Dave is a genuine-hearted individual who truly cares about his clients. He's not in it to make a quick buck and never takes advantage of anyone. As a senior citizen, I've dealt with many moving companies over the years that promise quality and service but deliver nothing more than empty marketing. Dave is the complete opposite. He tells you exactly what the cost will be--no hidden fees, no nickel and diming. What you see is what you get, and that honesty is rare these days. On top of that, Dave is incredibly handy. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reliable, prompt, courteous, affordable, and locally owned and operated mover to help get your smaller LTL shipments to its first / last mile destination, look no further! Dave's your guy to get the job done! I had purchased a relatively oversized automotive shop tool from a tool truck vendor and needed someone who could help me get the item in Riverside to another freight forwarder down in San Diego on my behalf. Since I live abroad, I tried getting quotes from big reputable companies such as FedEx Freight and UPS Freight, but the prices they quoted me for were outrageous. Additionally, the pickup window with these behemoths are always anywhere from 4-6 hours, and there was no guarantee the unit would be delivered the same day without any damage. Furthermore, since I wasn't a big business entity shipping huge quantities and volumes, I was clearly very low priority for them. Here's a quick summary of the highlights that make Dave's Moving & Delivery Service a superstar: 1.) Their quote was literally half of what FedEx Freight quoted me 2.) Given the finnicky transportation requirements, size, weight, and value of the item, Dave himself personally completed the job 3.) Dave showed up promptly at 8am for pickup as he originally promised 4.) Item went straight to its destination immediately after pickup; there was no holdover, no unloading and reloading the item to another truck. 5.) Item arrived in pristine condition. I scheduled a storage to storage move with Dave from Corona to Big Bear Lake (2 hr drive time). He was very personable and gave me an estimate of the cost and time it would take for him and his employee to complete the move. He was spot on with his timing. They were very careful in securing the items which included a motorcycle, two storage racks, 70 boxes and assorted loose items.
