She really takes her time, listens to what you want, and explains everything before she starts. Nothing felt rushed. The results came out incredibly natural -- that was my biggest concern. I didn't want anything that looked stamped on or overly done. She enhanced my brows in a way that still looks like me, just cleaner and more put together. I have to say I was very impressed by Seryeon. I've been to many permanent makeup places over the years, and she definitely stands out and knows her craft. The business located within a medical building, and it is very clean and professional setting. I got the eyeliner done and am very happy with the results. I had combo microblading and shading done by Ms. Seryeon Lee, and I'm loving the results! She beautifully covered an old faded tattoo that had turned a slight greenish hue (ick!) and suggested a slightly updated shape - a tad thicker with the ends angled a bit higher - which gives my face a fresher, more balanced look. Ms. Lee is incredibly skilled and meticulous. She checked my face from different angles, had me review each stage of the process, and made sure everything fit my features perfectly and that I was satisfied with the progress. I could feel how carefully she drew each stroke, and there was virtually no pain. Her assistant, Sophia, was warm, attentive, and very helpful throughout the appointment/procedure. But I noticed the shape wasn't complimenting my face nor it was symmetrical after... I went to Seryeon after doing my research and hearing "too many" good reviews from my friends more than a year ago. I'm so glad I did. She is perfect! She examined my face - How my face moved and recommended what would work the best for my face. I'm so glad I listened to her. I have keloid skin so I have to be extra careful for any procedures like this as well. Even after a year I totally stand by her decision and skills. I went to this place for my eyebrow and hairline tattoo. I had previously gotten an eyeliner tattoo, but it was fading and revealing a strange red tone underneath. My eyebrows now look natural and symmetrical--she completely covered the red areas. She listened carefully to my vision, and my eyebrows turned out perfectly. Initially, I chose a microblading style for a natural look. However, during my retouch appointment, I was advised to switch to a shading style because of my skin type, which is somewhat resistant to ink. I believe this was a good decision, as my eyebrows still look natural. I also had high hopes for correcting my hairline, which is unusually high due to genetics. We first tried microblading, but the results looked unnatural. She then took the time to make a couple of revisions--alternating between microblading and shading--until the hairline met my expectations. I truly felt that she cared about satisfying her clients. Additionally, she kindly spent extra time removing an eyeliner tattoo that someone else had botched years ago. I found her to be very professional and kind-hearted. The studio is clean, cozy, and exudes professionalism. I will definitely keep coming back for my eyebrow and hairline work. I seldom write reviews as well, but I had to for this experience because I am *so thankful* that I chose MS Beauty over the other three options I narrowed down to. I'm about 2 months out, and I'm still so amazed by how natural the end results look. My friends actually didn't notice that I got my eyebrows done, so when I told them, they were shocked and couldn't believe how subtle and natural it looked. They simply thought I had my normal eyebrow "makeup" on. Now that's what I call a winner! Moreover, the artist took her time to explain the process, laid out the pros/cons of the different techniques, why she recommends one technique over the other, and she *truly* took her time while doing my eyebrows. I've gotten my eyebrows done before, but her meticulous skills and precision are unmatched without a doubt. Her friend who's also a permanent makeup artist (sorry, I don't recall your name! super sorry.) also did my hairline, filling in some sparse areas, and I love it! Thank you so much as well! Hmm..wish I had good things to say, but sadly all I have to report is absolutely nothing. I first made contact about a month ago. I was about to make an appointment in Nov '21 but got super busy as life does sometimes (especially this summer - how did it go by so fast?). So, I contacted MS again a little over two days ago and asked for an appt in January '22. Noticed my message was read w/in a few hrs, but nothing. Kept checking still nothing. Then today, finally decided to call. I left a message. No call back. Then, I notice MS posting new photos of customers and a thank you I'm fully booked for 2021 lol instead of getting back to me!! Sorry, but this isn't going to work. Honestly and sincerely, good luck w/ your biz. Update: MS "day after day"? You contacted me twice and no response thereafter. While it is correct (which I admit in my review) that I did not get back to you bc I was busy, you missed the point. The point is that you had enough time to upload pictures on your Yelp profile but did not have enough time to get back to me. Further, I'd like to point out that you had enough time to draft a pretty lengthy response but still have not offered any apologies privately and decided to rather "explain" the reasoning for your delay publicly. And the "consult" was just me sending you a picture of myself. I think it's funny you say you reserve spots only for "serious" inquiries implying that I'm not serious. I asked for a call back so I can ask questions re: the procedure. This is permanent makeup which requires incisions be made on my face. One should surely be informed before undergoing such a procedure. I hope you want that for your customers as well but that philosophy is not consistent w/ our interactions w/ one another since you were noticeably unresponsive to my "serious" inquiry. Please take this as constructive criticism bc I truly meant what I said and really do wish you the best. If you want positive while still maintaining truthful reviews on Yelp (since I do note most are from ppl with very little reviews) try working a bit more on your business etiquette. I went in for a touch up more than a year later and I am still extremely satisfied. The color faded to a lighter grey and didn't turn into any weird colors and I believe this is due to the plant based pigments she uses. Even though my color was faded, there was still enough pigment left I could follow with a pencil. I think if I had no longer wanted to ink my brows anymore they would have faded completely in another year. Brow trends have changed, I am still extremely satisfied with my eyebrow shape -- they fit my face, they look natural, and that is timeless. I had such a great microblading experience with Ms. Seryeon! I have very sparse and light eyebrows (runs in my family), and I have been wanting to get them microbladed for a while. I'm so glad I took my time and did research to find Ms. Seryeon. The procedure went very well. She played calming music in the background which was very relaxing. I laid on a comfortable bed with pillows and blankets. The procedure lasted about 2 hours. For me, the drawing and shaping of my eyebrow took about 30 min while the microblading and microshading took about an hour and a half. Thanks to the numbing cream, the pain was very minimal. The "pain" was more of a sharp sting feeling, which I felt more of during the microshading process. The translator she has is incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about microblading as well. I really appreciated this, because the translator was my means of communication with Ms. Seryeon. I was able to speak to Ms. Seryeon as well, but I believe she relies on her translator to communicate more clearly about her clients' wants and needs. Because of this, the translator comes in handy. They are a great team! Cleanliness is always a big deal for me. Not only is her office visually appealing, but it is also incredibly clean and organized! Her experience work ethics are great, and I am satisfied with my eyebrows. I am still in the healing process, which means they are bolder and darker.
