The staff is always friendly, professional, and pays attention to every detail. My nails always come out looking perfect, and I leave happy every single time. This is the only place willing to do special designs and art as other places are so picky and still want to charge more for basic nails. Puzzled and tired (9 months pregnant) I didn't push back. Note: In the past I've had a gel manicure, 45 minute session and paid $55. Something seemed off with pricing this visit. Something I noticed in this visit that was a complete turn off was how they rinsed the tools in the water my feet and hands were in to use on the next customer. I've always had good experiences here, which is why today was so disappointing. I came in for a gel removal, removal of 2 tips, and a regular manicure. From the beginning, the experience felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. My nail tech was not friendly or welcoming, repeatedly had to ask coworkers questions throughout my service, and seemed unsure of what was on my nails. She kept saying I had hard gel despite me explaining multiple times that it was regular gel and that I had gotten it done at this exact salon only 2 weeks ago. I've also only ever seen this particular employee doing pedicures, so the amount of uncertainty throughout the appointment made me question whether she was comfortable doing manicures. She then attempted to put gel back on my nails even after I had asked for regular polish. After I corrected that, she applied a regular base coat and stopped to have me pay before she would finish painting my nails. I paid for the manicure and removal, and then while she was finishing my polish, I was told I owed another $5 because apparently the removal I had already paid for only covered the 2 tips and not the gel. The extra $5 is not the issue at all. I'm happy to pay for the services I received. It was the poor communication and the way the entire situation was handled. Worst of all, the finished manicure reflects the experience. My nails are jagged, uneven and rough to the touch, and the polish doesn't even reach my cuticles. I left with my nails looking worse than I expected from a professional manicure. They seem to have several new employees recently, and unfortunately my last few visits have left me with the impression that some of the staff may still be learning. I completely understand that everyone has to learn, but clients should not be paying full salon prices while feeling like they are someone's practice appointment, especially without being told beforehand. After coming here consistently for 2 years, I'm genuinely disappointed to feel like I now need to find a new salon.

At my first appointment, I showed a reference photo of exactly what I wanted. The technician never asked me what shape or length I wanted, and I ended up with nails that were completely different from the reference photo. I brought up my concerns that same day, but I was told the manager wasn't there and that there was nothing the staff could do at the time. The next time I came in, I explained everything to the manager. She told me they would correct my nails and make sure I was happy, so I agreed to have them redone. Based on that conversation, I believed they were going to make the situation right. Had I been told beforehand that there would be no adjustment whatsoever for correcting the previous service, I would have simply gone somewhere else. After my nails were redone, no price adjustment was made. On top of that, I noticed I was being overcharged by an additional $10 based on the price of the services I received. When I tried to address everything with the manager, she told me I should have complained on the day of my original appointment and that there was nothing she could do. I explained that I did complain that day, but her employees told me the manager wasn't there. At that point, I stopped disputing the original service and tried to explain that I would pay what they were asking, but that the bill for this visit was still $10 higher than it should have been. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a significant communication disconnect, and I ultimately paid the amount they requested and left. What bothers me most isn't simply that I didn't like my original nails. Mistakes and misunderstandings happen. It's how the situation was handled afterward. I brought up the problem immediately, returned after being told they would correct it and make me happy, and then was later told I should have said something on the original day when I had already done exactly that. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning. If I had known that their idea of "fixing" the situation meant I would still be responsible for the full cost with no adjustment, I would have taken my business elsewhere. The additional $10 overcharge on the second visit only made an already frustrating experience worse.

She pays attention to every detail, her work is beautiful and consistent, and I know every single time I sit down in her chair that I'm going to leave happy. After more than 10 years of appointments, I can honestly say the quality of her work has never changed. She takes pride in what she does, keeps up with all the latest styles and trends, and can pretty much bring whatever idea I have to life. I get compliments on my nails all the time, and I'm always happy to tell people who does them! On top of being incredibly talented, Marie is just a genuinely sweet person and I absolutely adore her.
