TeaZenTea is located at Whaler's Village in the old Maui Matcha spot. They offer a pretty wide range of boba with a variety of toppings like fruit jelly, popping boba, salted cheese foam, and more. They have your classic milk teas, fruit teas, slushies, and more fun, unique flavors. I have been here a handful of times now and I have to say, they are one of the best spots for boba on island. What's great is the drinks are customizable from the level of sweetness, milk alternatives, to toppings. I've tried a few of their drinks like their Thai Tea, Tiger Creme Brulee, and Lava flow slushie. All tasted good, but my favorite has to be the Ube Taro Creme Brulee. It's a nice blend of flavors that isn't too sweet. I'm not sure what they put on the bottom -- I'm assuming it's the creme brulee, but it's chunky, creamy, and delicious. I think that's my favorite part and it's what made me fall in love with their drinks. The drinks only come in one size and can get pricey if you have more add ons. They do validate your parking though so I guess that can offset the $$ a little? They don't have any seating inside, but there are tables and seats readily available outside or you can take your drink and enjoy it on Ka'anapali Beach. Overall, this is a great spot for boba. I love coming here when I'm on the west side.

A perfect afternoon includes boba on the beach. I may be biased because TeaZenTea is one of my favorites Bay Area boba shops, but I was so excited to see they opened up in Maui! Located in the center of Whaler's Village, they have brought their teas, coffees, and smoothies to Lahaina. Their boba is cooked and sweetened to perfection, and their many has something for any drink craving. I ordered my usual, their strawberry matcha latte. Adjust the sweetness level to your preference and opt for regular or more ice if you're taking it to the beach.

We have this in California and the teas are good. But the matcha drinks we tried aren't so good. The staff is really helpful and kind. They were very accommodating with my drink requests. It's a small but good vibes boba shop in the whalers village.

This dragonfruit tea must be 1000% sugar. Way too sweet I could not drink it. I asked for a cup of just ice so I can hopefully dilute it. So I opened the door and dropped the cup. The cup cracked and all the ice jumped out. I asked for another cup. It was given. It was still too sweet. I feel like I need to divide this into 3-4 cups of ice, then add water to the 3-4 cups of ice to dilute it. I give them an extra star for service, willing to give me ice cups even though they didn't look too thrilled about it. I did tip them (bought 3, which 2 were for my kids) beforehand. I would be really upset if they weren't accommodating and I've already tipped.

Love this place in the heart of whalers village. Just like the boba shops back in California. Made to order and made just right. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Tried a drink daily and was pleasantly surprised each day that it was made just right and the boba was the right sweetness and texture.

Mango Sticky Rice and Mango Milk Blended

I've tried so many drinks at TeaZenTea Maui -- from the creamy Crème Brûlée to the Crème Brûlée Ube Horchata, and every single one has been amazing! They have such a wide variety of drinks and flavors to choose from, and their Strawberry Matcha Latte is definitely a favorite. But let me tell you... the new Mango Sticky Rice drink is so addicting! It's the perfect mix of sweet, creamy, and tropical -- an absolute must-try! Highly recommend this boba shop -- hands down the best one on Maui!

Paid by card. TeaZenTea is located inside of Whalers Village, downstairs near the food court. There is a parking garage and nearby parking for a fee depending on the length of time you stay. I went here a couple times in one week and both times there were 3 people ahead of me but the line went fast. The first time I went here I got the green milk tea with boba, 0 sugar, and the second time I went here I got the peach tea with boba, 0 sugar. Both were delicious! They are on point with their boba and drinks. I would definitely recommend this place and would go back.

Prices here are pricey! A boba drink will get you closer to 8-10 which is steep compared to drinks in LA. The drink was good though. It's a pretty good spot.

One of my favorite places to get boba when I'm in Maui. Glad it's close by Ka'anapali beach club. I would always get Thai tea with cheese foam. Might try something new next time. The people really helped. The ambiance was nice & close to other stores in whalers.

The strawberry matcha was my very first taste on what @teazentea.maui has to offer. I must say I fell in love with this fun red & green combo. That I definitely need to come back to sample more of their menu. I wonder what other matcha items they have that I need to add to my to-do list? Anyways, until next time. XOXO, ChelsieFletcher

Since I was in the area, I wanted to get something to drink. I've been here before and I've tried the Ube Creme Brûlée. Today I ordered the Tiger Creme Brûlée. The drink is very delicious. The honey boba was nice and soft. Wish there was a closer one in the central area of Maui.

Perfect drink for a hot day in Maui. I was kind hesitate to get a drink here but actually turn out to be good. I had mango green tea with lychee jelly and it was delicious

The dragonfruit chia bowl was pretty good, just the ratio of the actual dragonfruit (puree) and chia pudding was about a spoonful of each in comparison to the actual fresh fruit. It was really off. The grand slap was basic with overcooked scrambled eggs, plain potatoes that tasted frozen from a bag, and dry toast. It didn't come with butter or jelly so we asked for some. The pancake was okay. We did ask if there was another kind of syrup available other than the maple syrup that was there at the table. Our server offered us coconut syrup which was brought out ice cold. On top of that there was a $3 charge for it which the server didn't mention and I didn't see it listed on the menu. The mushroom scramble was also dry and plain. I had high hopes for this place, seeing that the restaurant itself looks bright and inviting, but unfortunately the food overall was less than mediocre.

Beautiful views, incredible food, and surprisingly family-friendly!…read more While visiting Maui, we made a reservation at The Plantation House, and it ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip. The setting alone is stunning--overlooking the Kapalua golf course with gorgeous ocean views--but the food absolutely lived up to the scenery. We started with a fresh house salad, which was simple but perfectly dressed and a great way to kick things off. For entrées: * My husband ordered the short rib, which was incredibly tender and rich with flavor. The sauce paired perfectly with the creamy mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. * My oldest son had the prime rib, and it was cooked beautifully with a great sear and topped with asparagus and a flavorful butter. * I chose the shrimp scampi, which was buttery, garlicky, and packed with shrimp. The pasta was coated in the most delicious creamy sauce and even came with toasted bread to soak up every bit of it. * My younger two ordered from the kids menu--the kids short rib and butter-and-cheese fettuccini--and both plates were generous and surprisingly elevated for kids' meals. Everything we ordered came out looking beautiful and tasting just as good. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the whole experience felt relaxed but still upscale. If you're visiting Maui and want a spot that delivers great food, amazing views, and works well for families, The Plantation House is absolutely worth the reservation.

We arrived right around sunset, and honestly wished we had come a little earlier to fully take it in. Such a gorgeous setting. The service was amazing. Our server was incredibly kind and kept offering us more bread (which I happily accepted because it was that good). The bread came with chive butter that was so flavorful, and the bread itself was warm and delicious. There was also live music, which made the ambience even better--just an all-around beautiful place to relax and enjoy a meal. Bonus points for free valet, which made parking super easy. For food, we got the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi, which was really good, slightly on the sweeter side, but still flavorful. The Hawaiian short ribs were a standout for me: super tender, perfectly cooked, and just packed with flavor. We also ordered the panko crusted calamari, which I loved. The pieces were thick, juicy, and had a light, crispy coating that wasn't greasy at all, really easy to eat. Portions were also very decent. I also saw their breakfast menu and now I definitely want to come back to try it soon!
