I had the pleasure of eating Jersey mikes today my sandwich was pretty good I got a #13 Mike's way. I love a good wet sandwich! The meat always tastes fresh but I'm writing about the experience today.. There's no reason why I should walk into this establishment and feel like I'm in the club and hear Plies blasting in the background while I'm waiting for my sandwich. I could barely hear the person I was talking to on the phone. Even had to speak up a bit while checking out.. There's work acceptable music and then there's music you play at home. Plies should be played at home, the club or maybe during your clean up after hours. Even mentioned a Summer Walker playlist next.. We have to do better and be professional. So disappointing. Ordered my sandwich before grocery shopping. Get to Jersey Mikes later than my order was supposed to be ready. No sandwich. Wait 20 minutes, no sandwich. People ordering sandwiches in the line getting their hot orders ahead of me. After 35 minutes asked for a refund. No communication from staff. 4 stars for the friendliness of the entire staff and how clean the space was, as well as helpful seeing this was my first time here. I came with my husband for lunch as this is one of his favorite lunch spots near work. I was asked if white bread was ok, I guess they had others but was out? Not sure, never been here. My husband got his hot sandwich, BBQ! He orders the giant and eats on it throughout the day and sometimes even has leftovers for a late night snack. I ordered a #4, I don't remember the other meat in it other than the ham but omg that thing was spicy, I had to take it off and throw it away. That's on me, not them! As far as taste went for me I give it a 6/10 Amount of meat 5/10 (get more from subway) To much bread and not enough meat for me. I personally didn't care for this place. I hate to do this review. But I was the only one in the shop on Tuesday at 4pm. The Taller older black lady, who seems sweet as pie and lovely. Just cannot seem to get the order right after 5 times asking. She still didn't get the order right, but I said nothing to avoid any type of confrontation over a friggin sandwich. If I could give this place a 3.5, I would. It's not a bad sub place. It's a simple ordering system. They don't toast your bread like subway, it's simply just cold subs. They have a special way they make it that kind of makes them stand apart from Subway. They add something called "the juice" and it's red wine vinegar and an olive oil blend. It's pretty good and I would get it again but I would just ask for less of the juice. The way they did it made my bread soggy! I like how much they stuffed the meat. It's definitely more than how Subway does it. The workers were kind. It costs about $15 for a drink and a bag of chips with the regular club sub. We got chipotle mayo and Buffalo on the side as well -- pretty good with the chipotle sauce but I liked it with just the mayo and juice inside! They also have a seasoning that's included in the Mikes way that I liked as well! I wanted to try their in house root beer, but the soda machine was out of the syrup and the ice was kind of low. I wish they had coke in their machine as well but I opted with Pepsi! It's a nice place to go to when you're just coming out of a workout and just want to get a quick bite. read more

My grandson and I had lunch at this location yesterday. It was not a pleasant experience. One out of the three ladies working the line was very nice the other two were very rude. My grandson even said to me, he's 10, that he thought they were ugly to us. I asked the lady at the cash register a question and she just gave me a very strange look with no answer, I also asked for a cup for water and she just pointed to the cup. I went here about 2pm on a Friday afternoon. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap on a wheat wrap. There were a few people in there, a couple ahead of me and a few who came in behind me. I wasn't aware that they would actually cook my chicken while I was there. The four ppl who ordered behind me got their food before me, and they never really explained that it was because those people ordered just cold cuts, and my dish was going to be cooked on site. So 15 minutes later, i got my food. I do have to say, it was a very good wrap. I also treated myself to the chips and drink. While I'm not sure it was worth the $12+ i paid, it was a good experience overall, and I will give it another shot. A nice alternative to the usual choices out there. read more

Just tried the new location on Bluebonnet Blvd in Baton Rouge and it was great. The crew was sharp and friendly and the sandwiches were delicious. My wife enjoys the #17 steak and cheese ( no onions or peppers please) and her order was prefect. I get the #56 big kahuna this time without the hot peppers and it was good also. We went to Jersey Mikes in Denham Springs recently and was very disappointed. I ordered our sandwiches from their app. We added our sandwiches with chips and the extras for the sandwiches. When we brought it home my sandwich did not have any extras like lettuce or tomato or mayo which I asked for. Plus the bread was so stale and hard I could've used it as a hammer. I called Jersey Mikes and they graciously refunded us. No, I will not go back to the DS store. There are lots of restaurants in DS who will be more than happy to have our business. read more

The employees do a super job of working together when they are busy to keep to line moving on! The owners are hands on. All the staff keep checking with the diners to make sure all is going well and everyone is satisfied. They have a wide variety of unique meats and additions that make up their sandwiches. They pile the meats high on a very tasty poboy bread. They offer a very quality product at a fair price. My buddies and I dine there at least once a week and it's always great. Tired and hungry didn't want to wait 30 minutes or more for a table at a real restaurant so went here for a sandwich. Nobody in the place was wearing a mask but me. Employees were not wearing masks either but at least were wearing gloves. Gloves that they didn't change while preparing food, handling money, answering phones, writing orders, and touching other stuff in the place. Left without the food. Really great sandwiches. Very fair prices. Friendly staff. Fast service. It's a bit far from my house or I would eat there more often.

The sandwiches were good, but that's not what I had the problem with. The staff working that night were rude and loudly using profanity to explain other customers. I came in around 8:30. I understand that's 30 minutes before closing, but that offered me and my boyfriend to eat quickly for 15 mins and still get out before closing. Also, 4 other people came in after us so it wasn't that they were waiting on us to close. Anyway, after my boyfriend and I sat to eat our sandwiches, I immediately heard the 3 girls talking about how they wished people would have "the common sense" to not come in 30 mins before a restaurant closes. Then they proceeded to explain how glad they were that a certain woman didn't come in so late (apparently as she usually does) They loudly used the F bomb frequently to describe their annoyance with people coming in so close the closing. I try to understand how they felt, but I worked in the service industry and I never made customers feel like an inconvenience for wanting to get a yummy sandwich. read more

The young man, who helped me kind of seemed annoyed, but had to be cordial to me (know what I mean?). I read people very well and know when I'm not wanted. It did not keep me from ordering. What I couldn't stand was the coldness from that young man. What is it with places nowadays... do you not give proper customer service training? I get it, there are just some things you can't train a person to do. I barely felt welcome there... totally fake. The same young man who took my order was the same one who cooked it rang me up afterward. Why do you put people like this in the front-of-house. I rarely like to write anything negative, unless I really had a negative experience. Can I say I'll be back? Eh, probably not. I don't like sandwiches a whole lot and with District Donuts a couple doors down serving amazing burgers, this place isn't worth returning to.
