Pedro, the Owner/Operator, responded very promptly and gave me a fair price to remove an old basketball pole/hoop that was anchored in the concrete slab by the homes original owner. A few days later we arranged a day/time for him to stop by and handle the demolition & haul away. The top portion of the pole cut easy, but the base was filled with 40 year old concrete so it took some work. His sawzall couldn't cut it, so he drove back to get his angle grinder to properly finish the job. He made sure to cut and grind the metal all the way down flat, ensuring that no sharp points or edges would remain to cut or trip me or my kids. He also manually sledgehammered any remaining raised concrete to get it as flush as possible. Finally, he swept up the jobsite and was on his way. The whole time he was extremely polite, friendly and professional. We even discussed a future demolition job that I'll probably have him help me with.
