The last time I went here I had my dip nails removed. The lady who did it was so quick and did not take care of my nails. Ever since getting the dip manicure off, my nails have been brittle, so they break easily, and they are getting shorter because of how easily they break down to the tender part of my nail. Will not go here again. Please save your time and don't get your dip manicure removed here. My nails are so uneven and uglier than ever. So much regret. Also, they said $10 for removal which is fine, okay. When I said it's dip, they made it $15. $5 more for a terrible job?? They removed it the same way as gel?? Why does it cost more and why did she ruin my nails?? I've gotten gel nails removed before and my nails were not this brittle. Don't waste your time here!!! I wish I knew the nail techs name so I can tell you guys who to be careful of. I am so upset and heartbroken. I have never been so disrespected. Awful service. I politely asked the lady if they would mind filing my nails in one direction instead of sawing them back and forth because my nails break easily. She ended up giving up after 2 nails and giving me a bad attitude that she couldn't do it loudly and threw up her hands. The entire room was looking at us. Irvine Nails is friendly, light, open and fresh, with ample spacing between stations and is organized. He maintains the salon's aesthetic and rotates out cushions that are seasonal in color and theme which is pleasant. No food odors. Parking has never been a problem. It's in a small well-maintained retail building with respectable businesses alongside (veterinarian, tea shop, etc.) Prices are reasonable and appropriate. Not cheap, but not gouging either. However, my daughter sat there waiting for service for a very long time, and I expressed multiple times to them that she needed assistance because we were on a time crunch, but none of the ladies even acknowledged me and waved me off. It was 4:30 when my daughter received service and my pedicure was nearly done. She had to wait an entire hour before receiving service when I had clearly booked an appointment for two people at 3:30, and we were on a time crunch. Not only that the service was terrible, they dismissed me when I said the water was far too hot, and when I said it was painful. Overall the vibe was rude, unwelcoming, and extremely unprofessional. I want to start off and say this salons quality of nails is beautiful and I have never left here unhappy until today. I went in looking to get a new set and a basic pedicure. Started out fine per usual however the girl who helped me did not listen and started doing a fill about 5 minutes in she says "he will help you" and then walks off....no one comes to help I'm just getting my pedicure done now. Mind you I told them I have work today and need both services done at the same time . I was told it would be. The man comes over and makes small talk and removes my old acrylics. That's great but then walks away after. I sat there for 20 minutes while my pedicure is finished. The original girl comes back over and starts up my new set. I told her I work with kids I need them shorter. She tells me that they will be once filed. My pinky nails are abnormally long compared to the rest. I had agreed with her at the start to Orange French tips. I show her what I want and she says "I showed you the shape and you said this is fine you said round" and I'm like ....hold on I'm not talking about the shape of my nails I'm talking about the shape of the French tip. She then looks at me and says that makes no sense. Of course I was upset and said never mind. At this point I had been in the salon 2 hours now. I tell her will they be done soon? I have to go to work. She says we'll you should have told us you were in a rush and needed them done at the same time...EXCUSE ME. I did! I have 5 minutes left before I need to leave and we barley start polish. I tell her never mind the French I have no time just basic coat them. I left very unhappy with my nails. This is not what I wanted and I spoke out what I needed multiple times but was told that's what I was getting and wasn't. Then when I ask why it's I never told them that. I'm really sad to write this because I love their quality and leave happy every other time. I had to pay full price and did not get what I wanted at all due to their time management. This salon has got to be the MOST sanitized I've ever seen. I've never been to a salon where the light for the gel didn't have paint stains on it. They clean and sanitize all their tools after EACH FREAKIN CLIENT.
