Very disappointing experience. The customer service was unpleasant. When I politely asked if there was a bathroom, the staff member interrupted me mid-sentence to say, "Can you finish your order at the kiosk because it didn't come through." After completing the order, I asked again about the bathroom and was interrupted a second time with, "Do you want me to finish?" She then took a deep breath and asked, "What's your question?" The interaction felt rude and dismissive. Unfortunately, the drinks didn't make up for it. The boba was mushy and overcooked, which ruined the texture. A new boba spot opened in Lahaina...you definitely know I had to go and try it! Of course, I did not get the boba.. lol. However, I did get the K-Style Snow with mochi, soybean powder, condensed milk, and azuki beans on the side. I was very excited to see milk snow on the menu and I had to try it. The milk snow was not too sweet and the flavors of the condensed milk, mochi, and soybean powder complemented each other well. Not too add, the azuki beans gave it a great texture. I was very excited to try this place. I was met with the most horrible customer service from the older lady working the front register. I was looking at the menu which has a section for milk teas. I was looking for a strawberry milk tea on that section and didn't see it. I asked the lady if they had a strawberry milk tea, she then doesn't say a word to me but instead makes the most dramatic gesture to the section that says fruit lattes and on the very bottom of it they have strawberry milk tea. I told her that it was confusing because it was under the latte menu. Doesn't say a word. It is not my fault that your menu doesn't have the items listed in the correct spot. I have never been there before. I wish I could get my tip back and I will not be going again. The strawberry milk tea tasted very artificial so I wouldn't recommend but the agar boba was good. We actually ordered smoothies instead of boba, a mango and a pineapple. The pineapple was my favorite, so refreshing during a hot afternoon. I also tried the coffee bean cake which I'd never seen before. Tasty little coffee bean shaped cakes in a convenient take home cup! I'd give a 2 out of 5 stars because the boba was alright, I think it's because I've had a better tasting boba and a better experience at other boba places. The guy at the register wasn't friendly, as if he had no experience in customer service at all, don't think he should be at the point of service. I get that this place just opened up and it's probably still in the works but I think with offering food and drink items it'd make sense to offer a table with their chairs so customers are more inclined to find the place more comfortable than picturesque. Just when I was thinking "I should learn how to make bingsu at home because there's nowhere to get it in maui," something I miss from the mainland and even Oahu, I come back from vacation (where I also made a point to get bingsu) and see the signs for this place opening up by Ross!!! I've been so excited for them to open these past few weeks! The milk snow is LEGIT. I went somewhere else here on Maui that advertised having bingsu but it was regular shaved ice.. the first time I ordered the mango milk snow with mochi, and it was perfection. The mango was the perfect ripeness! And the milk snow is so creamy and soft. It's a little pricey compared to other places I've been, but hey, it's Hawaii, and it's the ONLY place in Hawaii making bingsu, and they really pack it full of toppings! the owner lady (I'm guessing) is super nice! I came here for the second time, and ordered the strawberry milk snow with mochi (obvs their mochi is v good and comes in v cute colors) but they forgot to put the mochi on top. I was walking back to my car and she chased after me because SHE realized they forgot it! I didn't even notice because of the huge pile of toppings on it already! So we went back to the store, they put mochi on top and gave me a little cup of extra mochi. She was so sorry, it was so sweet. They didn't have to run after me, but I appreciate the extra effort!
