I've had allergic reactions in the past and ended up with red eyes for the first couple days, but I'm about 2 hours post lashes and my eyes feel great! If you've ever had top-notch lash extensions, you will probably be very disappointed with these…read more With my previous lash artist, my extensions looked and felt so natural that I could brush through them just like real lashes. There was no noticeable buildup of glue, and each extension was carefully applied to an individual natural lash. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The extensions were applied with what felt like a very large amount of glue, creating noticeable clumps. Rather than delicately attaching each extension to an individual lash, they seemed to be laid on in heavier sections. The result was lashes that hung downward and looked limp, which I assume was partly due to the weight of the glue. Trying to brush through them was extremely unpleasant--it felt like brushing through a barbed-wire fence. Another issue was the placement. Very few lashes were applied toward the inner corners near the nose, leaving that area looking sparse and unfinished. Most of the extensions were concentrated toward the outer ends. My previous lash artist covered the entire lash line, creating a much fuller and more balanced look. The process itself was also concerning. Scotch tape was used to protect my lower lashes, which was honestly horrifying and not something I had experienced before. She had the strips taped to her arm to weaken the stickiness (I assume), then pulled each off and applied it to the lower lid, which is pretty gross considering it pulls skin cells off which are now taped to your EYE. Overall, if you're accustomed to high-quality, meticulous lash work, I would look elsewhere. If you're looking for something cheap and average, though, she probably won't disappoint.

I recently visited Ruby Luu for a brow service, hoping to achieve a well-defined and flattering brow shape. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I left feeling extremely disappointed with the results. To start with, the service I received was subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked professionalism. They barely acknowledged me upon arrival and seemed to rush through the entire process. As a customer, I expected to be treated with respect and given individual attention, but that was clearly lacking during my visit. Moreover, the brow specialist who attended to me appeared inexperienced and lacked the necessary skills for shaping brows properly. Despite my clear instructions on the shape and thickness I desired, the technician disregarded them and proceeded to reshape my brows in a completely different way. The end result was far from what I had envisioned and was definitely not flattering. It was evident that the technician didn't possess the expertise required to achieve a precise and aesthetically pleasing brow shape. Not only were the results disappointing, but the overall cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired. The workstations appeared unkempt, and the tools used during the procedure did not seem adequately sanitized. The poor results, combined with the lackluster service and unhygienic environment, made the whole experience a regrettable waste of both time and money. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking professional and well-executed brow services. DO NOT COME HERE FOR TRAINING I am extremely disappointed and feel obligated to warn anyone considering taking a microblading or permanent makeup course here: please stay away. I trusted Ruby Luu (Luu Thuy Hong) after seeing her online advertisements and photos, and I paid $2,000 for her training program. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a costly mistake. She completely lacks the ability to teach in a clear, structured, and professional manner. There was no proper curriculum, no detailed explanations, and no real guidance. It became obvious that she is only interested in taking students' money rather than truly helping them learn. On top of her poor teaching, she was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She asked me to come to her salon and then left me waiting for 3-4 hours while she worked on other clients. When I tried to discuss my concerns, she was rude, dismissive, and took no responsibility for her misleading promises. This was one of the worst learning experiences I have ever had. If you value your money, time, and professional growth, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. I had been confusing for a while to find a place to get my brows done. Until I met Ms Ruby 5 years ago in Vietnam, I knew that was a good decision. I went back to Vietnam couple times to see her and now she's here, a little closer, still 2 hours away from me. But that's worthy because my brows always look natural and beautiful. She did great work for the price of 80-145$ depending on how long I had gone without an appointment. I never paid more than 150$ even at 5 weeks and that's with a 21% tip. She did however often missing areas and the lashes started falling off within a week of a visit not each time but frequently. I went 4 months without an appointment due to allowing my lashes a break and to grow naturally with vitamin. When I came back naturally, I guess I expected her to remember my lash style after having me as a client for four years and following her to new beginnings. Unfortunately, this was not the case when I sat in her chair she finished my lashes with a regular thin lash. I paid normal 166.75 that was including a 21% tip. I messaged her a day later asking for another appointment to give a full thick lash style. She charged an extra 25$ . . Which I was OK with as services are not free and I should've mentioned while in her chair.. 3weeks later I asked for another appointment.. scheduling conflicts prevented, and it took a week extra to get a scheduled appointment. I actually had to reach out to her because she ignored.My efforts to schedule an appointment before the 4 weeks mark . She proceeded to do my eyelashes with a hybrid cat eye. Completely satisfied as always with her work , never expecting perfection or complain about her work ethic she handed the payment device with a total amount of 189.75$ for a full hybrid cat eye with a 15% tip ... I was in shock as I was only prepared to pay my 120-140$ for a new full set ... Very upset and having to contact family to send an extra 60 for completing the service she provided .. we went back-and-forth on the amount I typically pay... I left letting her know she has lost a five-year client and she should inform people if prices go up.
