Ordered online and came in to pick up. Still had to wait. Added mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, mustard and an extra pickle spear and paid for the extra spear and mushrooms. However there was not a lot of mushrooms, the meat was on top of the cheese, it had a vinegary taste to it and I didn't add that to the sandwich, both pickle spears were missing and so were the tomatoes!!!!! It seems like the only way I can get a sub made right is of the manager makes it. Ugh read more

Went for the first time today and will never go back! I paid over $20 plus tip for a meal. Got back to work and they had given me the exact opposite of what I ordered. I ordered the pizza meatball sub. I got a Mayo slathered mystery meat sandwich. May as well have just taken my hard earned money and flushed it down the toilet. Zero stars read more

I love firehouse subs, so I went with my kid to get the Firehouse Captain Club. Service was great. The place was clean. I have had this sub before, but this time my kid and I agreed there was something off with the vegetables. Just bad, very bad. read more

Haven't been to a firehouse sub in a while.. they had great service and awesome attitude..

SO RUDE!!!! got here 20 minutes before close and i stood at the counter for 17 minutes before they said they had no one to ring us up.

I ordered two off the triple stacks with additional lettuce, cheese and pickles along with jalapeños on my husbands and wheat bread. They did not fix the sandwiches how they were supposed to come much less with the additional fixings... I love Firehouse and we don't get to go there often. We usually eat at the Firehouse in Denham. This was my 1st time in Baton Rouge. I am SO DISAPPOINTED!!! Didn't even get a pickle!!! read more

This was my first time trying Firehouse Subs. After hearing so many great things about the restaurant, I was disappointed. The service was so incredibly slow that the process of getting a salad took about 20 minutes. The workers were not kind or courteous. The atmosphere was not inviting. My salad was a disappointment. It looks pretty in the photo but for nearly $10 it left much to be desired. The veggies were almost frozen-like. I even had to go back up to the counter to get a fork and napkins. read more

So good oh so very, very good!! Haven't been to firehouse subs in a long time. Really need one in Walker (hint hint) I've really missed this place. Not only are you supporting firemen and women but these sandwiches are the best. Subway who? Plus we always get their 5 gallon buckets which also go towards fire station equipment. Highly recommend firehouse subs over any other around here. read more

Very friendly staff. Were greeted right when we walked through the door. They always have good quality food. I really liked the turkey they have. Last time we went, I tried the potato soup and it was really good! It's always really clean inside as well! read more

It's Always good and always fast .... Kinda like what a Firefighter should be ... Lol! .

The sandwiches are always delicious but the service needs some help. These people hate their life.

The food here is the best. My personal favorite. I'm never disappointed.Whenever I want a Sub this place is my go to

I didn't expect much with a sandwich place, but it did not disappoint! I got the oven roasted Turkey and it was so good! One thing I did not like was that the bread was kind of soggy at the ends because of the Mayo. My friends got the Italian sub and the firehouse meatball sub. The medium size was perfect! It got all of us super full. We ordered it through the app and only probably had to wait about 10 minutes for it to be ready. You can also dine in still! read more

the price for a large combo brisket sandwich went up to $20.88 for a sandwich and chips and drink that is ridiculous will never eat at firehouse subs again read more

This was my 1st time going to this business I passed by multiple times so after seeing the commercials on TV I wanted a Steak and cheese sub and I wasn't disappointed the food was fix fast and just like I wanted it and the staff was very professional and courteous. First and most likely last time I'll order from here. Got the large Philly cheesesteak sub and side of potato soup. The sandwich was huge and filled with meat. Too much mayo and THERE WAS NO CHEESE on my sandwich. Potato soup did not have a good flavor and was " gummy". You could only taste onion. I did get a brownie for dessert that tasted nice. Overall, average food for a high price. Meh at best. read more

I have came to this place a lot in last few years but each experience leaves me more and more pissed off paying $14 for a sandwich is one thing but when I order it before I go in and wait a hour just standing there no one even acknowledging I'm there. Then I have to flag down a manager to find the sandwich just sitting on a machine. Is just absolutely ridiculous it's the last straw for me. Get it together I'm not sure what happened to the people who used to work here but it's a joke now don't waste your money. read more

