Our food was awesome and the drinks were great! The dining area is open and airy with lots of rainbows over the golf course. Our waiter was super friendly and accommodating!

Absolutely amazing! The food is incredible and the views are even better, overlooking The Plantation golf course. You literally can't find a better place to view a Maui sunset. Just stunning! We had the local fish specials and they were really good as well as the chocolate bomb dessert. Highly recommend this place for a more formal dinner night (kids are totally fine finding something as well). And if you get a chance to golf The Plantation, do it!

Incredible setting and Kapalua located on a golf course. Fish tacos or so perfect season perfectly there's three in an order with chips, cilantro, fresh tomatoes. Great breakfast menu at lunch menu with something for everybody. Incredible views of the Mountains and ocean! Incredible setting. I have been coming for many years and I recommend this restaurant highly. It will not disappoint. .

We went to the plantation house for dinner. It was a dark drive up there and couldn't see much of the green views, but that's OK since it was at night. The bread was surprisingly good. It was soft on the inside and nicely toasted on the outside. We ordered the lobster ravioli, and braised short rib plate. The lobster ravioli was really good. Whatever sauce they had on there complemented the dish really nicely. The breed short plate was good. The meat was tender and soft and the sauce on it was sweet almost like a teriyaki for dessert. We had the upside down pineapple cake that came with coconut ice cream. Definitely give that a try that was a good pick. Our waitee was really nice and attentive, and these places really make effort to make your dining experience a memorable one .

The Plantation House is a must-visit! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible views -- lush green fairways rolling into endless ocean horizons. It's easily one of the most beautiful dining settings in Maui. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, delivering top-notch service with genuine aloha. The food matched the scenery in every way. The Loco Moco was rich and flavorful, the veggie omelette was perfectly cooked and fresh, and the Kula greens salad was crisp, vibrant, and beautifully dressed. Everything tasted high quality and made with care. A perfect combination of amazing food, exceptional service, and unforgettable views -- The Plantation House truly captures the spirit of Maui dining at its best! The Plantation House is a must-visit! Cocktails with a view

Even though we had an unfortunate birthday experience here in Jan 24 we decided to give it another go and this time it was excellent. Hubby was celebrating another year older and we love the food here so we booked online and were seated at a front row table for 2 with an outstanding view of the golf course and Molokai. We arrived at 12.30pm with breakfast and lunch being served simultaneously so I plumped for my fave crab cake benny and Hubbs chose the chimichurri steak and wedge. We drank Pain in the Coconut (a fruity concoction of orange and pineapple juice, bitters and rum) and a non alcoholic version of it too. Both were sublime on a warm sunny day looking at the blue, blue ocean. Hubby's sweet tooth was delighted by the pineapple upside down pud served a la mode, and the chocolate bomb which was served with creme anglaise was delish! Even I ate a spoon or two and I normally don't like dessert as it is too sweet Hubby received a birthday card from the staff and Melissa M was fantastic, attentive and chatty, and excellent at keeping us topped up with drinks and bringing everything we needed. We didn't even realise it was her first day until we tried to pay with a gift voucher and she asked another server to show her how to process it. They also showed us how to sign up for a special offer using a QR that we can use at Plantation House and Castaways in Kaanapali which gave us $10 off our meal! The lady with the cute pink hair at the entrance desk made sure we got a great table for 2 too. All in all we had a fantastic birthday lunch, food was fantastic, and we enjoyed every bite and every minute. Mahalo to Melissa and the other staff who went out of their way to make Hubby's special day one to remember :)

I have been dining here for years, this is my first visit in 7 years! The views are still amazing. The service was impeccable throughout our visit. We had the best table sitting at the window for the three of us. We had a couple of food glitches from the kitchen but they were so gracious and took amazing care of us. The food is pretty good. This visit we had the veggie omelet plate and steak and wedge salad plate. Plenty of food, brought leftovers home too and they were fantastic reheated! It's a beautiful experience here and I will always return!

Drinks were meh

If I could give 4.5 that's where I'd put it. The view was a 10 for sure. The service was good and the food was good. The drinks were sub par. My drink had strawberry puree and grapefruit soda. It was barely pink and served in a large glass that got super diluted. Hubby said his drink wasn't great either. We had the fish special and the seared ahi. Both were fine. Nothing to differentiate them from any of our other meals but not bad. All in all we would go back but it wouldn't make it as a favorite

Fish N Chips

The sweeping views of the golf course with the mountains in the background are stunning and set the perfect tone for a relaxing meal. We started with drinks, and the Lavender Whale cocktail was refreshing and beautifully balanced. Every dish we tried was top-notch--the Hawaiian ahi poke was fresh and flavorful, the shrimp cocktail was crisp and clean, and the fish and chips were perfectly fried. The catch of the day, ahi tuna with furikake rice, was the standout: incredibly fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The service was good and attentive. Delicious food, great drinks, and unbeatable views make this a place I'd happily return to.

