Food is always good. But the customer service is top notch. I just wish they had more seating for indoor dining.

Absolutely lives up to the hype!…read more The pastrami is insanely tender like melt in your mouth kind of good. The sandwich is definitely messy, but that's how you know it's done right when its packed and stacked with meat! Even with a line out the door, the guys behind the counter cutting the meat are friendly and keep things moving. They even hand out samples while you wait, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming (and honestly makes the wait easier).

Update: I've finally tried the pastrami. The sandwiches are huge. We got the pastrami cheese…read morefries, and a corned beef reuben. The pastrami is really good and is very tender. The fries are steak fries, which I don't typically love but it worked well as a vehicle for the pastrami. The corned beef is a bit dry. We had some pierogies but these were superrrr oily. We also ordered a matzoh ball soup because I've never had it before. But the second I saw them microwave it in a plastic container, I knew I had made a mistake. It was basically just a matzoh ball in very salty chicken bouillon water. I'm sad that was my first matzoh ball soup experience but am not deterred from finding a real one elsewhere. Based on my previous visit and this one, it seems like you should just stick to a classic pastrami sandwich. It's big enough to share between two people. Next time, I'd like to dine in and eat it fresh. The sandwiches also come with a bunch of pickles, which was nice. Tip #1 - there is a parking lot but because there are so many stores and it's next to Bratek Deli, it's a nightmare. It did also happen to be Good Friday, so maybe that made it worse? I don't remember it being that bad the first time around. Tip #2 - I called ahead to place my order but still had to wait 15 minutes extra after the quoted time. They prioritize walk-in customers, so you might as well just order in store.

The lines were literally outside wrapped around the corner how the sandwiches were prepared and how unexpressive they were. The owner always had a smile regardless of this giant stand behind the counter and smiled at you it was warming. The sandwiches were ridiculously delicious. And then they sold it to someone who was trying too hard to make it rich, so the portions became small smaller, but the bread stayed the same. Let's just see if you want lettuce sandwich with a little bit of meat you go to bogey hoagie. Don't know how it is now they have a pizzeria working anymore, but I haven't been there in two years because the portions have changed regardless of who's in the White House or not. if you're gonna raise the price raise the price but don't change the portions. I personally believe that greed has ruined this establishment. The sandwiches are still good, but the portions are shit. And if you order a cheesesteak, God forbid. It's real steak but it looks like steak them in. They overcook it so it's almost like leather and God forbid you asked for onions and peppers or cheese cause you're gonna get charged extra for what a cheesesteak belongs with. I mean, the place looks nice inside, but it's a weird environment ever since it was sold. Enter at your own Will, but the portions are shit.

We ordered the meatball sandwich, the eggplant parmesan sandwich, and the chicken and rice soup. The sandwiches were incredibly tasty, with an excellent marinara sauce and great mouth feel. The bread also was amazing - I think it may have been an Aversa seeded roll. The sandwiches were huge servings, and we packed half to go. It was a cold, rainy day, so we also craved warm soup. The chicken and rice soup was probably the best I have ever had - it had a golden hue, flavorful and clear broth, and perfectly cooked rice and carrots, with just the right amount of tender white meat chicken. That soup was so delicious that we ordered another serving to go. Nick's strikes us as a family business, where they take great pride in their homemade recipes and treat everyone like family. The guy who took our order, brought our food, and interacted with us was so friendly, genuinely kind, and helpful. We also noticed that he was equally friendly to all customers. This is a terrific sandwich shop. Highly recommend.

The steak was very tender, juicy and the chimi sauce enhanced the flavor. Bread was fresh and toasted. I liked the skirt steak sandwich the best, it's not cheap but the ingredients are high quality so it's worth it as a treat. If you're in the area and want fresh, made to order sandwiches, I would recommend Nick's. * Parking on premise * gender neutral restroom
