However on this occasion I decided to try something new and ordered the fried chicken burger. Often chicken sandwiches disappoint because the breading separates or the chicken is dry - not here! The filet was juicy and tender, extremely crispy (even after having travelled via Uber), and the so delicious with the mix of chipotle maple and fresh ranch dressing. Chicken fried chicken sandwich is amaazzinnggg. Fresh ingredients & very bold flavors that you will not regret. But the shakes alone are worth the visit. This place is a prefect spot to chill and pig out on some delicious food. I had the Jam Classic with Idaho fries, my friend had The Bodega with sweet fries, and we shared a special Birthday shake. The Jam burger joint right on the Main Street of Garfield NJ. This place hasn't been open long and already I've heard a small buzz for it. Once I got to the front, their windows were open letting out sounds of hip hop music and the smell of burgers and chicken I was hooked.... I ordered the Bodega burger with sweet potato fries, along side with my meal, Jam Burger also serves these massively detailed milk shakes with a variety of contortions on each one. One thing I learned about this place, is that Jam Burger uses the same type of burger bun as Shake Shack, so that alone for sure told me the type of quality burger I was introducing to my tummy! This place has been on my list since last summer...finally got the chance to check them out. First off, it's a very small dining area and street parking only which may be tough on this particular street. Since the dining area is so small, it does get cold every time the door opens but no biggie. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the oreo milkshake. The sandwich was good but lacked a little flavor, I wish it had more of the maple glaze because that sauce was delicious however there was only a little bit on top of the chicken, the bun was very soft and yummy. The milkshake was not only pretty and picture worthy, it was also very very good. Will definitely come back to try the burgers and other milk shake options. I haven't had a good burger in awhile and decided to give this place a try for lunch. The place itself wasn't what I expected at all: it's really small, but has a hip vibe and ambiance. If you're going with a big group, good luck lol. Also, if you have a purse/bag, be ready to place it on the floor if you're sitting at one of the tables. The chairs have no backs and the tables are too small to leave it on. Now, the food. Where do I start? I ordered the classic burger, while my boyfriend ordered the chicken fried chicken sandwich. Both were ABSOLUTELY delicious! The "special sauce" and the 2 sauces on the chicken fried chicken sandwich were extremely tasty. We shared one order of Idaho fries, which were so crispy and fresh. I placed an order at 5:20pm- Saturday evening, for two burgers and two orders of fries via online. Pick up time was set btwn 5:45-6pm. I arrived at about 6pm because the parking in this area is terrible. I head inside where the "hostess" told me that my order was received but because there were a few big orders that came through- my order would be about another 20 mins. Wait.....what? I didn't complain. I went back outside to wait in my car. Because at that point there is no burger in the world that will make me happy and satisfied enough to feel like I didn't just waste an hour and 15 minutes of my time. I was over it. For starters the milk shakes at this place are literally out of this world!! I didn't get my wife a cake for her bday because I felt their milk shakes would be a creative substitute/ surprise and boy was I right! This place is bomb. I've had the chicken sandwich with one of their vanilla shakes and i fell in love. Also the sauce they put on the chicken is soo good, not sure what its called but i love it. Only reason i gave it a 4 star because things are a bit pricy but overall its a cute place. I came across this place here in yelp, i put the address in my gps and went i can't believe how many times a have pass this place having noooo idea that it existed! I mean is a tiny spot right next to a barbershop. The sign from the outside is invisible, i mean you have to know is there if you want to find it simple as that. Anyway it was really really good, the burger was made with fresh Ingredients, very tasty, we had a classic burger with fries. Super yummy, and the shake were really good something i never seen before. Super cool. Small place with Huge flavors! We ordered The Bodega, The Classic and The Jamburger with a Strawberry Short Cake, Black and White milk shake. I wish they had more options but I'm sure they'll add more in the future. It gets crowded very quickly, but then again that's a good thing. Their decor was fresh and hip even the bathroom was cool.
