As I try to be consistent and when I get to my reviews, it is most important to me to be fair, complete and useful. I studied the available microblading techniques, styles and after care processes. It took many months and YELP searches and finally found this establishment. I knew right away it was the place for me. It was many weeks before I was able to make an appointment as my calendar limited. After booking it online (totally for this process) I received a text asking me preliminary questions as well as requests for screenshots of my brows. Long story short, Denise is a professional. Doing her homework to assure her success and her clients satisfaction. She proceeded to suggest a style and shape and drew it on my brows to show me what it would look like. When I told her I had my own ideas and wanted to look similar to the way my brows were before the over plucking and over shaving and age, she did not necessarily agree with me. But because they're my brows and I explained in detail what I wanted, she went with my request. When she was finished, she was pleased and mentioned she had not done this style but was going to put them as an option to her classic styles. I was scared to do any brow work for all the reasons people avoid this work. I finally bit the bullet and did it. Denise was the perfect person to trust in this. She listened to me and did not make me feel as though I said anything strange. She explained from start to finish clearly what to expect. I did not know about pain associated to this, but because Denise prepared me, it helped to have to some words to describe my experience. I was not scared at all during the work. Denise was meticulous. I appreciated the safety of her methods. We even experienced a light outage at the beginning of the work, she was very calm. It did not last long and we went about our work. Our session ended up being enjoyable as we were able to laugh together over conversation we had. She kept checking in several times to make sure her work is just right, and I liked what I was seeing on my face. I was honest about not knowing about what fits my face even as I had an idea of what I wanted. I truly relied on her expertise to create the right thickness and color brows for my face. There's a lot that goes into forming the proper brows. At the end of it, I was very happy with the shape of my brows. True to her take home care kit, emotions do play havoc on your mind while healing. I took a picture of my face each day, as there were days I liked my brows during the healing process and there were days, I thought my brows were not looking right. The pictures helped to know my brows stayed exactly the same shape. Yes, there was peeling and some weird experiences for me because it's my first time with all this beauty stuff. But otherwise, the healed brows looked much like what I liked when I finished on the first day. Consequently, I added what my brows looked like even 5 weeks after initial make-over. Denise was responsive via text when I got worried. She provided assurance that was believable. I feel very glamorous with my new brows. Great experience with micro blading/shading combo with Denise! Very easy online booking process and Denise followed up to confirm via text right away. She was patient in explaining the difference between micro blading vs. shading, designing the shape, and choosing the color of the pigment. I did find micro blading to be more painful than shading, but definitely tolerable and it was much better once she applied the numbing cream.
