One of the simpler looking food trucks at the Honoapiilani Food Truck Park, the surfing lizard mascot shows off their Hawaiian meat plates served with Mac salad and rice. We were able to try any 3 of their meats by ordering the Big Kahuna Trio plate and were able to choose vegetables or macaroni salad to go with the rice on the side. It hit the spot for the meat lover! The mahi mahi was cooked nicely and was my favorite of the meats we tried-- meaty but not dry (I don't like my fish flaky!). MT's favorite was the chicken katsu (breaded and fried) which was sauced up with their own version of tonkatsu sauce. The kalbi ribs were very salty and tasted mostly of soy sauce (pass on this one). The furikake rice has a large amount of salt on it too, so it was overall quite a salty meal. As for the veggies, they seemed partially sautéed and partially steamed (soft but a bit buttery as well). Overall, a big and tasty meal with a good variety, but it was on the saltier side. Service was friendly, and they only take cash. Prices are a bit pricey but comparable to the other food trucks in the area. Parking is in the back gravel lot. There are plenty of picnic tables in the area, and the string lights and crowd of people make it a lively scene at night. :)

We absolute LOVED Lahaina Grindz!!! We got this on our first night in Maui just as a quick dinner option so we wouldn't have to worry about reservations, and we can honestly say by the end of the week, the food from Lahaina Grindz was by far our favorite in both taste and value, so much so we cancelled a reservation we had for our last night and went back to Lahaina Grindz instead. The fact we got a 3 meat plate with very generous serving sizes for only $28 each practically blew our mind. We paid WAY more for much less desirable food elsewhere, including highly-rated sit down restaurants. If you're on the hunt for a delicious bang for your buck either for lunch or dinner, this should definitely be on your radar!!!

Good loco moco for a food truck! Food was out in a decent amount of time. Hangout at the food trucks was really chill!

Kalbi rib plate & roasted pork plate. So good!

I have been trying to find a spot that served kalbi ribs near my hotel & was lucky to find this food truck spot. My husband and I ordered the kalbi rib plate & roasted pork plate. Both very delicious, lots of flavor & good portions. Staff is very friendly, we waited no longer than 10 min. Happy to have found this spot.

Big kahuna trio kalua puaa x2 and hulihuli chicken

It was fabulous, and the unexpected touch of mint elevated the flavor beautifully. We also indulged in the famous "Hula Pie" for dessert. Decadent is an understatement! It is absolutely massive--definitely enough for 4 people and not to be missed. To be fair, the service was somewhat slow, but the incredible food completely made up for it. As for drinks, the local Mai Tai was good, though not the greatest I've ever had on the island. Pro-tip: Reservations are strongly recommended, but they do accept walk-ins with a short wait. Plus, they offer parking validation which is a huge bonus in this area

We started with some clams, and for that price you only got like 6 clams. Knowing that now I would skip! Stick with just a salad and entree. We got the Caesar salad, it was pretty good. My entree was the ahi tuna slightly seared. This restaurant is one of the only places I know that can cook an ahi tuna right. Other places we've been too tends to overcook it. Hula grill got it right. It was delicious. My husband got the Mac nut fish, and he said it was ok. He said it needed a better beurre Blanc sauce. Maybe with some citrus. It lacked flavor. But the best thing here was the kids menu. When we went they had a $20 petite filet with mash potatoes. It was perfectly cooked. My 2 year old ate ALL 4oz of the filet! It was that good. I tried a little piece and hot damn, what a deal. The best kids menu deal when they have it available! Get it. It was our anniversary, so the server gave us a celebratory hula pie. So good. It's nice they recognize your celebratory moment too!

It's gorgeous inside and some of the best service we've had - hostess, waiter, bussers, everyone was excellent. We also loved the food we had. It's upscale and island prices, but well worth it. Everything was tasty and we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine. They will cork your leftovers for you to take back so don't be shy about getting a bottle. We're so happy this part of Front Street is surviving and thriving and we will definitely be back.

It turns out it was an awesome dining experience and he truly enjoyed the flight tasting experience! We made reservations for the dinner. You need to make reservations ahead of time for the restaurant if you plan to eat there. This small cozy restaurant has breathtaking views and the waves cresting against the coast was an amazing sounding experience. We started with a half dozen of oysters it was so fresh, the shave wasabi went so terrific with it. We added the beef tallow truffle fries and it was delicious as well. I ordered the chef specialty fresh fish dish and my husband had an osso bucco. Both were delicious and filled us up. He ordered a couple different whiskeys and he said it blended well with all the dishes. They had many options for dessert. We ordered Roselani's vanilla ice cream and a americano. It was the perfect finish to our dining experience!

The setting alone is stunning--overlooking the Kapalua golf course with gorgeous ocean views--but the food absolutely lived up to the scenery. We started with a fresh house salad, which was simple but perfectly dressed and a great way to kick things off. For entrées: * My husband ordered the short rib, which was incredibly tender and rich with flavor. The sauce paired perfectly with the creamy mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. * My oldest son had the prime rib, and it was cooked beautifully with a great sear and topped with asparagus and a flavorful butter. * I chose the shrimp scampi, which was buttery, garlicky, and packed with shrimp. The pasta was coated in the most delicious creamy sauce and even came with toasted bread to soak up every bit of it. * My younger two ordered from the kids menu--the kids short rib and butter-and-cheese fettuccini--and both plates were generous and surprisingly elevated for kids' meals. Everything we ordered came out looking beautiful and tasting just as good. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the whole experience felt relaxed but still upscale. If you're visiting Maui and want a spot that delivers great food, amazing views, and works well for families, The Plantation House is absolutely worth the reservation.

So today we walked over to check out the Ulu Kitchen located in the Westin Maui. Short walk from the Marriott Maui Ocean Club down the pathway. Sat on the deck overlooking the beach and took in the ocean breezes. Staff were very attentive and quick to get us settled in to our table. Our server Brandon happily took our drink order bringing back some amazingly cocktails. The Mai Tai had a decadent foam on top unlike your normal Mai Tai that truly made the cocktail unique. Brandon took our order and we took in the beautiful Kaanapali coast and people watched, our food came and we started with a Tako (octopus) prepared in an escargot style served with house made focaccia bread. Great way to start and the sauce full of garlic and butter. The salad was great with the option of chicken or local fish and I took the fish. The smash burger was da bomb! Great quality beef on A soft brioche bun, the French fries had a unique flavor twist prepared with a little rosemary, very good. Loved the feel of the room (if you call it that-solid roof flowing onto lattice and then palapa style umbrellas and completely open on 3 sides. For breakfast, I got the Pete's Benedict and The Cure twice. Pete's Benedict was good, rich hollandaise sauce but couldn't eat it more than 1 day. The Cure is their version of ramen noodles with an Hawaiian twist, they put Kailua pork for the protein, along with an fried egg, and a bunch of veggies - carrots, bok choy, mushrooms, bean sprouts and onions. It was salty, but really good for a night of drinking. It's literally called the cure because it cures hangovers. lol. It was delicious. My husband got the blueberry and lilikoi pancakes one day, it was really good, very Hawaiian. And the kids menu was eggs, bacon and 3 fried potatoes. My toddler enjoyed it every day. They don't serve drinks until 8am, due to state laws. For HH we got the famous mai tai with lilikoi foam, they didn't do it well here. It was too much lemon, felt like you were drinking only lemon juice with some rum, but the lilikoi foam was consistent and good. Skip the mai tai and go to MonkeyPod, bartenders are more experienced there. Overall, we enjoyed breakfast here everyday.
