Raleys in Elko is one of my favorites to get fresh produce and other items. I was in the store earlier this morning and the store is always clean and organized. My review today is not good because the check-out clerk was rude and it's the second time she's been rude to me. She had really short dark brown hair and wears glasses. This would have been around 9:15 or 9:20 when I checked out. My receipt says Tam is the name but I didn't get a look at her name tag. I really don't like giving bad reviews especially when the store always looks clean and I can usually find what I need but I think the rudeness needs to be addressed. Hopefully a supervisor can have a conversation with the worker. read more

I haven't lived in Elko for years and years. How strange that Yelp would ask me to review this Raley's. So, I guess that's what I will do... I'm not sure how much this store has changed since my mom worked there and I felt like I was cool because I was able to go find my mom and go places other people couldn't go. I grew up going to this store,and I even worked in the bakery for a few years. It was always the cleanest,friendliest,and had a great variety. Things that were in my opinion ahead of their time. A natural foods department that was well stocked with vegetarian and vegan food. A great deli and of course bakery. From memory it was a great store. Very rude and hostile woman working at the 15 items or less register tonight. I couldn't believe the way she treated me just because I was asking her a question. I even tried to make her smile and she just gave me such an evil look. Unbelievable!!!! Her name tag said Tam. Probably in her 50's with short gray and black hair. I'm not shopping here again!!!!! I'll also be calling corporate when they open tomorrow. read more

Stopped in to grab pastries for my clients. They had a good variety of pre packed danishes and hand pies. The donuts in the glass cabinet looked delicious too. Looks like a great place to grab a bite to eat! read more

Friendly staff who are helpful to both regular and one time shoppers. They remember their regular shopping visitors. Fresh vegetable and fruit quality is consistently good. Their blueberries consistently last longest in the refrigerator compared to any of the 3 other full-sized grocery stores in Elko. Their deli has a broader selection for quick meals than other grocery stores. Depending upon your needs, the selection of drygood staple foods is not quite as wide as some of the other full-sized Elko grocery stores. There can be a tendency to spend more at Raley's than other stores if you do not watch individual item pricing. Aisle, spacing and lighting is good, supporting a comfortable shopping experience. read more

This is the first time I've ever done a review before but I felt like this needed to be done. I was in Raleys of Elko NV tonight around 9:30 and was just shocked how the cashier treated me and the person in front of me. Now I'm an introvert and so I usually keep to myself and don't speak up when situations like this occur but this cashier seemed to have it out for everyone. It felt as though her customers were an inconvenience to her. She was so rude it was horrible. I couldn't really see her name tag except the first 3 letters were Tam. She is short with black hair with gray throughout. I would guess maybe late 40's or early 50's. She was the only cashier working or I would have switched to the other checkout after I saw her discourteous attitude. Maybe this woman was having a bad day but her behavior was totally uncalled for. I like this store but Im just not sure if I will ever return...especially if she is working. read more

I had a job to provide three meals for 100+ women and had the food service and bakery at this store make some wonderful trays charcuterie trays were fabulous and fruit trays wonderful fruit tarts fantastic thank you for all your help. read more

To be honest. I'm torn. Torn between three and four stars. Let me give you a point by point. Cons (I always start with the bad and end with the good.) Prices are steep especially for produce. Checkers don't seem very friendly. Not rude by any means...but the friendliness of this town is pretty high....Raley's.....not so much. I'm wondering if it's just stressful working there when there are at least 2 other grocery stores within a 5 iron shot distance. Pros ALWAYS really really really clean. Great look, recently remodeled. Great "Buy 6" alcohol promotions brings the price down to affordable if not even "good buy". They have kombucha. They are as close to a "hippy dippy" store as you can get in Elko. Decent Parking Drink isle SLAYS the competition. The varieties of different drinks you can get at this store is just amazing. Teas, specialty sodas, waters, juices and the like. I'm not sure I've seen this kind of selection at ANY Raley's. Anyway, I go here regularly while I am Elko. It's pretty much a toss up between Smith's and here. I usually go to both to get it all. read more

