My fave place these days & their super quick. The food is always fresh & seasoned well. There's little to no wait time even when it's busy. There's family friendly music playing if you sit inside, which is always kept clean. The staff if super helpful if you need assistance. I recommend downloading the app to access their rewards, which are have freebies pretty often. The rewards also add up quick! Beautiful location! My first time on Coursey. Just very big and welcoming. Plenty of seating. They had the largest selection of items at a hot bar I've seen at any location. They had soups, seasonal sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, and meatballs along with noodles which was a first time seeing those. The young ladies were helpful in getting me my gallons of lemonade. Unfortunately this locations was out of Caesar dressing and I wasn't aware until after I had made my Caesar salad BUT I LOVE the new mango dressing so I happily switched it up and grabbed a cup of that sweet deliciousness. They also had a large variety of fruit-infused alkaline waters in the smaller size which I loved! I was able to grab a few and they were perfect for on the go the next three days. read more

My second visit here was as good as the first. You pay for your food by weight. I'm not sure about the soup and hot items, as I've always just gotten salad. You serve yourself, like a salad bar. Then you weigh and pay. There is a plethora of salad toppings and dressings that surely would fit any kind of salad you are in the mood for. The service was mostly friendly. It was not busy at all the two times I went, though I imagine lunch might be their peak time. It was clean and comfortable in the restaurant. If you're craving salad or looking for a "healthier" option, this would be a good choice. I come here at least 3 times a week friendly staff and fresh toppings,I use 30 minutes of my lunch break just to go to this location.the Jefferson town center location is closer but they do a lot there to make the salads cost more like adding cream to the Italian dressing to increase the weight and also not including the tare at checkout so you're paying for the bowl too. go to the coursey location for a better experience. read more

I am a salad station connoisseur - it's one of my favorite places to eat at! I never write reviews but i felt inclined after my 2nd poor experience here. Multiple of the vegetables including lettuce were not fresh. I came over a month ago and it was the same issue. I go to Salad Station at least twice a week. I usually get their food from their hot bar, which is AMAZING!! The baked chicken and green beans is to die for. I gave them 4 stars because their hot bar can be a little inconsistent sometimes. Some days the green beans don't have potatoes in them and one day they were out completely. I love their green beans so I don't play about them...lol. Also they sometimes don't have chicken out, but other than that I love their hot bar. I've only gotten salad twice. Another thing is you have to pay attention when they are ringing your food up to make sure they are charging the correct price for whatever you have. For example: the hot bar is a cheaper price per pound than the salad bar and on a few occasions, they priced my hot bar food for the salad bar price. But once I mentioned it, they immediately fixed it. Other than those few cons, this a great healthy place to eat for lunch! Plus they give you points towards free food!! read more

Sort of like the salad bar at Whole Foods except you won't pay $$$$, donate your kidney, and give your first born for a large salad with proteins and all the fixings. The ingredients are fresh and there are so many options! I really liked the buffalo chicken and the seasoned meat was excellent. I put a *lot* on my salad including kale, spring mix, red cabbage, carrots, tomato, cucumber, Parmesan cheese, hard boiled eggs, bacon bits, buffalo chicken, grilled chicken, sliced almonds, etc etc. I kept seeing things I wanted and heaping on. Given my experience with Whole Foods I was expecting my salad to be about $18 but for two large salads, we paid around $17! They have some good strawberry lemonade as well. Don't get confused with The Salad Shop right down the street. Salad station is fresh build your own buffet style while salad shop has a worker build and chop the salad for you. If the fact that you have to build your own meal is a deal breaker, I'll just shake my head and respect. Prices are fair and based on weight. They also have a reward system that gives you free drinks, food after a certain amount of $ spent. If you're like me and enjoy a light, healthy meal, you'll be here a lot. A sweet young girl was behind the counter and explained how the process worked as well as the story of the regional chain. All produce used in the restaurants was locally grown by a family of farms and processed fresh. The choices were more than adequate (I don't understand what else one other review was asking for, but there are a mile of choices). The dressings are all locally made or stirred up here and all items were fresh. Two types of eggs? And as much as I want? Yes please!!! I finished off the meal with a bowl of the chicken dumpling soup and infused water. Eating healthy isn't cheap (all in all over $16), but neither is doctor visits. I was the only one here which should've been my cue to run like hell, but I stayed. I got a salad and soup per usual. When I opened my soup, it was cold, like, cold cold. The salad was okay, the chicken I put in it was brown in the middle and I didn't realize this until AFTER I paid for it. While I was eating the employees were discussing something on the salad bar that "wasn't appetizing" and "had been out since saturday." EW! The employees at hammond location are always so nice and talk to you, no one said a word to me the whole time and when I went to check out, the girl didn't even look up from her phone. Then you get pretty much anything you want at the salad bar. Then you pay! Pretty simple idea. I went with spring mix and romaine and added a bunch of veggies eggs and chicken. For dressings be careful, their vinaigrettes are very tart. My girlfriend got 2 and she was puckering. Naturally I had to try too and could definitely taste the vinegar with a noteworthy after taste. My wife and I stopped by for lunch. It had a lot of people in there, which to me means its doing good business. An employee could sense we were first timers and explained everything and made sure we knew where everything was. The employees were constantly cleaning the bar and kept it stocked up. This was our first trip to Salad Station. It was a pleasant one. They are on top of it, safety wise. You gotta put on gloves before you start down the LOADED salad bar. And it is LOADED. Since you're gonna be paying "by the pound", every item is included. That's avocado too. The nice thing about the bar choices is they are chopped up in genuinely "bite size" pieces. No huge rings of bell pepper or thick cucumber slices you have to cut with plastic knives. They're are also some choices on the bar that you don't see at other places: sliced chicken breasts, chicken salad, halved boiled eggs, little boiled shrimp. The dressing bottles are well designed. Dressing doesn't come out too fast and the bottles stay neat on the outside. They also have a "hot bar" which consists of soups, baked potatoes, baked chicken pieces, green beans, etc! The unsweetened tea is deep and flavorful as well. So, if you're trying to eat healthy, put The Salad Station on your "go to" quick food restaurants. You can eat in or carry out. We will go back. The kid working the salad bar rude and also cursing at his co worker in front everyone. Then proceeds to talk about his problems with him to other coworker loudly for everyone to hear. The manager did nothing. The food basically pick on salad bar. The spaghetti noodles were hanging out of container and dried up. There are a couple salad shops like this around town but the Salad Station has the best set up. They've got anything you could want for a salad plus baked potatoes and a couple soup options. At $7 per pound, the prices are very reasonable. Be sure to try the House dressing. read more

Very fresh ingredients! The tuna salad was very creamy and had good consistency. It's a little too sweet. The buffalo chicken was way too tangy and I couldn't eat. One thing that made me nervous was they piled the food way too high in the pans. This would allow the temperature to creep into the danger zone. Overall it was really good. read more
