She asked me to give her a few appointments to get them back in shape. By appointment 2 they were looking GREAT! She is patient, explained the entire process along the way, and is extremely professional and continues to educate herself. On the second appointment she offered tinting. I've been going to Erica for two years, and I truly love her eyebrow work -- I've always made sure to tell her that. Even after moving to San Diego, I continued to travel all the way to Newport Beach just to see her because I valued her skill so much. Erica knew it was my first appointment ever doing this service so she explained the entire process to me as she was doing it which I really appreciated. So let me start off by saying I've been going to Erica for years. As long as I have lived in OC, she has been my go to eyebrow lady. I drive 45-min, pre-book reservations weeks in advance & have only ever been late once. 1st time I met her, I was 7min late. She scolded me like a child, but I understood. I was never late again. Actually, from then on out, for over 4 years, I was early or on time, And for years, Erica has been late. I have lost count of how many times SHE has kept me waiting. 5min here, I0min there, once I waited over 20min past my appointment time, but I didn't care, I loved her work, I understood life happens and I assumed if push came to shove, the same courtesy would be shown to me. 90% of the time, I'm left waiting for her. My time is placed on hold and NEVER have I ever complained. Fast forward to today. It's my 30th birthday tomorrow, I scheduled a nail appointment for 10am, and then took way longer than expected, over 2 hours. I communicated with Erica the first text I was running about 10min late, no problem she said. I quickly realized soon after I was going to be 20min late (appointment was 12:30). I communicated again my eta was 12:50 and she responded "thank you for communicating" I raced from the nail salon to Newport, over 20min in traffic, I show up and she gives me a dumbfounded look that she wasn't expecting me. Apparently she assumed by my text I wasn't coming after all. She told me she couldn't take me. She's too busy and HER TIME IS VALUABLE. She wouldn't bend, fit me in, nothing. For years, I have been an amazing client. I'm patient, I listen to her talk shit on almost every other client & I tip her $20-$30 each time because I love her work. I easily spend $70-$90 on just eyebrow tint and wax, at least 1 every month or so, for over 4 years. What I don't love is her personality. She gives off a superiority self righteous complex that was always hard for me to get past. She comes across that she doesn't need any client, she's better than everyone and we need her. I have made an extra effort to always be kind and tip well. What's the point if your never given any courtesy back? Yes, I was late, but why wasn't I told I couldn't be assisted when I texted instead of "thank you for communicating? She let me drive over an hour total for nothing to happen. I offered to come back, she said no. I have never felt so un accommodated in my life. I explained my situation, kept in communication, offered to return, anything and was shut down. I wasn't even given my deposit back, fine whatever, but for every time I waited for Erica, she has wasted over 200 minutes of my time by every time she has kept me waiting, but 27min in 4 years is too much her? Soooo her time is valuable but mine isn't? She can keep me waiting but In over 4 years she won't make any exception for me? This bridge is so far burnt, I don't care how good you are at your job, having basic kindness and understanding is the foundation for having a productive business. So wasted an hour drive, out my $25 deposit. I've never been so upset and dissatisfied before in my life. read more

I've been a lifelong threader and have progressively been on the hunt for someone that doesn't give me inconsistent results, over threads, makes my eyebrows uneven, or gives me a terrible shape with no arch. She has been blessed by the Brow Gods. I came in with practically no eyebrows, really messed up shape, and some patches. Then "Bammm" I see her and come out looking amazing!!! Some people might complain that it's too expensive and you can get them threaded for $7. Remember you get what you pay for. So when your eyebrows come out looking like distant cousins, don't complain sis. She does use stencils, to some it might bother you but trust whatever she is doing, it works. You come out looking like a queen! Sooo don't criticize her for her methods until you actually get your brows done by her because when you come out looking on fleek it won't matter what she used.