I have always loved shopping at Raley's. It had been my main shopping store since moving to the Elko area 4 years ago. I have especially loved the quality of produce and the selection of healthy products. Unfortunately about 9 months ago, I became so frustrated with the produce I changed stores. A God-send for a vegan and gluten free person like me. It's like a local, more simple version of Whole Foods. Tons of healthy choices in the produce, vegetarian, and gluten free aspect. They have kombucha and coconut water too! Organic hippies, rejoice! read more

Very disappointed since new management. Produce has taken a turn for the worst, shelves empty, items always being discontinued. Special orders never come in and your never notified. Bakery and deli not helpful. Meat prices fluctuate weekly.Old management and employees were the best. Will shop in Salt Lake from now on. Very sad, this has been my store for 13 years. read more

So I'm happy to say Raley's is Back!! It has been VERY apparent that there is new Management of the store as employees seem happier, shelves are regularly stocked, Mike is back in Produce (Yay!), and there are more check-out lines! I'm thrilled to see the store back to its old self! read more

Raley's has always been a good place to shop. They have a signature line of soups which includes a great variety; their other deli foods and handmade sandwiches are great as well. They have a good selection of products and their produce is top-notch. This store is clean, well-organized, and welcoming. read more

Called in for help and the lady whom answered the phone, Amanda (I believe) was absolutely amazing. Was friendly, helpful, and just above and beyond for customer service. Always knew food was great at store, especially with things like meats, but knowing customer service is phenomenal really puts Raley's ahead of Elko grocery store game! I like this store! Produce is fresh. I always find why I am looking for. The prices are fair and reasonable, and they have a great beer selection. The people here are always nice and friendly. I can't find a single reason as to why I would shop elsewhere. read more

Came here a few times, the sandwich guy is s-l-o-w, omg I almost left twice. Idk if he was small town slow or racist or classist or what. I did have a fabulous sandwich made by a girl named Mary. The quality of the products here are good. Right off the freeway. read more

THE freshest produce in town. A good selection of organic items including, dairy, dry, bulk, packaged and fresh. Since we don't have a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's this is the only other option around. Great customer service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. read more

I'm updating to say that the Chili Roasting lady and her husband did an outstanding job trying to get to everyone as fast as possible in the heat in that parking lot. She was so nice and efficient in a stressful situation. I hope next year that the store management has a better set up with cold drinks and help out there for their employee's and maybe you will sell a lot of drinks for us Chili loving people waiting out there. Get your other employees up to date on how things should be handled, like don't tell customers they are not taking pre orders. *wink* The Chili's are outstanding! This year for Hatch Chili's I was told on the phone they weren't taking pre-orders. I get there today, the first day of chili roasting, pay the cashier, went out an the poor gal roasting had what she said was at least 3 hours of pre-orders ahead of me. She said it's new management confusion, put my name and phone number on the boxes I bought for roasting. Okay I live 25 minutes away so I drove home to wait for the call. 5 hours later I called to see what to do, do I wait all day? Drive into town and check? The lady on the phone just kept saying,"She will call you when yours are ready!" Okay, I just worry mine will be sitting there all day getting ruined sitting in the heat after roasting and no one is calling me! Remember, it takes me 25 minutes to get to town and 25 minutes back home. I've never had issues with Raley's of any kind before including getting my delicious Hatch Chili's. read more

Love this store, prices are a little high. Perishables are fresh, great selection of unique foods. Employees are very friendly with the exception of one person. I am surprised she still works at Raley's. Her customer service skills are horrible, she yells at fellow employees and customers. She needs to be placed in a different position with no customer contact. Aside from that complaint, I rate 4 stars . read more

Wow! This Raley's is huge!. Very nice produce department. Extensive wine selection. Good bakery and deli. Pretty much everything in the store is top notch! We drove an hour and a half to come shop here. It was worth the trip! read more
