Such a beautiful and cozy cafe. Loved the ambiance and staff were really nice too. Tried their iced caramel latte, it was decent. Definitely be going again. Lovely spot to hangout.

We stopped in here for a beverages and pastries prior to heading back to Seattle. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The establishment is HUGE inside, and has lots of outside seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ceiling was notably filthy next to the HVAC vent, which was a bit weird.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The were out of all of the pastries I was interested in, and there weren't a whole lot of non-alcoholic beverages that weren't coffee. I opted for a mango smoothie, which was a mistake. It was cloyingly sweet, and I could only endure about a quarter of it and left the rest. My travel companion's coffee treat was described as being really good.

The raspberry latte was one of the best coffee ive had - so rich and creamy! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great workplace with lots of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's also a pizza place across where you can also order from and to. The service is awesome and friendly! Located in a nice area near the microsoft offices so recommend street parking

If I could rate it 3.5 instead I would! But no half stars so here we are. I originally looked up sandwich shops to try out and ended up seeing the Jack sprat menu. It's in a sort of weird location with no real parking nearby so be ready for some stairs depending the direction you come from. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The garden/field is super pretty and very chill! It's in the center of an apartment block so it's very quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pizza place (poggio) and sandwich/burger joint (sprat) are the same company but the pizza place is located in a hut just across the sidewalk. Each has tablets you can order at that include the menu from both poggio and sprat which is convenient! When we ordered and sat at the pizza place, a lady brought out our food over from sprat while our pizza was was delivered at the window of poggio For the food, we ordered the 8 inch pizza, the chaat chicken sandwich, and onion rings. The pizza was a standard, pretty solid, pepperoni pizza that you would expect from anywhere, nothing too special but good and honestly, severely overpriced at $13 for a kids sized pizza. I was super excited for the chaat chicken sandwich and was honestly let down. The description made it sound like it would be full of flavor but honestly it totally fell flat. The best way I can describe it is how food tasted when I had covid: you expect flavor only to get hints of a flavor every once in a while. I think this could be significantly better with more of the yogurt dressing and better seasoning. The onion rings were the best part of the meal and honestly pretty dang good. Overall the food we tried was decent but didn't leave me feeling like I needed to tell my friends about it. A few tweaks to the food could really up the experience

    Poggio piccante is SO GOOD

Nestled in Esterra Park, they combine two distinct dining concepts under one roof. Jack Sprat offers a fresh café menu with a variety of options, including salads, sandwiches, and a diverse array of drinks, from coffee to adult beverages. Meanwhile, Pizza Poggio brings the taste of authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas with thin, crispy crusts and rich toppings, all baked in a wood-fired oven. WHAT WE ATE: - French fries were crisp and seasoned to perfection. - The fried chicken was OMG. You have no business being that delicious. - The pastrami Reuben was packed with house-smoked pastrami made from premium beef. My partner could only eat half. - The Poggio Piccante pizza was stupid good. I could taste the fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, and the bread-to-topping ratio was perfect. - The Pink Elevator, made with fresh watermelon juice, was refreshing with just enough sweetness. There isn't traditional table service as you bus your own table.

Finally tried this spot with my daughter and husband. It's got a great green space outside which makes it perfect for kiddos and big groups. Must be lovely in the summer. We went on a weekday early afternoon and there were only a couple other patrons. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was good. Everything's on the pricier side but the quality was there. The açaí bowl was good. The goji berries were a bit too hard/crunchy for my toddler to enjoy. The BLT was delicious but at $15 for a sandwich it really should come with a side salad or fries. Coffee: my oat milk mocha was delicious. Hubs ordered a nitro cold brew which came with ice. Do nitros typically come with ice? Seemed to water it down a bit and disrupt the nitro foam. Overall, a great spot nestled between all the apartments and hotels in Redmond. Street parking was easy but it's a trek if you've got little ones with you with little legs.

Jack Sprat: The Coffee Equivalent of a Software Update That Bricks Your Laptop This place has been on my list forever and I was actually excited to start my morning here. That ended the moment the coffee hit my mouth like a bad Windows patch. Latte art? I'll take it. Truly. The barista clearly gives a damn and deserves a better platform than whatever this roast was trying to be. The flavor was a hollow shell of what a latte should be. Not offensive enough to throw away, but not good enough to recommend to someone I like. Let's talk about Redmond. For a city with a trillion-dollar tech empire sitting in its lap, you'd think someone would have figured out how to make a decent cup of coffee by now. But no. The whole area seems content serving up coffee that tastes like it was optimized for enterprise users on a six-month delay. This town drinks burnt beans and calls it culture. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Jack Sprat is a mirror of Redmond itself. Pretty on the outside, full of potential, but ultimately ruined by whatever bland, corporate coffee algorithm is running behind the scenes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You're not a coffee city just because you have WiFi and espresso. Fix it.

Pretty surprised that I live in the neighborhood and I had never tried Jack Sprat before. Very good coffee, delicious godly onion rings, and pretty decent Pizza. Loved the fact they have happy hours till 6 PM - and they do have some amazing beer. We tried one stout which really stood out - flavor profile was somewhere between coffee and a cough syrup Service and atmosphere both are excellent here.