The sandwiches are good for the money, but I really only eat here when they're on MajorMenus at my job. The past 2 times, I've gotten refunds because my order is NEVER right. I don't ask for many changes, only for certain things to be left off the sandwich. They're usually still there but the sandwich will be missing something else. The chips and drink I select, I never get. The other location we used to order from has closed, and I'm guessing this one won't be far behind. read more

I've been asking friends and family about firehouse subs and I've heard mix reviews. So I've been putting off going. Well, I went today and I wish I wouldn't have waited! The restaurant is is VERY clean, roomie, clean. The decor is of different type of fire equipment. The restaurant even gives children little red fire hats. I only had interaction with one of the employees, I believe she was the manager because she was dressed different from the other employees. Anyway, she was very helpful, fast and a very nice person. She answered all questions. The food was AWESOME!!! I had the firehouse hero. The firehouse hero had roast beef, smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted provolone on it. It was the BEST sub I've ever had!!! I definitely will be going back!!! read more

My co-worker and I have been walking past this building waiting for it to open for some time now. Today we noticed people inside and they had a letter on the door stating they were training. The owner noticed us looking and asked if we would like to come in and allow his worker to get some training with lunch was on him. UM YEA WE DO!! So we came in and placed our order and the place looked like it was up and running smoothly. The restaurant seemed to be very well organized and clean as well. Also, I do realize this is the first day but WOW these people are so nice! I would have to say Customer Service was an A+. Now for the food. I order a Club on a Sub while my co-worker got the Hook and Ladder. WE both were very satisfied with the food which was hot and delicious! Club on a Sub- Smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, pepper bacon, and melted Monterey Jack, served Fully Involved. Loaded complete with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side. Each time I go I try something new. Like other reviewers have said the place is spacious, clean and almost always a place to sit. I found it a bit odd that the self serve drink dispesnser is at the back of the restaurant, everyone one I've been into is setup this way. I always like to get some sort of italian salami type sub with provolone cheese. The sandwhiches are always filling and I never need to get the full length ones, the half size is good enough for me and I'm a big guy too. I've had the pastrami and the corned beef hot subs, both I can highly recommend. Each location has a fine selection of hot sauces as well. I'd like to see this place employ more people from the firefighting community to be a regular part of their restaurant experience to keep it original and not just capitalizing on the whole idea of firefighters starting a restaurant. Nonetheless it's another fresh take on a common theme of two pieces of bread and what you can put between them and present in a welcoming / fun environment in which to consume it all at a price you can live with. read more

This was once my favorite go-to place in Baton Rouge for a health and delicious meal. I loved the salads!! The delicious meats here easily made this the best place to go for subs & salads. I was a regular and spoke with the manager on most visits, just to compliment the food and staff. However, the last 3 times I bought salads here, they got progressively worst. The lettuce was withered and/or rotten. I let it pass the first time, as a small amount was withered/browning. Thought It was just an off day. The next time, a bit worst but it was night and I thought perhaps it was just nearing the end of the day, etc. But my third and last visit was just too much. Not even that it was the third time (which was bad enough), but even more the entire salad was inedible! The entire bed of lettuce was brown, withered, no good, and should not have been served to anyone. Unfortunately I got it to go and didn't see the salad until I arrived home. I called the store and was hung up on after asking for a manager, I assumed it was an accident. I called back, spoke to a male employee who stated no manager was there. I left a message with him, asking that he have his manager call me back. I'm still waiting... it's been a couple of months. Again, I was fond of the manager here, and the food, so I've put off writing this review in hopes that I'd one day get a call so that this could be discussed privately. But, no such luck. They have lost a very loyal customer. And if this is how salads have been served regularly, I'm sure I'm not the only one. Sadly, I'd not recommend this location to anyone, and it pains me to say it. I have it 2 stars only because it was once a good place to eat. read more

Been here quite a few times now and the subs are pretty good. Not the best I've had but consistent enough to keep me coming back. What I really want to highlight is the service every time I visit. Service is always on point and I'm always greeted immediately when coming in and helped out until I leave. Good reflection on management. read more

Very well clean location! The staff is always super welcoming and of course always talk to us about the game day coming up. This is best place to swing by after work specially by this point when they know my order and also choose to recommend some really awesome ideas. read more

