Seriously love my eyebrows, they look so natural. Ms Seryeon took her time drawing my eyebrows, it was a very intricate process. She really does want your brows to look the best. The microblading process was painless, honestly felt like a slight tickle. Took about 2 hours total. I am so lucky that MS Beauty opened in tustin/irvine. I've been researching microblading salons for a really long time but was really annoyed that all the reputable places are in LA and I absolutely hate traffic. Ms Beauty is on jamboree & smack in the middle of the marketplace. She's definitely a perfectionist - majority of the time spent perfecting the shape of the brow with pencil versus the actual tattoo. I had the microblade plus the shadowing combo for $300 total. I have almost zero brow hair, so she really had to use her artistic talents to conjure something up. She's very professional, sweet and genuine about wanting to do her best job. I'll be back in Jan for my eyeliner tattoo. I've had trichotillomania since I was 13 years old, which is an OCD spectrum disorder that leads to me pulling out my eyelashes and eyebrows compulsively especially with stress. Ms. Seryeon is hands down THE BEST!!!!! I've been waiting years to get microshading/ombre due to having my eyebrows previously microbladed. My previous artist should have informed me that microblading was not ideal for my oily skin type, which resulted in me wasting $$$ on microblading only for it not to last. I'm meticulous and a perfectionist regarding symmetry, so when I was browsing for an eyebrow artist, I paid attention to whether they produced even eyebrows, a smooth gradient/transition so that the eyebrows did not appear like stamps, and shaping that ideally suited their clients' faces. Since my eyebrows have always been uneven, I knew that making them symmetrical would be challenging. However, Ms. Seryeon had acute attention to detail, ensured that the measurements of my eyebrows were correct, and revised any minor misalignment to ensure they were perfectly even. I greatly appreciated that she took her time to produce the eyebrows I had wanted, all with a positive, friendly, and upbeat attitude. I could tell she is passionate about her work and that seeing her clients happy with her results is rewarding. I am thrilled that I finally found my eyebrow artist, and hope she doesn't relocate!! Other pros of her practice: her pricing is beyond reasonable, especially when considering her credentials, expertise, and skillset; her clinic is very clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye; parking is convenient; location is in a plaza with restaurants in case you want to kill time by grabbing some food. I was supposed to get my eyebrows done last May in Taipei but due to the Covid situation by the time I finished government mandated hotel quarantine all the business was closed. I am here to write a review about my microblading/microshading experience with Ms Seryeon today. I have to say I am 110% satisfied and happy with her work :) Like other reviewers said, Ms Seryeon is a perfectionist in her job. She asked me if I like any specific shape; also, she gave me recommendations on which shape would fit with my face. Ms Seryeon would draw very carefully until the two eyebrows are even before she started microblading process. The process took about 2 hours. The numbing cream Ms Seryeon applied on in the beginning worked very well on me. I didn't feel hurt at all throughout the whole process. After the process was done, she also gave me after-care instructions for my eyebrows. I must say I look prettier after I got my eyebrows microbladed by Ms Seryeon lol. Life changing. I have been going back-and-forth on whether or not to do micro blading for years. YEARS. I thought long and hard about it because it's your face! Eyebrows make, or break your face. They shape how you look and how you feel. When your eyebrows are on Fleek, you feel that way too. I'm so thankful I went to Ms. beauty bc she truly has talent. She learned her skills from Korea and brought them to lovely southern California. I had very light eyebrows so she didn't have much to work it. It took some time to get the shape I wanted, but ultimately she made every hair look realistic. I had no hair near the front part of my brows and now I do! The hair strokes literally look like real hairs. It's insane. I think she tends to draw them more Korean style but you can tell her what style you want if you already have an idea. MS Beauty really is as good as everyone says... ignore the overly-negative reviews from picky Karens who think the world revolves around them (I've worked in customer service for 9 years now and know how it goes). I think their popularity and small team is part of why it can sometimes be a "hassle" to get an appointment, but I've waited two years before finally deciding to book an appointment a few months ago, and I 100% recommend doing it. It is worth the wait, and it is worth the price (which is a lot lower than other microblading clinics). Even then, it was not at all difficult to get an appointment. I simply texted them (end of May) asking for a spot, was put on a waitlist, contacted end of June for an appointment offer in early September, I then sent my $50 deposit and screenshotted it and sent it to MS Beauty, and that was it. No hassle at all, honestly. Just expect to wait for an appointment at this super popular clinic. I am absolutely in love with my new eyebrows!!! Seryeon did a fantastic job with my microshading. I initially wanted the combination microblading and microshading; however, my previous eyebrows' tattoos did not allow this. They were just too dark for microblading and Seryeon was really honest about it. My previous tattoo job was messy and asymmetrical, and she fixed them and made them so much better. Another plus, she has a translator to make your experience smoother! In case you are wondering, the whole job took approximately 2 hours, so make sure to hit the loo first.