Very good natural lighting and lots of seating. They have covered seating outside too, perfect for rainy days. We used street parking down the road and it was a short walk to the cafe. We had tuna fish sandwiches, coffee, a protein smoothie. The food was good and filling. It was a little confusing coming in on how it worked, but you can order from a kiosk. We weren't really guided or greeted by staff- but they were friendly when delivering our items. My only complaint is that we spent $50 on this, but I suppose that's to be expected near Microsoft headquarters.

They also do raffles sometimes, which I think is such a fun touch. Another thing I like is that they always have themed or specialty drinks. I haven't tried them yet, but I think it's fun that they get creative, especially around the holidays or different seasons. I also really recommend their breakfast burritos. The vegetarian burrito and the sausage burrito are both so good, definitely ask for hot sauce because it makes them even better. The only downside is that the line can get pretty long sometimes. I've definitely waited around 15 minutes before, so it's best if you have a little extra time. That said, once you place your order they make the drinks and heat up the food pretty quickly, which helps move things along. Overall, if you have a few extra minutes to spare, I totally recommend stopping by. It's conveniently located, the drinks are great, and the friendly service makes it worth the wait.

MERCURYS COFFEE @ BELLEVUE…read more Parking is conveniently available right out front, making it easy to stop by whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or staying awhile. This is the largest Mercury's Coffee location in Washington. I've been to the Kirkland location, which is drive-thru only, but this café offers a completely different experience. A fun fact is that Mercury's headquarters is located right next door to this location. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling. When it comes to drinks, Mercury's has some of my favorite organic coffee beverages. The Caramel Macchiato is my go-to and one of the best drinks on the menu. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to meet up with friends, study, or get some work done. It's easily twice the size of the Redmond or Kirkland locations, so it feels much more spacious and comfortable. The staff are always friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. If you're in Bellevue and looking for a great local coffee shop with delicious food, fresh pastries, and plenty of space to relax, I would definitely recommend stopping by this Mercury's location.

Very disappointing experience…read more I stopped by around 4:00 p.m. with only 2-3 people in line, but two employees spent about 10 minutes chatting with a customer instead of helping those waiting. When it was finally my turn, I ordered one coffee, but although my card was charged, my order was never entered into the system. After waiting 10 minutes while several customers who ordered after me received their drinks, I went back to ask about it. Instead of apologizing, the cashier was rude and argumentative. I asked for a refund since I had to leave, but they accidentally charged my card a second time instead. Eventually, another employee tried to process the refund and told me to check my card in a couple of days. This isn't about $6--it's about poor customer service, lack of training, and no accountability. Mercury Coffee used to be much better. I hope management addresses these issues.

We walked in and the lady behind the counter asked if we were dining in or ordering to go and told us we could sit wherever we liked. She quickly brought us menus. Nothing fancy. Simple menus on a clipboard. We ended up ordering two banh mis, a side of pho beef broth, chicken skewers and egg rolls. I forgot to mention when we first walked in, you could smell the fragrance of the pho broth. It was very satisfying in a foodie way. The skewers came out first. Nothing special. Some pieces were actually a little overcooked or dry. It was like they were reheated too long. They were lightly seasoned and good with the dipping sauce. Next came the banh mi and the broth. The bread on our banh mis was amazing. Seriously some of the best bread I've had in a long time. It was crunchy and light and had a very nice chew to it. I would inhale that bread every day if I could. It's insanely good. The fillings on the inside of the banh mi were fresh. I went with the standard cold cut banh mi and my husband ordered a fried egg. His egg was cooked perfectly, just slightly runny. My only complaint on the banh mi was I wish it had more filling. It was enough. And for $9 I'm not upset but it would have been a 5/5 if it just had more filling. Now that beef broth. Wow! It was so good. The aroma was amazing. The broth delivered on flavor without being greasy or feeling too heavy for a broth. It was light and super satisfying. The egg roll was alright. It was decent. Nothing to write home about but satisfying enough. I just wish they served it with the fish sauce instead of sweet chili sauce. I'll be back. Especially for their banh mi. Bc that bread man. And I did ask if they make it themselves. She said yes.

85 DEGREE BAKERY @ BELLEVUE…read more Parking at this location can be a bit tricky. This 85°C Bakery is located in a large plaza that's always busy, especially since it's surrounded by popular food spots and restaurants. Because of that, the area can get pretty packed, but I was still really excited to stop by this location. As soon as you walk in, the space feels very open and spacious. I loved how big it was and how many tables they had available. Most 85°C Bakery locations feel more like a grab-and-go spot, so I appreciated that this one had plenty of seating and room to hang out. They also have touchscreen kiosks where you can order drinks and other items without needing help from a staff member. We walked around and looked at all the bakery items, and I'm always a fan of their almond croissants and protein breads. The chicken Hawaiian bun is one of my favorites, and their sausage bun is also delicious it's clearly a popular item. I also ordered their sea salt coffee. If you download the 85°C Bakery app and it's your first time using it, you get a free sea salt coffee, which was a nice bonus. While the food and drinks were great, the service was unfortunately lacking. One customer was confused about her order, and a staff member rolled her eyes at her. The same staff member also rolled her eyes at me and my family while we were in line. Overall, the staff didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. There wasn't much smiling or engagement, and it felt like everyone was annoyed rather than excited to help. We also noticed staff packaging food with boxes out in the open during our visit. I personally think this is something that should be done in the back or at least behind the register, rather than directly in front of customers. Overall, the experience was decent mainly because the bakery items and drinks were fresh and delicious. However, the staff could definitely be friendlier, as customer service plays a big role in the overall experience.