It's been 3 years since my last bad review at this location, I normally only rate restaurants for being really good or really bad. After 3 years, this location is worse. It takes 15 min to get your sandwich after ordering and it's poorly put together, and sometimes cold. There's a a lot of hootin and hollering behind the counter, they're more interested in having fun that getting a quality sandwich out. It's a shame because I really like Firehouse subs and this one is close to my house but I'm done here. This owner does not care about his location. Btw, just a tip, the yelling of "welcome to firehouse" when walking in the door is not great to hear over and over and over while you're eating.... please reconsider this for other locations read more

Nasty food, disgusting interior, the workers were rude, and the workers messed up my order

I placed a to-go order in-store for three sandwiches. My first visit was great. Cashier was helpful in describing toppings and taking my order. The staff was friendly and very generous with toppings. The bread was superb. The meatballs were excellent. Real meat, no soy protein. Marinara was perfect I also ordered an Italian and Steak & Cheese sub. Again, liberal portions, fresh, fast and delicious. read more

I really wanted to like this place bc it was only a few min from my house. But the bread of my Togo order of Steak and cheese and club on a sub were all soggy when I got home. I think they steam the bread but microwave the meat for their "hot sub". You can see them draining the juices of the sandwich meat on wax paper before putting it on the sandwich, if you stand to the side of the counter. It doesn't look very appetizing and made the steak chewy and tough. read more

Just went here for lunch with my parents! We got the meatball sub and hero sub and both were great tasting and freshly made. The large meatball was more than enough to feed my mom and I (we still have half left). Also, the cashier was friendly and when the guy brought us our subs I made a comment how we were splitting and he offers to bring us another basket and even included forks and knives to cut the sub. Later, when I needed a to go box, another dude was really nice in getting it. Overall, better than Subways for sure and super friendly workers, which I appreciated so much I wrote this review! read more

The food was good, but the staff seemed a little disorganized. They were very nice, though!!

This is the first time I can say that I was dissatisfied with Firehouse Subs. I have been eating and enjoying the New York Steamers, since my first visit to a Firehouse Subs Restaurant in Jacksonville in 1995. So, I was more than delighted when I noticed the Seigen Lane location; and one in Katy, Texas. They all have always lived up to a great reputation of good food, cleanliness, and fast friendly service. Well until this week: I came in Wednesday to the Seigen location and noticed that the men's bathroom was out of service; again today, the men's bathroom is still out of service and the ladies room was dirty. There was no ice in the drink machine and when I mentioned it the employee just showed me another place to get ice - ice hasn't been added to the machine that was out and I have finished eating. Now to my real reason to post: This is the first time that I have ever been dissatisfied with food at Firehouse Subs; the sandwich was cold, dry, and difficult to swallow. The Steamers have always been Hot and Juicy. I'm wondering if this location is under new management. I notice that the wonderful picture of the owner and family is still in place. I hope that You can bring this restaurant back to the reputation that Firehouse Subs has always had. Thank You for Your time and kind consideration. Faithfully, James read more

It's good, just a little bit high priced for a sandwich. The bread was amazing, well actually it all was amazing, just a little too much sauce. They also have a Freestyle soda machine, which is always fun. The sides are limited, but the sandwich is supposed to be the star, anyways. If you're willing to spend $10 on a sandwich and chips, give it a try because it's tasty. read more

First time coming to this restaurant in 3 years and it was worth the wait! The facility was very clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I forgot to ask for extra olives because I have a little obsession right now and they added it no problem. It was about $9 for a regular sub, cookie and medium drink. A little more expensive then subway, but I thought it tasted better. read more

Food great as always. The blonde .. guessing the manager .. very sarcastic. Customer service could be better (just her) actually everyone else had great customer service. I'll be going to the Gonzales location , thanks read more

The sandwich was pretty good but I found the customer service lacking. My husband and I each ordered a sandwich and sat down to wait for it to be made. When we got our food, we realized that they had messed up our order. They made my sandwich and with the toppings my husband ordered and vice versa. It took them awhile to grasp the concept when we explained it to them. And then instead of remaking our sandwiches, they just simply switched the toppings on the sandwiches and sloppily put them back together. It was disappointing. read more
