When I called him he informed me that he had already started loading up the material without my permission. He wouldn't offer a military discount and he also did not clean up the site before leaving. Second consideration: He had underbid the job at $200 and realized he'd be losing money on the haul away at the dump. He respectfully asked if we'd reconsider the price, but said that in no way was he trying to get out of doing it at the promised price. We did not mind paying $100 more since he was so cool about it, taking full responsibility for underestimating the amount of work and pounds of haul away from the BEFORE photos we sent. We were more than impressed at how they worked in the hot sun, doing a complete job. That truckload itself speaks volumes.
