Excellent work! Very fast and reliable! Moved with them a second time. Highly recommended!

I used this company for the second time an once again was extremely pleased. The movers showed up on time and were ready to work! My elevator was broken and they had 3 flights of steps to work with and not once complained. Would definitely recommend and use again ! read more

We moved in December, we chose Careful Budget Moving to help move the bigger things in our apartment. They were quick, and protected our furniture with wrapping. With the covid pandemic they did come and wear masks. We really appreciate their help with the move. Kane was great to work with, and very reasonable. Thanks for the help! read more

These guys were so amazing! Highly recommend!! Kane answered all my questions in a timely manner and it was a big reason I chose this moving company. He was very kind and made my stressful moving experience wonderful. I had to move to the top of a hill, 80+ uneven steep stairs! They handle the move like true professionals and got all my belongings into my apartment in perfect condition. I truly couldn't have done it without them and I'm so grateful for them! They got my 1 bedroom apartment moved in 3 hours! I would definitely used their moving company for the next time I move. read more

We have used Careful Budget moving in the past and once again they exceeded our expectations! Great price, efficient team, service was fantastic and the whole process was super easy... They were so fast, professional, and protected all our stuff like it was their own. They wrapped all the furniture and moved very careful to avoid scratches. They also helped with assembling furniture. Super nice guys! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You guys are the BEST! If I could give them six stars I would. read more

Incredibly helpful and flexible. My move had a lot of hiccups and the amenability was so appreciated. Will be using again next time I move!

Needed movers to move from LA to OC. These guys gave me the best rate and the movers were quick and friendly. Definitely would recommend.

Johnny and Dima were rockstars!!!! Kane is great to work with as well for setting up and info. Just an all around fantastic experience!!!!

Andy and Dimitri moved us within 3 hours and we are so happy with the service they provide us ,thank you guys so much !

I am happy with the service I received from these guys. Other than a couple of hiccups (they were very late, but apologized and worked really hard to make up the time, as well as gave me a discount) they were communicative and great. All 3 worked hard in a short amount of time to get all of my stuff moved. Not to mention, I had to change the date at the last minute, and they were able to accommodate me. They were organized and helped get my stuff both into storage and setup at my new location. The only problem I encountered was I noticed several scratches on my son's bed after the move, and they are in a very visible location. The guys had trouble with the bed and spent a significant amount of time dissembling and reassembling it, so I understand, but I wish they had told me. It's possible they didn't even notice after such a long day. Either way, it's not a big deal. I will definitely be using these guys for any future move. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for fast & efficient movers. read more

Mike and Johnny moved a sectional couch for me. Great move. They were friendly, fast and efficient. They carefully wrapped my couch before loading it. I highly recommend them. read more

Wow! These guys were amazing, they were efficient and got the job done quickly! They were honest and hardworking. There is doubt that they have experience. They were able to wrap and protect my furniture from getting damaged throughout the move. They were in and out within a couple hours. I recommend these guys to any of my closest friends. I did my research and they also gave me the best price too. You won't regret it! read more

I called the company and lane set up the appointment letting me know that George will give me a call on his way to my address. Jorge called me and told me that he will be at my address in 15 minutes. Both George and Rafael showed up they were courteous, polite, clean, respectful, and introduce themselves. They finished a three hour job within an hour. They asked me if I had any other items to move and moved everything to where I needed them to. This is an inexpensive moving company I didn't have to deal with anyone from Home Depot or Uhaul not knowing who they are what their background is and $409 an hour it was an amazing deal. Thank you I will definitely use this company again. Rafael and George were amazing! read more

Using Careful Budget Moving for my move was one of the best decisions I've made this year! Moving out has always given me anxieties since the mover I used during my first move in LA was not only late on my move-in day but also not responsive! Furthermore, they were slow and sloppy. I had to keep an eye out for all my furnitures. But Kane and his team gave me a whole different experience and made all those anxieties go away! They packed everything and secured all my furnitures and belongings so well and made the whole moving experience go so smoothly! When they were missing a screwdriver to disassemble my bed frame, they paused the time to make sure that I was being charged fairly. They were responsive, very professional, and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend to anyone who is in need of a movers in the LA area. Thank you guys! read more

