Staff was friendly and helpful , restaurant was clean, and most of the salad options were fresh. The Crawfish Pepperjack soup was delicious.

Literally been waitering from this place for like 3 weeks straight . First off it's healthy. Second off they have so many different toppings to choose from and wow it's at a great price. Plus when they make the salad for you it's so organized and pretty. There's few people that actually will Waitr where I work. And not healthy. So I'm so glad they do

Absolutely love the Salad Station. Tons of fresh options to make your salads as healthy or as decadent as you wish. There are so many selections of fresh veggies and lettuce choices as well as numerous freshly made prepared salads from potato to tuna salad. There are tons of freshly prepared homemade salad dressings as well as fresh fruit and a hot potato and soup bar to supplement your salad as well as other hot bar options like roast chicken and cooked veggies. I also love the fact that much of the produce is locally grown and the farmers are prominently displayed in a large mural on the wall that greets you as walk in.

    Literally drowning in dressing

First and last time ordering from here. I ordered online for pick up. I ordered a wrap....I figured it would be a good size since it was $9.00. Not only was it half the size I was expecting, whoever made it completely DROWNED it in dressing. Made it pretty much inedible. My co-worker picked up our food order, so I didn't see this until after.....so if it wasn't for that, and the fact that I was starving, I would've brought it back. *Update.....scratch that. I couldn't finish the other half of my wrap because the amount of dressing made me sick to my stomach.

OMG. The variety of produce was insane!!!! When I walked through the doors, the instantly greeted me and told me how this shop works. I was floored by the different types of lettuce and toppings. Since they weigh your finished salad I got to choose so many options. I had lettuce, beets, artichokes, corn, pasta salad, beans, cucumbers, picked okra and olives. Fantastic!!!! I can't wait to go back to this location!!!

    Salad, baked chicken, green beans

I go to Salad Station at least twice a week. I usually get their food from their hot bar, which is AMAZING!! The baked chicken and green beans is to die for. I gave them 4 stars because their hot bar can be a little inconsistent sometimes. Some days the green beans don't have potatoes in them and one day they were out completely. I love their green beans so I don't play about them...lol. Also they sometimes don't have chicken out, but other than that I love their hot bar. I've only gotten salad twice. Another thing is you have to pay attention when they are ringing your food up to make sure they are charging the correct price for whatever you have. For example: the hot bar is a cheaper price per pound than the salad bar and on a few occasions, they priced my hot bar food for the salad bar price. But once I mentioned it, they immediately fixed it. Other than those few cons, this a great healthy place to eat for lunch! Plus they give you points towards free food!!

The Salad Station is hands down the best salad bar. They also have an area for hot foods as well! The salad bar is self serve but no worries, it is literally never messy. Their selection for salad toppings is absolutely amazing. The workers are always kind and friendly as well. It's consistently clean and overall, has a good environment.

I have lived in BR for 6 years now. Many departments at LSU take guests there and in that time, Building 5 has done nothing to improve its parking lot. The restaurant sits underneath an overpass and the parking is pothole marked unpaved gravel. This means that there is no room for wheelchairs or accommodations for anyone who is differently-abled to get into the restaurant. The whole restaurant makes no room for handicapped persons. On the occasion I did get food, the food is slightly overpriced. All meats were cooked adequately but the food was lukewarm probably owing to sitting in the kitchen under the heat lamp than being delivered promptly. When I have gone, I regularly have to ask for refills on soda as I am the designated driver often for department functions. Servers pay you no heed if you do not buy alcohol. Because I go here because of academic reasons, I would barely go here myself. I've been here many times and found it wanting. It's an ableist place in its infrastructure. It's fine I'm atmosphere as a cocktail bar but would little recommend it to people I call friend.

For those who don't know, this is a build your own bowl/ salad fast casual restaurant. It's great if you want something healthy and quick in a pinch. Most of the ingredients looked fresh, with the exception of a few fresh veggies that seemed like they were starting to get mushy on the bottom. They have tons of options for the base, toppings, and what looked to be at least 15 different dressings/ sauces. They offer fresh fruit, hot soups, and even a nacho bar which is cool. They also offer to chop your bowl to mix everything up a little better. The only negative feedback I have is about the price of the bowls. They're $10.99/ lb and my bowl was a little shy of halfway full, but was already there. The soups are $7.99/lb and based off of the broccoli cheddar soup we got, I would 100% NOT recommend it. It was very salty and tasted a little too much like chicken broth, lacking the entire meaning of the name. The checkout process is pretty quick as you weigh one bowl at a time. Salad Station takes Apple Pay/ tap(?) and you can earn points across all of their locations. They also offer a 10% military discount, but what was strange is that they won't apply it to the whole ticket, only one item. So the overall value of the food here is okay, but it's one of the better options in the area and it's very clean with minimal health code violations. I would return but not too often.
