Pool side pole was a winner. Ordered back to back afternoons. Simply delicious and fresh!

Food was good, drinks were good too. Best part was the ocean view and sunset during dinner. Location was convenient since we were staying there.

We came here because I got a hotel text message saying Mondays are prime rib night. The restaurant is located in the Westin Kaanapali South hotel and is open air nestled between the hotel buildings and the swimming pool. You can hear waterfalls from the garden and see many people walking by in their bathing suits. Our server Joel was very polite and helpful. My Tropical Monkey cocktail was very refreshing. My wife liked her catch of the day which was mahi mahi generously portioned and very savory. The star of the night was the prime rib which was perfectly cooked medium rare accompanied by broccolini and mashed potatoes. Everyone loved their meals.

Lowkey restaurant at the Westin. Open-air and relaxed environment. Service was great! So friendly, attentive and fast. Food was just okay. I didn't love the fresh catch of the day. And the short rib was tougher and fattier than any we have tried before. Limited local beer selection. Good wine selection and cocktails.

They have really improved the menu and the food. Service is great. Attentive and quick! The ambiance can't be beat being close to the ocean and pool with views of the sunset. You can make a Rez on open table. They had a good selection of healthy and hearty meals. The salads are a great size. Very happy with our meals. They customize too to meet dietary or preference requests.

Westside Burger. No lettuce. No onion. Add avocado. Add bacon. Sub french fries as side.

Food is delicious every time! Ate here three times this week! Tue fries are huge and made perfectly. They give you different choices for how you want your burger cooked.

It's my mama's birthday month, so we wanted to start it off right with breakfast at Auntie's Kitchen. Then of course a little shopping afterwards at Whaler's Village since we're in the area. Although this might surprise you but this was actually our first time to Auntie's Kitchen too. So I really had no idea on what to expect. The view however, Auntie's Kitchen is located in a relaxed, poolside setting at the Westin Resort. The open air restaurant view of the beautiful landscaping is definitely giving off vacation vibes. I love being surrounded by greenery. Seeing the birds sun bathing, dragonflies hovering around the water fall & the fish just chasing each other around. It's such a relaxing & welcoming setting. Even all the diners seem to be enjoying themselves. As their waiter makes his way around the restaurant checking on each table. Even the guests passing by either just finished eating or heading to grab a bite are in a friendly mood. Smiling & greeting other guests as they pass by. As we casually make are way over to the hostess stand, without a reservation, we were seated immediately. The restaurant was only about 1/3 packed when we arrived for breakfast. So I definitely appreciated the VIP treatment when getting seated at an instagram worthy table. Although all the tables have a nice view of the grounds. With too many delicious choices to choose from the Avocado Toast won my pick. With smashed avocado, cherry tomatoes, cotija cheese, radish, egg, micro greens & chili oil. It sounded delicious, when it arrived it was almost too pretty to eat. Except I was so ready to eat I practically stuffed my face. I was just so happy & if you're an avocado toast fan too. You'll get to experience that same happiness high after your first bite too. My mama ordered the Eggs Benedict, it's one of her favorite things to order & she absolutely loved the breakfast potatoes. Also shoutout to the guys working for making our breakfast outing an enjoyable one. Great customer service & positive encounters like these makes going out fun. I'll definitely need to come back again to try a few more items off the breakfast & lunch menu. Until next time. XOXO, ChelsieFletcher

Dinner the other night was good vs great. I enjoyed my Caesar salad with fresh grilled fish and my husband had the ribs and thought they were just ok. My son had the hamburger and also thought it was ok so they only got a three star for dinner this time. But for breakfast... they no longer have the buffet which we were disappointed but after seeing the menu and getting our food, they hit a five for us. I ordered loco moco and it was wonderful. Nice light gravy and sweet onions. A bit of furikaki in the rice and two eggs and two hamburger patties. Hubby had the avocado toast and it was beautiful and tasty. They blister the tomatoes which gives it extra flavor. Shielo, our server, was sweet and pretty perfect.

Got our free Westin cup and have gotten it refilled here many times. Always fun to chat with and get our drinks filled up!

We didn't have reservations and upon arriving at the host stand, the female hostess was snobby and did not want to help us and instead, the male host sat us down at a communal table with ottermans for seats. We didn't feel like crouching down to eat so I went back to ask if we could sit at the bar. We moved to the bar and ordered from the bartender; I got the lobster roll and my husband ordered the poke nachos. We realized there was a musician playing and wanted to move closer to the music. So I decided to go back to the host stand and ask if we could get on the list for a table close to the musician. The female host proceeded to snob me WHILE she drinks from her hydroflask. The male host stated to me that since we ordered our food already, we are not allowed to sit on a table since those tables have servers too. He also had an attitude. I asked very nicely and felt that they thought I was interrupting their deep conversations. The male host reluctantly stated that the tables open up after 9:30pm. Management really needs to school these two on how to talk to guests with more respect. This was on 11/14/25, approx. 8pm. As local kama'aina, we expected more but those two failed miserably. After we finished eating our food, we closed out our tab and moved by the musician. Needless to say, we were nicely greeted by a waitress who asked if she can get us anything. This place could be so much more but our experience with the front of the house was enough for us to not return during our trip. On the flip side, the lobster roll was really good whereas the poke nachos was okay. There's so much more dining options within the Westin's vicinity with great service AND food, like Leilani's Beach Bar (at Leilani's on The Beach) so we would not recommend this place BUT if you want a good lobster roll, this is the place to have it.

Our waiter took our order, never brought my wife's glass of wine; then after we had waited 25 minutes without getting anything, he stopped by to ask us how things were going so far. We were baffled: "We haven't received any food or drinks yet." Another 10 minutes later, he showed up again, apologized and said the restaurant's manager had said their order-entry system had gone down and that our order would be one of the first to go in w/the tech running again. Then another 25 minutes passed, other tables got their food, and we sat empty-handed. Two of our party finally complained to multiple staff; our waiter said to calm down and that our food would be ready in another 10 minutes (seriously?); and very soon thereafter, our food finally arrived. No apologies from the restaurant, no follow-up on why the order took another half-hour after their system was allegedly running again, no sign of our appetizers or wine. We were OK w/those last details because after waiting more than an hour, we were ready to leave. Our order finally arrived more than an hour after we had placed it, and the food was fine. After the meal, I asked three employees if I could speak with the manager; each was evasive or said he's hard to reach. Finally, our waiter claimed (no idea whether this is true) that they had no more kitchen staff, the owner was cooking all the food, and the restaurant was due to close in the next few days. That was in late December 2025, so if Kitchen 5315 is still open in 2026, save yourself the misery and avoid this restaurant!

It was actually kinda busy for 9pm. Folks at the bar and a few tables. It was seat yourself though so we grabbed a spot and our waiter came within a couple minutes to greet us and bring waters. I already knew what I wanted: TROPICAL MAHI RICE BOWL: mahi filet over a bed of rice with slaw, mango salsa, poblano sauce, sour cream, cilantro & lime. The mahi was grilled and delicious!! I asked for a side of hot sauce and that completed the dish. Absolute !! The service was really great, I enjoyed Michael and his conversation. He was so interesting and definitely made the experience 5 for us. The other thing I really appreciated about Happy Fish is that they didn't bust your wallet. The prices were competitive and because of that, I'll definitely be back. I saw they have a happy hour menu too 9-11pm, I'm going to try that before I leave along with black light bingo Wednesday nights!!
