I'm really disappointed with how this situation was handled, especially because I gave the salon an opportunity to correct the issue before leaving a review. At my first appointment, I showed a reference photo of exactly what I wanted. The technician never asked me what shape or length I wanted, and I ended up with nails that were completely different from the reference photo. I brought up my concerns that same day, but I was told the manager wasn't there and that there was nothing the staff could do at the time. The next time I came in, I explained everything to the manager. She told me they would correct my nails and make sure I was happy, so I agreed to have them redone. Based on that conversation, I believed they were going to make the situation right. Had I been told beforehand that there would be no adjustment whatsoever for correcting the previous service, I would have simply gone somewhere else. After my nails were redone, no price adjustment was made. On top of that, I noticed I was being overcharged by an additional $10 based on the price of the services I received. When I tried to address everything with the manager, she told me I should have complained on the day of my original appointment and that there was nothing she could do. I explained that I did complain that day, but her employees told me the manager wasn't there. At that point, I stopped disputing the original service and tried to explain that I would pay what they were asking, but that the bill for this visit was still $10 higher than it should have been. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a significant communication disconnect, and I ultimately paid the amount they requested and left. What bothers me most isn't simply that I didn't like my original nails. Mistakes and misunderstandings happen. It's how the situation was handled afterward. I brought up the problem immediately, returned after being told they would correct it and make me happy, and then was later told I should have said something on the original day when I had already done exactly that. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning. If I had known that their idea of "fixing" the situation meant I would still be responsible for the full cost with no adjustment, I would have taken my business elsewhere. My 9 year old nephew could do a better job. I can't speak for everyone who works here but this experience was pretty awful. I should have known I was in for a bad experience when she was too lazy to use nail polish remover to get rid of my old nail polish. When she finished, I was picking polish off my skin and she comes over to ask me why I messed them up. Had I not asked her to clean up them up again, they would look even worse. My nails weren't straight. The nail polish was uneven, the top coat didn't even cover my nails. She did not care one bit which is unfortunate because I had a great previous experience. Maybe there's only specific people you can go to... Note, this is AFTER she tried to fix my toes twice. read more

First of all if you call and ask how much a gel manicure is, they'll tell you it's $35? When you go to pay with your card, you get charged $45 because they think you don't notice and they gladly take your tip on top of it. This place does no hand soaking or massage anymore. What happened to the good old days? When I called him out for overcharging my card they said it was because of the color I chose what a bunch of BS. I've been coming to this salon for a year and never had a problem until now. I came in on a Sunday, and it must be a different crew working that day because they were extremely rude and unaccommodating. They were talking loudly, yelling across the salon, and even saying rude things in front of customers. When I tried to explain what I wanted, they snapped at me and acted like I was bothering them. This place is pretty hit or miss. I once came in an hour before closing for a gel x set and my nail tech was so detail oriented that she stayed back an extra 30min past closing to make sure my nail design matched the inspo photo (worth the entire 35% tip I left her). I recently went back again an hour before closing, this time for a regular gel mani and regular pedi, and by 6:30pm (30min before closing) they were rushing out the door. By 6:45 they had TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS. The tech that did my pedi was trying to get me to pay before i could even get my shoes on and while my hand was still under the curing light. My toes weren't even dry before the nail tech put the foam sandals on me and sent me on my way. When I asked her if they had already dried she said 30 minutes and walked away to the front desk to ring me up. The owner is the sweetest and remembers her customers' names. Pricing is very fair. I typically always spend under 120$ (without tip) for an acrylic fill with gel design/ gel pedicure, you definitely get what you pay for though! I've seen cheaper places but you won't get nearly the same experience or execution anywhere else. I've been to salons where specific workers are better than others but I genuinely believe every employee at Luv is incredible. If you're looking for nail art, gelX, acrylics, pedicures, ANYTHING. She was calm and detailed taking her time between looking at the picture and applying the design to my nails. My pedicure was also great although I didn't catch the gentleman's name. Again, he was calm and detailed; my toes look great and my lotion/massage part was awesome as well. The salon looks super clean and nice.
