A bizarre story about me driving off and leaving my debit card behind. Went across the road to an iced tea stand and discovered I'd lost the card and paid with cash. I hurried back to Jack and retrieved the card, and realized I'd drove away without the tea from the other place. Oy vey! The mini tacos and cluck sandwich were tasty and the service was quick. they said that per policy, had to charge me for cheese sauce and shredded cheese. when i asked to be sure i get both it was quickly escallated to the Manager for no reason. they accused me of being the a hole when they just got mad. they threw my bag of food at me. the did not give me my drink. after i had to bang on window for what i paid for, the did not give me straw either. I'm really upset about this location. They ignored the front all they did is pay attention to the drive-through we weren't able to drive-through because of our truck and trailer. We ordered a breakfast jack with sausage got a breakfast. Jack with ham we ordered extra sweet-and-sour we had to ask for even one sweet-and-sour with our teriyaki bowl. It took forever for them to make our sandwich in the first place. There was three other people waiting and they haven't even helped anybody the service was really bad eggroll was soggy. I ordered online around 12:20 ish and the app said they were preparing my order to find out it's now 1:05 pm and they still haven't delivered AND there closed?!? Clean, friendly typical fare and after reading all the scary reviews for the 2 McDonalds in town I just couldn't bare to go to either. When I talked Fast Food they yelp it didn't show Jack in the Box, but after going to the nearby Starbucks, we saw JUtB over the freeway. So relieved as this is that big halfway point to eat between California and Utah. Last time we took our time and had good Greek food, this time we needed to eat quickly. I highly recommend this Jack stop when passing thru Elko. There was nothing funky about this spot, order was right, the tables & floors were all clean, everything was timely and good. read more

I went to this store yesterday to get French toast sticks for my son for breakfast. Thought the syrup was a given. Received the French toast sticks and no syrup. Thought it was just an oversight. Went to the counter and was advised they were out of syrup but I could get another sauce. When I asked why I wasn't advised they had no syrup when I placed the order as I would not have ordered it, the employee just walked to the back. I then bagged my order up and went to the grocery store nearby and bought syrup. Disappointing. read more

I give this place ZERO STARS. So disappointing. We ordered the Chicken Strip Combo with large fries. The Chicken was mediocre. The fries were horrible! We sent the 1st order back because they were cold. The 2nd order was also cold. A few weeks ago I went to jack in the box and got a drink and one other thing they took a good 15-18 min to give me my food. they didn't even hand me my drink. The food is better than the typical fast food joints just don't call it fast. Not only is the service slow but it's a little pricey and their menu price for the ultimate cheese burger combo was 20 cents less than what it rings up. That may be a little item but it should be corrected. read more

The fast food is tasty, if not particularly healthy, at Elko's Jack in the box, as is true of most of that brand. However, this is one of the slower fast food places in Elko. 15+ minutes from order to ready. Longer if you have line get to point of ordering. Arby's next door is much faster. And KFC across the highway averages 1 minute per car served. But if you crave the taste, accept that in Elko it will take time. read more

The girlfriend and I went through the drive thru and were greeted by a kind lady's voice who was taking orders. We then got to the window and the nicest man gave us our food (and complimented me on my suit.) We got home and had some of the best fast food we've encountered. The chicken was great and so were the curly fries. We wish we could give more than five stars. read more

Although the Dining Lobby is open, in accordance with Corona Virus Man-dates, this location is short staffed, therefore Drive Thru is the only option... which I am not choosing due to food quality fears! However, I am able to enjoy free Wi-Fi. read more

This is the worst Jack in the box ever. Ordered on the app and went to pick it up. They told us they were out of everything we ordered. How is a burger joint out of hamburgers at 2 pm during the day? Then they refused to give us back our money and didn't give us anything for the over 18.00 they charged us. Never again will I order from THEIR mobile app because they steal your money. Their service is absolutely terrible and apparantly they have no one that knows what they are doing since they had no hamburgers at a hamburger joint. Beware people if u go there. Waited 20 minutes for a "fast food" meal so if you dont have time to kill I wouldn't recommend. Customer service was nonexistent, I'm not kidding the drive through girl said one thing to me, "7.98". Had to wait till they noticed I hadn't left to ask for some ketchup. read more

I live in Elko, and I'm not sure what has happened to this place, but the drive thru has been extremely slow the last three times I went (evening time). So my last trip I went inside to order thinking it would be faster...20 minutes later I left with the four tacos I ordered. Staff was unprofessional, but I see a lot of that in Elko fast food places - I guess I'm just not use to that type of behavior. Disappointed Jack In The Box, hope you make changes soon. read more