Kane- this is in response to your comment. The job that was done would've been unacceptable to anyone. Things were almost just thrown in to where trying to get to something was risky because it could trigger a whole bunch of things to fall. The reason why they stayed the extra 30 minutes is because they realized how horrendous it was and there was no way I could even get to anything. They also left all the plastic wrapping they used for transporting the furniture in my front yard and generally a mess. The garage in the old house was a disaster too in addition to leaving a lot of stuff, including two chairs behind. The fact that i got charged for cleaning the truck is absolutely ridiculous. The fact that they didn't look to make sure it had nothing, considering it was outdoors, is not my fault. Anytime there is something left outside, you always check to make sure that there is nothing hiding. It's common sense. You guys said that you would return some money and I have yet to see it. The amount you offered was nothing compared to how much extra I paid but worse, I haven't even been reimbursed. You say that you did extra? Guess what, you charged me enough and more for all the "extra" work that was apparently done. I don't even know where to begin! My experience with them has been a nightmare. First of all they came an hour early, which is not terrible but at the same time it was not the best time (there's a reason why I specifically had scheduled them for later). The move in itself took forever. 95% of the stuff was already boxed and taped but for whatever reason it took way longer than it should have. The worst part of it is that they literally dumped all the boxes in the garage of the new house making it impossible to access to anything in there. I had asked them to put anything with the words Kitchen or Fragile written on the box to put them inside the house, but that didn't even happen. The washer and dryer were inaccessible as they stacked up a bunch of boxes in front of it. It felt like they literally threw everything in there and couldn't be bothered. When I said something about it they spent about 20 minutes at the end of the day to pull out a couple of boxes that I needed immediately. They also not only overcharged me (by $1,000) but also charged me $400 to have their truck cleaned. Apparently there were spiders hidden under one of the outdoor pieces that got into the truck. I don't understand why that would be my responsibility to pay for the truck to be cleaned. Most people would make sure there are no bugs before moving outdoor furniture. They also left a mess at the old house and a bunch of things behind so I had to have a friend help me move all of that stuff. I am still waiting for someone to reach out and refund the money that they overcharged me. It's been six days already. If you ever plan to use them, good luck! read more

They came by during the hottest day of the year with 110 degrees and work continuously for long periods of time. They packaged everything professionally and securely and even custom wrapped certain items that I wanted to be done. I had a small home, but they were able to move everything in less than 6 hours. read more

It’s Time For Moving - Movers Near Me

Absolutely the best experience with this moving company! I couldn't believe how quickly my entire apartment's furniture was put into their truck. I expected to pay double what I was charged for their hard work. They took up so many heavy items up 4 flights of stairs! I was clearly shown what time they started and what I was being charged for. I will ALWAYS use this company for moving. Don't hesitate to hire these folks. read more

When it comes to moving, these guys can move more than just furniture and personal belongings, they can move your heart. With an incredibly cheery disposition and upbeat enthusiasm, the kind gentlemen movers of Careful Budget Moving helped turn a typically stressful day into a breezy and fun filled afternoon of relocating my stuff. Axel and Tooga arrived promptly during the time slot we were allotted, calling ahead with phone updates to let us know of their exact arrival. Once they showed up, it was time to boogy. They had just come off another moving job but showed no signs of fatigue in their physical prowess or their cheerfully helpful attitudes. Equipped with a very spacious moving vehicle, my previous horror of realizing i have collected too many belonging during my stay at my previous residence was quickly washed away with a wave of relief after realizing all of my belongings barely filled their easily 25ft long truck. They brought all the goods needed for a safe and smooth relocation of items big and small. With their assortment of plastic wrap, moving blankets, large volume boxes, strong man arms, and dollies, Axel and Tooga helped to make sure that I would be moved out promptly and smoothly. Can not recommend this company enough for getting you and all your glorious stuff from point A to point B. I almost want to move again just to experience the quality of their customer service and fair pricing once more. 10/10 will call when i move again! read more

