I asked for a natural set with more length, less volume and got an amazing 3D wispy set that looks like a good mascara day. It was $100 with the first time discount and took less than 2 hours. I'm usually uncomfortable on those lash tables, but the calming music and waterfall sounds literally put me to sleep! I also appreciate the private room with a table to put your stuff on. Sometimes the way they put on the lash tape hurts, but the artist was very professional and definitely knew what she was doing. I've had allergic reactions in the past and ended up with red eyes for the first couple days, but I'm about 2 hours post lashes and my eyes feel great! On a super random note, I tend to break out easily, so I appreciated the tissue on my forehead so her hand wouldn't touch my sensitive skin. I just HAVE to applaud 3D Lash Spa for how incredibly kind they are! They are located on a one way street by the freeway, which is a long street; I missed the turn and had to do a whole loop which took about 8 minutes. I felt so embarrassed because no one wants to be late to an appointment but it happened to me! They were still nice enough to take me in although I technically arrived late. They were transparent with pricing and informed me of the fee to remove my last set PRIOR to the new set, so I was not shocked by the fee at the end of the appointment. The vibes were relaxing too. My best advice: bring a photo example of what you want, rather than a verbal description (even a pic + explanation = nope, don't do it). That's how I achieved my most recent set of lashes, despite previous difficulties due to a language barrier. For you Yelpers, I've dealt with everything from extreme lashes that were blown away with a breeze, to lashes so bare I felt like a born-again baby gerbil (not necessarily in the best way, but at least not bimbo-status). I've trial and error'd this place at least 5 times, so you don't have to suffer. Nope, you get the luxury of fast-forwarding to the good part. At long lash, I've found my happily ever after. Although the extension process feels painfully long (especially for impatients like me), ambient zen music and cushy, comfy chairs in private rooms create a meditative environment. And these baddies last. It is BEYOND worth it to lounge for less than 2 hours and pay less than $200 for eyelashes that last over a month. The fact that I can wake up early and be ready to teach Pilates is gold! Sweet and talented magic-makers for looks you'll love, solid prices, and lashes that last for days on weeks on end. Everything I said in my review is the truth. As a business owner, you should know that serving clients means having properly trained and qualified staff. I told you that I had a full day of meetings the next day and didn't have time to come back just to remove the lashes. No customer wants to waste over two hours in your salon plus another hour for the round trip just to get a "free one day lash". I've had lash extensions for over ten years, so I definitely know the difference between qualified work and poor workmanship. I've read your replies to other negative reviews, and it's clear you never take responsibility for your salon's mistakes. Before Valentine's Day, I came to 3D lash spa to get lashes done by Angel. I was a little early than my appointment time. All the ladies who work there are friendly and make sure I'm doing good while waiting. Angel is very friendly and professional; she always reminds me to close my eyes and do the aftercare. The main problem, in my experience, is that Julie - the only person there this Saturday around noon - speaks insufficient English and is hard to comprehend. I used a full set groupon for a 1 wk fill. I tried to explain they had to last 2 weeks. But she responded with some incomprehensible tech talk and lash photo's. I pointed to the most natural and shortest ones. She was careful with the glue and - good sign - I nearly fell asleep. She barely added any lashes to the left eye and the lashes she added to the right eye are way longer than the ones on the left eye. That's a problem because they don't hold as long on my thin original lashes. At checkout I gave her my groupon print out. But she wanted me to open the app and pay again?? Ugh. Asking about next refills, she quoted very elevated prices. Oh well, next place! I do not understand why some of those lash places go thru great lengths to attract new customers. Then, instead of trying to retain them with competitive prices, try to overcharge, so we don't go back. I will update how long the lashes lasted, because that was my main concern. read more
