I walked in at 11:20 and asked if they had time for a pedicure. They told me yes 10 minutes and to please choose a chair. When I sat down they me it would be 15 minutes. When 35 minutes passed and I was still not getting worked on, I asked a time frame. They told me another person was finishing a top coat on someone else then they'd be right with me. Located next to Coffee Dose. This a small nail salon with about five chairs. We walked in without an appointment and were accommodated immediately. The chairs were massage chairs. My simply pedicure experience took about 30-35 minutes (excluding drying time). Nail ladies were kind and struck casual conversation (but not too much, in a good way; I like to relax). I get pedicures often and in many places I work in a preschool as a teacher and at my job I walk a lot and after a working day my legs are tired. Today my daughter and I accidentally saw this nail salon and liked how it looked from the outside. We went inside. We were warmly welcomed inside. Salon compact and neat. I got a Tracy pedicure. I called to schedule a gel manicure and pedicure with a couple of tips for broken nails. They said it was fine to come in. Then when I'm in the chair partially through a manicure they tell me no one can do tips. Waste of time now coming here and have to go somewhere else afterwards to get a manicure. read more

Definitely won't be coming here again. There's a sign for 32 dollars for mani-pedi, hot oil, hot lotion massage, . I asked for acrylics and she gave me a price I said great. I was a walk in, but it took over 30 minutes before they started the pedicure, finished the pedicure, no hot lotion, no hot oil, regular polish. Waited 15 minutes before they were going to start my acrylics. I realized I didn't have time so I said gel. No big deal. Except the paint job was bad. And they charged me more for gel and pedicure than they had quoted me for the acrylic and pedicure. Polish isn't great. It has bubbles and it's uneven and it's see through. I was going to do engagement photos today, but now I'm going to remove the polish for my photos. read more

KV is a nice little nail salon tucked in a corner below Original Pizza II. I don't have a favorite girl that I go to, but always get a good mani/pedi. The $34 special is hard to beat. I got an ombré design done with gel nails, it initially looked amazing but started chipping after 3 days. They nail polish they used for the ombré was different and didn't last well with the gel polish. After a week it completely chipped off. I came inn and they said they would not be able to fix it. I'm really disappointed that my gel nails didn't last past a week. read more

I gave it 2 stars because the place is clean and well kept BUT I have been here a couple times and yesterday was the last time. I went in for a regular gel mani & pedi. My toes were done in a timely manner, my manicure took over 40 mins!!! I have had a full set of acrylics done quicker. It took so long I had to leave before I could even get the hand massage. On top of that it was $70 for a gel mani & pedi. Again, I've had a full set of acrylics put on with gel and a pedicure for the same amount of money or less. I truly don't like giving negative reviews and very rarely do but I just wanted to give customers a heads up. read more

They don't ask how I want my nails shape and start shaping them and it's too late to say anything and file my nails down so thin that they're breaking 3 days after I get them done. I hate to admit it, but it has been probably over a year since I have gotten a manicure or pedicure. I figured doing my nails myself would be friendlier to my wallet. Since my brother was getting married and I was in the wedding party, I knew I couldn't do it myself with my nails this time around. Feeling lazy, I just went to KV nails because it is close to my house. I went in on a Thursday afternoon and the place was empty. I got the mani/pedi special for $29. It was a spa mani/pedi with a hot oil massage for my hands and feet and a callous scrub as well. The girls that did my nails were nice and we chatted it up for a good amount of time. I enjoyed watching some soap operas that they had playing. I left with my nails looking great and was happy with my experience with KV nails. Was in CA visiting. So, any place I went to was going to be a gamble. They were able to see me the same day at the time I requested. I got a little worried when I arrived and realized I was the only patron. But, it was early and a few trickled in while I was there. The gals were very nice and took good care of me. I got a pedicure (with hot callous gel $5 extra) and a gel manicure. The massage chair felt really good. Tracy and I had a very pleasant conversation and I left feeling renewed and had gorgeous nails! I waited to write this review to see how they would hold up. I'm happy to tell you that the gels lasted two weeks strong before I started chipping away at them and that was not easy! I will go there next time I'm in the area! read more

Under new ownership! My girl Han is back!! She's amazing at acrylic nails. I used to go to her for years. I have tried about 30 nail salons over the past 2 years and nothing compares to the work these ladies do! They have brand new spa chairs that are 100% sanitized! Plastic liners, disposable tubes on the tub rather than jets that can get filled with germs, bacteria and fungus! Everything is one time use so no infections on your nails. Very nice upgrades in the salon with modern style. Prices are very reasonable compared to the cities in the area - Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa... Also great nail colors by OPI, Essi, etc. and nice array of gel colors as well. Please check this place out. You will NOT be disappointed!