They literally left all of my items in the parking lot because they refused to go up the elevator or stairs. They got extremely volatile with the head of gate security when she asked them to see their ID to use elevator blankets, ...so they decided to just throw all of my things in the parking lot and left me (a disabled veteran) scrambling to find help to get everything upstairs. The REAL issue is they wanted to hoist things up and down from the balcony and they realized they couldn't do it from the condo like they did at my apartment in the morning. They are LAZY for movers. They were on the phone chit chatting LOUDLY in Russian the entire time from the first moving location, then they took a lunch break that they charged me for THEN left all of my things and still charged my credit card for a job they didn't complete. I've had to do a fraud claim and I contacted the BBB. I've never seen such disgusting behavior from "professional movers". I am SHOCKED they actually have good reviews. I'm shocked they left all of my things in the parking lot and refused to take them upstairs and shocked they charged me when they didn't complete the work. I gave them my credit card info for the deposit, not for them to charge me for a job they didn't complete. They are a scam. The owner tried to say they were willing to go up the elevator but I was left in the parking lot with all my furniture. Whatever response they leave here is a complete lie. I would never recommend this company and I wish I didn't choose them. They caused me such a stressful time when I was looking for movers to bring my belongs into my new condo. Horrible humans and horrible work ethic. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. This is the worst, most unprofessional company I've ever worked with!!!! STAY AWAY. Not only did they mishandle and broke my items, they ruined my mattress and refuse to take responsibility!!! Just for reference, this mattress is not even one year old. When I first spoke to them in regards to my mattress, they were very apologetic, admitted fault and said they would replace it no problem. The next day, Kane (the owner) had a very different outlook and basically told me it's not their problem. So not only did they ruin our mattress, displace my family and break several items, they were unwilling to help us out in any way. We have no mattress to sleep on, we are a new family with a 4 month old baby and this company refuses to help us and holds zero responsibility for the damage they caused!!!!! read more

After reading all of their yelp reviews I reached out to them to see if they had availability to accommodate my move. After getting a quote over the phone and being the most reasonable compared to the other guys they came with two guys Nick and Stan along with a big moving truck and all the necessary equipment, padding, tape and boxes to help with my move. They arrived on time they were very nice and they helped me with everything with a big smile on their face. After everything was done they helped clean up and bring everything up for me and nothing was damaged in the entire move. I am a very picky person and they were able to keep me very happy. On 2/26/21 two movers arrived to assist me from Careful Budget Moving. After loading 70% of my belongings to the truck, they said the truck was full so they couldn't load the rest of my boxes. Please note that this was only a 900 square foot apartment. I told them to follow me to my new address and they said, "We're going to be driving slow. We will meet you there " It took them an hour and 45 minutes to arrive at my new home which is only a 30 minute drive. When they arrived at my new home, they said they got lost. I called the next day to talk to the manager regarding being reimbursed for the extra hour it took his drivers to arrive and he told me he would have to call me back. Unfortunately I never received a call. Ultimately I had to hire someone else to move the rest of my belongings for $200. Needless to say, I was not pleased with this moving company. It's disheartening that the manager never to returned my call yet he was very responsive when I called to schedule my move. read more

i have used movers many times and this was by far the worst experience I have had. i asked them to call 30 minutes prior to their arrival because we were not living there and could only provide a 2 hour time frame. Instead they called when they arrived and it took us 20 minutes to get there. They lied to their boss and said that they called but we had no missed calls. They attempted to charge me for time but I made them take that waiting time off prior to my arrival. They said they were not vaccinated but refused to wear masks saying that they did not want to suffocate. They had a poor attitude and moved so slowly that we waited outside. They spent a good deal of time sitting outside smoking instead of moving. After they loaded the truck, we noticed them missing so went down to find them all sitting around in the truck talking and taking a very long break. After they left the apartment, it took them 2 hours (without exaggeration) to get to the next stop that was literally less than a mile away. They claimed it was due to narrow streets, one way streets and a large truck. I am sure they took another break and were doing it to be difficult. They attempted to charge me for this time in spite of my stating it was inappropriate. i had to insist them take off time. They charged me an extra $150 to move a stationary bike saying it was a heavy item. Their truck got stuck scraping their rear end of the truck on the street as we live in a area that has hills. Although I do not blame them for getting stuck, it was apparent that they were not familiar enough with their truck to know that they needed to take a less steep street. They had to unload in the busy street and walk up the entire load three homes with dollies. We ended up calling a handyman that we knew to bring a couple guys to help them as the police had come to find out why all the furniture was in the street and a truck blocking traffic. The handyman suggested that they take the truck up another street that was less steep a few streets away, but the driver did not want to. instead we started at 9:30am and ended after 7:30pm. All of things combined cost me a small fortune to move a small 1 bedroom 1 office apartment a total of 2 miles. i suggest finding movers that are honest and reputable. read more
