Aside from their work being flawless, the peace of mind that I have with the level of sanitation only solidifies the reason that I come here to spend money. Experience 10000/10. Ami did my pedicure & Russian hard gel manicure. She was very detailed and took her time with such detail. You can tell she puts all heart in her craft. The salon is very intimate, it was a moment for me to decompress from my busy schedule. It's definitely an investment and a treat, as this is not a regular mani/ pedi place. I was offered different drinks when I entered, and asked again during my manicure. This was a longer service, which is enclosed when booking and my gal really took that time. Let's not forget they realized on their end I was overcharged on accident which I did not even realize & immediately they told me. I gave this salon another chance after previous booking frustrations because the nail quality itself can be beautiful. Unfortunately, this experience confirmed the same underlying issues. I initially reached out via Instagram DM asking about Thursday or Friday availability for a hard gel manicure and pedicure with a detailed design (charms, individual art on each nail). I sent the inspiration photo in advance and specifically asked which service to book and how long it would take to ensure enough time was scheduled. I was told this type of design would be better suited for Monday at 2pm with a specific artist. Shortly after, they asked if I could instead come in earlier at 10am on Monday, and I said yes Before confirming, I asked how long the design would take. I was told approximately 2.5 hours max with the design. The morning of my appointment, I let them know I was running about 10 minutes late. When I arrived and showed the exact same inspo photo that had already been approved, the nail tech informed me there wouldn't be enough time because she had another client at 12pm. From 10am to 12pm is not 2.5 hours, even accounting for me being 10/15 minutes late. So the issue wasn't lateness. The issue was that the appointment was never scheduled for the full time they themselves quoted. I tried to adjust and offered to simplify the design to just one accent nail with the gems from the inspo photo. I was then told they didn't have the gems needed. This was frustrating because the photo had been sent in advance specifically to confirm feasibility. If certain materials weren't available, that should have been communicated before booking. To clarify, I even asked whether the earlier 10am slot they moved me to was actually appropriate for this design, because it didn't seem aligned with the original 2.5-hour estimate. The nail tech did attempt to offer the option of coming back later or adjusting, which I appreciated. However, when the front desk staff stepped in to "resolve" the situation, the tone shifted entirely. Instead of taking accountability or offering a real solution, she repeatedly blamed another staff member for the booking error, was dismissive, and did not provide any apology or meaningful resolution. There was no attempt to make it right ,just deflection This is now multiple experiences involving poor scheduling coordination, lack of preparation, and no ownership when mistakes happen. The nail work can be good. But communication, booking accuracy, and professionalism matter just as much, especially at this price point. This was my first time visiting, and I was completely impressed by everything: not only is the environment, welcoming, calm, and upscale, but I was greeted with an offer of tea or water and enjoyed the house vibes music playing. Now that I have tried a Russian manicure I can never go back to doing any other manicure. They really deep clean your cuticles so the manicure looks perfect. I really wanted to like this place but it fell short many times. I've gotten Russian manicure in the past that have lasted me 4 weeks with no chips or cracking. I got a total of 4 manicures here / 2 pedis and each time they have cracked or just chipped within the first week of getting them done. When I could get them fixed they would say oh it's because they're long.... Aren't you the nail professional here? They care more about salon aesthetic and uniforms but not actual nail quality. I even went with the owner Katya and still they managed to crack and chip. Needless to say for $200+ I'd expect much stronger nails. Also one time I had to go in to get my nail fixed ($15) and the nail lady was so passive and felt like it was a burden to do the work ahaha stay so far away from here. I don't use my hands much so it was pretty disappointing for my nails to break so easily. Not to mention, the seats at the manicure table are uncomfortable. This place is official. Excellent work and cozy vibe to it. I had Iana do a gel extension/french tip and it was literally so perfect. The attention to detail was impressive. I called the day of and luckily grabbed a last appointment so I was happy they could fit me in. I'll be returning and bringing my cousin too. If you're tired of all these Orange County nail shops rushing you and doing a whatever job then THIS PLACE is for you! It's def more expensive but you get what you pay for like anything in life. I went to get my nails done here and i come here all the time regularly 2 times a month. The last time i was here the technician did my nails and the pink bled - not sure if the nail polish was bad and got discolored but i asked for the work to be fixed and they refuse to fix the problem after spending 300 on a manicure and pedicure read more
