Visited last week Simple mani and pedi buff The pricing offerings did not match what I was charged Again, simple service - took them 25 minutes: no polish, no hot towel treatment, no timed massage total paid $75 + tip, walked out feeling tricked with no dialogue of the transaction, just a payment machine handed to me. Puzzled and tired (9 months pregnant) I didn't push back. Note: In the past I've had a gel manicure, 45 minute session and paid $55. Something seemed off with pricing this visit. Something I noticed in this visit that was a complete turn off was how they rinsed the tools in the water my feet and hands were in to use on the next customer. Left my cuticle Bleeding One of the worst nail salon experiences I've had. The technician put cut on my finger while doing my cuticles and made it bleed. When I calmly told him, he applied something that burned badly and showed absolutely no concern or apology. He was rude and aggressive throughout the appointment, even getting angry when I simply asked for a towel after washing my hands. When I finally spoke up about his behavior, he actually yelled at me to "GET OUT." The other staff tried to help afterward, but this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. Getting injured is one thing being treated disrespectfully afterward is another. I would not return and cannot recommend this place. read more

Hidden gem! Ask for Kenny, (Kenny very fast) Kim is the best if you like NAIL art. Jenny is also very sweet and good! I'm not a picky person when it comes to nails--but I am precise. If I'm paying $80+, I expect the work to be done carefully and cleanly, especially the polish. Anh Kenny was incredibly thoughtful. He knew I had an appointment next door and rushed to accommodate me without sacrificing care. Chi Kim was such a pleasant surprise--she jumped in to help finish my set and did an AMAZING job on the nail art. I told her french tip but do whatever. I'm easy going,, but I truly appreciate effort and when technicians clearly care about their work and show that they care. That makes all the difference. They are clean, thorough, she goes the extra mile to get the creative design I want and to put her touch on it. I feel pampered and a little bit cuter every time I go! After a bit I asked how long the wait would be since I was in a bit of a rush. They told me ten minutes initially but then proceeded to have one of the technicians break away from a client briefly so I could start my nail soak. The tech was very kind and even offered to grab me water even though she was multitasking and I was inconveniencing her. We were walk ins. The pedi was fine no issues but the nail polish was too dry, I complaint and the lady removed & reapplied but it was still leaving streaks on my nail. So finally the "manager" lady came and said something is wrong with my "nail" not their nail polish being too dry. She applied it again and said once it dries it'll be fine. My son & I were treated to a mani/pedi by my SIL who made an appointment for 2:30pm. We ended up arriving @2pm but they warmly greeted us & took us right away. The staff was friendly & the vibe was chill. The place was spotless & the chairs were comfy & in excellent shape. We were offered bottled water, which I always appreciate! They got right to work & I had two people talking care of me simultaneously: one for my mani & one for my pedi. This was fabulous because my son did not have to wait an eternity for me to be finished! 3 stars *** because my nail polish was old to the point of cracking the very next day & peeling three days later. My nail edges were also rough to the point of me needing to file them so they would stop catching on all my clothing. I realize that they possibly have no way of knowing a polish is old, but one would like to hope that being professionals, they would have some kind of idea/knowledge about it. Also, my son's cuticles peeled pretty bad from the mani, to the point of tearing & bleeding a little & it caused him some discomfort from it. Both of our Pedis were nicely done though. Just okay. I got taken in as a walk in gel manicure and gel pedicure. Pedicure was perfect but the lady who did my manicure was rushing as soon as she saw someone she knew walk in. I totally get regulars are important but rushing through the job to get to them sucked for me. I had to keep asking her to fix certain parts on my nails Ex) making sure the white of the French tip actually extended all the way across the nail I had to ask her to fix multiple nails for the same problem and after multiple times I could tell she was getting upset at me.... I wish she just did it in the first place so I didn't have to ask and get her angry. So I guess overall depends on who you get. read more

I have a coworker who lives up north and whenever she comes down, we have girl time! We spontaneously came to Divine Nails one day after work and loved them so much, we keep coming back. The staff here is welcoming and professional. For those who care, they speak English here so no worries on communication barriers. On most of our visits I get their namesake service: The Divine Pedicure ($42). I really appreciate the advanced function massaging spa pedicure chairs they have and I love that they have disposable plastic covers for the pedicure tub. The divine pedicure comes with your typical nail and cuticle care and polish. On top of that you get a heel exfoliation, callus treatment, tropical scrub, 15 minute massage and hot towel treatment. That additional massage is exactly what my feet needs after a long day of wearing high heels to business meetings. I have had a feel of their staff work on my pedicure, but the most memorable is Cathy. All of our experiences have been clean and thorough. My coworker especially love how well they take care of her cuticles. This is definitely one of our go-to spot for girl time. I actually came back recently since my nail broke and the spot I usually went to for gel manicures for over a decade closed down because of the pandemic. Love that they have a wide selection of gel polish, multiple reputable brands. I got a Gel Manicure ($33) with Cathy. She was super thorough with the service and my nails look fantasticccccc. Just in time to look fabulous for the Rams game this week. Walk ins are welcomed, but reservations will guarantee you can get in without waiting too long. Our first time here today because I didn't want to drive far to our regular nail shop in Garden Grove due to the weather. They did not charge me since I wasn't satisfied with the service. I did leave the man a $40 tip since service was provided. He left my teens cuticles and nails raw and bloody. We were there for acrylics with French tips. We were there 2.5 hours. If the person was new it should have been communicated so we can decide if we want them to do our nails or not. I wanted to pay so I could have proof of services in case my teen's nails got infected. They said to come back if any issues and there shouldn't be any issues but didn't give me any names. I'm assuming the lady that spoke for the older man was the owner or manager. read more

I really wanted acrylic almond-shaped French tip chrome with pearls, but when they went to put the pearls on it didn't look right on my tiny baby fingers, so they got creative and created what looked like pearls using white polish and chrome, amazing! These lasted over a month but I finally had to get them taken off because they're too long for me! I called and made an appt on the phone. guy was very nice so that was fine. when I got there they had me sit there for like 5 minutes and they werent busy. place is pretty generic no fancy drcor or anything. good selection of gel colors. worker was nice never told me her name. she actually offered me water. overall I got a gel manicure and parafin hand wax for $38 not bad. Went in for a manicure with my husband and while his nail tech did a superb job on his, mine could not seem less interested in the quality of my manicure and as if he was rushing to get it done and move on. I was nicked multiple times while getting my cuticles removed and bled a bit on a few of my fingers. His response was to dump alcohol on it, which was insanely painful and stung. I showed a photo of the thin French tip design I was aiming for and it ended up looking like a child painted it on. The final product was messy cuticles, residue all over my hands, and a pathetic effort to do a French tip. Would not recommend to any friends or anyone to get their nails done at this salon. I hate leaving bad reviews but I do not understand how this place has such great reviews. I went in for a full acrylic set with French tips and specifically asked for a deep smile line. I showed the picture and she said she would be able to do it. My nails weren't even the same length (left finger vs right finger). The acrylic was applied unevenly, my nails were super lumpy. As she applied the white nail polish, she got a little lazy and did it really fast and just used a q-tip with remover to try and clean up the smile line which is why some of them are blurry and not a clean line. Using the remover on the white also made the white polish go into the natural looking side so the acrylic there became cloudy. I went to Kim since I saw a good review recently but this was not a good experience. I feel bad because she's so nice and sweet but I went home and shaved it all down. read more
