This review is based on my overall experience last night. I've had better experiences. It was busy, and although that's not uncommon, it was much slower than "normal." I don't have any complaints about the food I was served. I opted for a loaded potato and it was really good. They did not skimp on the toppings, particularly the cheese, which is a plus for me. My son had the deli club and chips and he ate it all. An order was messed up at the table next to us but they appeared to handle it well. The ice cream machine needed to be checked because the ice cream was too liquid for a cone. This visit was just a bit disappointing for me, overall. Plus, the value is not what it once was (thanks to inflation). I'll still go back as it's one of those places my son and I go for an affordable "dinner date." I can't believe I've never done a review on this Jason's Deli location. How did THAT happen??!! I've been here a number of times. Each time I've gone, it's been a great experience. From the salad bar, to the sandwiches, everything tastes great. They use good quality items, and the servings are plentiful. The salad bar selection is HUGE and a meal in and of itself, if that's what you are looking for. Their menu is huge so it's a great place to go if everyone in your group wants something different. They even have a calorie count for their meals so there's no guessing! What?! During the "pandemic environment", they appear to still be serving the salad bar, but you tell them what you want and they serve you rather than you going to get it yourself. They are doing social distancing, etc., but you are able to dine in if you choose, and, of course, they are doing pickup, and have a drive thru area if that's what you want to do. Don't buy the Reuben sandwich! This location provides half the meat that the Citi Place location adds to the sandwich. The meat added to the sandwich was entirely stringy, fatty and full of gristle. They did not provide a pickle as usual Jason's Deli procedure. The chips, even though the bag said expire by August 23, were stale. We tried to eat the sandwiches, but gave up after 2 or 3 bites. We had lunch here today and the lady that took our order was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. My granddaughter got the lobster bisque and a salad bar. She said her bisque was good was only lukewarm not hot which was the same for my chili. My chili was tasty but needed to be heated up more so I don't know what was up with the soups. I had a half of the pot roast it was ok but was so plain it was meat and cheese only, I thought it would b dressed but nope it was plain. I LOVE the manager's special, and that it's available every day of the week. You can even customize your side salad and they don't blink an eye when you make it complicated! We love ordering from Jason's. The unit favorite seems to be the Club Royale or the Cali Club. Fruit cups are delicious, side salads are very large, everything is perfect, and they've never messed up an order! Also if you pick up in the store, they're happy to give you an ice cream cone for your way out. Jason's would like for groups to order online, which would be great, but the two times we've attempted to use it, we haven't been successful in getting it to work! It could be so simple - one person could put in all of the orders with payment info for each... instead they want an email to go to each individual, and for that person to create their own log-in and enter their own payment info - not an awesome plan for busy hospital staff! When we called the last time we ordered, they insisted we use the online ordering system. We called back in desperation 25 minutes later when we couldn't figure out how to get it to work and the manager was able to input our orders for us (they were down to only one register). I am hoping they can fix the online ordering soon. read more

Overall, I would suggest going any time you want a decent meal for a decent price. I enjoyed this place a lot more than I expected. I always enjoy a place where you can get a good baked potato. I always get the Spud au Broc. It is big potato covered in broccoli and cheese soup. I was initially sad when I couldn't find it on the menu, but the lady at tye register assured me they still had it, so be sure to ask if you don't see your favorite thing on the menu. I also like that they had free ice cream, that was the perfect treat to round out a pleasant lunch. I know I will be back because there are still more sandwiches to try. read more