To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. I made a reservation at The Plantation House right after I made the reservation to go to Maui. I made it for the date of my husband's birthday. The week before we flew in, I received a phone call saying that they needed to close the restaurant for 2 days to fix something. I do understand that these types of things happen and need to be addressed. We were able to reschedule for a few days later, I mentioned the celebration of my husband's birthday and was told that they would have a grand celebration for him. That didn't happen. When we walked into the restaurant, the maitre'd mentioned that when it was time for dessert, that they would take care of us. We were given a choice of tables and chose one with a magnificent view. We ordered wine and reviewed the menu. Since my husband is a big fan of escargot, he ordered that as a starter. It was very good and the typical service for the dish. I ordered the Kula Farms Greens. We normally split a salad. Although the salad with the papaya seed dressing was very good, it was certainly not big enough for 2 people to split. As an entree, I ordered the Seafood Chow Fun. It was mostly the char siu pork with 2 scallops and 2 shrimp. I did not detect any crab in the dish, although it is in the description of the dish. It was very good and I did enjoy it. My husband ordered the Brown Sugar Togarashi Seared Ahi. He did enjoy this dish. We were asked if we wanted dessert and because we were celebrating, we ordered the sorbet to share. The promises that were made about our trip to the Plantation house were promises unkept. I expected to have a candle or something to indicate that it was a special occasion. I don't understand why the maitre'd said anything about taking care of us at dessert time. The service was very good. The scenery was amazing. The respect for rescheduling our visit and the celebration of a special occasion was severely lacking. We have been to Maui many times for my husband's birthday and The Plantation House always took care of us. For us, it is not a special place any longer.

Catch Of The Day: lobster risotto, local vegetables, lobster cognac cream
Melissa L.

Had a family photo shoot at DT Fleming Beach and saw that the plantation house was nearby so I made a reservation for dinner for after our photo shoot. The restaurant is on a beautiful golf course with amazing views. They have complementary valet parking. They have take great food and drink menu. I ordered the local catch of the day, my husband ordered the shrimp scampi, and we got our son the kids chicken tenders, and fries. For drinks, I ordered the Lilikoi Joy and my husband got pain in the coconut. Both really good drinks that were well-made and refreshing. I can't remember what the fish of the day was but it came with lobster risotto, local vegetables, lobster cognac cream. The risotto didn't have the right consistency. It was more like rice with pieces of lobster. The vegetables were cooked well and had a good crunch to them. The fish was also cooked very well and well seasoned. My husband enjoyed his shrimp scampi, and it was a very generous portion. Overall, a really good dinner, with good service, and amazing views. Overall 4.4/5

Lobster Ravioli

We were able to get a 630 pm reservation on a a Tuesday evening, and while we didn't snag a 'perfect' spot, the hostess made sure we had a great view of the sunset. Alas, that night's show wasn't spectacular, but the view sure is, regardless. Honestly, who needs a sunset with the natural beaty of the green course and the blue ocean!? Really special. But, the stars of the night were phenomenal service from Amanda, and the food! Casual Fine Dining, an excellent wine list and great cocktails. We had the Tomato Bisque, soup of the day, and the Lobster Ravioli to start. Both were great. For dinner, the daily special Fish Duo (3 oz kampachi and 3 oz butter fish) was crazy good, and the Macadamia Crusted Mahi over coconut rice with a tomato sauce and asparagus was perfect. Rarely do we do dessert, but the pineapple/coconut ice cream called, and it was excellent! We will look forward to a return visit every chance we get, for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Keiki French Toast

The pineapple was so juicy it made me close my eyes, such a refreshing way to start the day! The fruit plate truly hit home base, and the plating itself was absolutely beautiful. The Lobster Benedict was another highlight. The bread had a perfect crunch, the lobster was fresh, and the eggs were cooked just right. The potatoes were a bit on the mushy side (I personally prefer them more roasted), but overall the dish was still delicious. The French toast was incredible--fluffy, warm, and sweet, with the syrup served warm so it paired beautifully with each bite. The service was excellent: polite, attentive, and delivered with a great spirit. The view absolutely breathtaking. With the ocean right in front of you and Molokai clearly visible, it was the perfect backdrop to an already wonderful meal. Everything came together: the food, the service, and the view. I'll definitely be coming back!

While I adore and often cook a lot of Asian food I'm not such a fan of Filipino food yet around it more than any other food with family. Bad choice. After driving there from Lahaina for lunch, this dish was unavailable?? Even yelpers rave about it! So we ordered the pork belly and wanted chow fun but they only have the chicken variety? So there is a reason why the Asian restaurants we usually dine at make beef chow fun. The chicken version was bland and wanting for something else to complete it! But surely edible and nicely cooked noodles. The pork belly was ok but not slap your momma I'll go back for that good. The Mac salad was awful compared to much more affordable plate lunch places. It was flavorless, overcooked pasta, and a gritty texture! Weirdly the chairs there at the tables are low and you feel like you are at the children's table at Thanksgiving. So much so that us and two other groups including the ones that moved after ordering to our vacated table moved from the regular tables to the ones at the window with a bench on one side. We had fun joking with our replacements about that! So for the most part here it appears to be tourist clientele and not many Filipinos but my wife. I think that these exceptionally high prices for basic dishes and burgers (she asked why would people go to a Filipino restaurant and order a burger) are why not many locals eat here. And frankly most aunties make better Filipino food better at home. Glad we tried but not again. Checked off of our try try list. They didn't even have a signature dish available that we went particularly to get.

Our amazing server Nick recommended we get the whole fish; he said to trust him as it is cooked over a charcoal oven. Well, Nick was right... we have had cooked fish from all over the world and nothing was as exceptional in flavor and size as this fish! It came with two sides; we ordered the mashed potatoes and corn and let me just say the corn was phenomenal and award winning! We topped our meal with the banana cream pie and it blew us away! Also, the cocktail menu and wine menu is exceptional. We started with the Ua Kapalua (jalapeño cucumber tequila) and it's better than any drink at any Los Angeles hot spot.
