I really love my volume lashes. I got from Kaylee (I think?!) at the OC Lashes loft! I really only get lash extensions for large vacations, or events, because they don't typically last too long on me. That's still the case here, my volume set Lashes pretty much lasted a week and a half, little Lashes would fall out first, but overall the lashes I got, didn't fall out in a super clumpy way this time, very even. It might be different for everyone. My lash stylist was so friendly, super sweet, talk to me through different sizes and showed me photos from her phone and even the lashes that we're done on her self. She was very kind and helpful. She also Drew out my lash line and showed me the different sizes that were put on each area, which is extremely helpful for someone like me who only gets lashes done every six months or so! I'm going back for a fill this afternoon, because they are so gorgeous and not heavy at all for my eye, I definitely will be coming back here for future events/vacations read more

She was very accommodating and offered me water etc. She makes sure you feel comfortable and the lash bed is very cozy. They have the best playlist here, I fell asleep half way through because I felt that relaxed. After the session I looked at the mirror and fell in love. Take my money Ms. Janeiro! I haven't been to a studio this clean, professional, and inviting since living on the east coast in NYC and Boston. Upon entering you'll notice that the entire premises are impeccably clean, and stylishly decorated. I had an excellent first session with Janeiro - she listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered! I prefer my lashes pretty natural looking and not too curly, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Full without looking fake! I like when my fiancé can barely tell I got anything done and just compliments me on how nice I look ;) I found OC lash loft by looking specifically for a studio that does individual lashes and not just volume (although they do offer volume sets if that's your thing!) and checking that they offer j curl - not too curly please! It's such a shame I have to write this review considering I was a longtime happy customer, but after the customer service I received, I will most likely be never coming back. I have always been satisfied with how my lashes turn out, my usual lash tech is Janeiro and she always does a fabulous job. I have also booked with Kailyn who also does an amazing job, her sets always look neat and perfect. I had an appointment booked for a lash touch-up with Kailyn on a Friday. I get a text two days before the appointment letting me know that her schedule is changing and that I won't be able to come in. Mind you, I have to book appointments weeks in advance to get the lash tech that I want but I say whatever it's fine and they gave me different time options anyway. However, it was not going to be with my original lash tech since their schedule is fully booked. I figured oh well what else am I going to do on such short notice and Janeiro wasn't available either so I agree on a new appointment time with a different technician. I have had her once before and my lashes turned out fine but nothing to rave or complain about. Anyway, I have my appointment and it's going fine, throughout it though my eyes were stinging a little bit but whatever it happens I guess...I'm noticing she's brushing my left lashes a lot but I don't think much of it. Anyway, she finishes my lashes, I go out to pay, then I'm out the door. I found it a little strange she didn't hand me a mirror for me to take a look at them after she was done like they normally do but I was running late so I didn't bother to stop and look. I get home and look at my lashes and they were sooo uneven it was laughable. One eye had lashes that looked way longer specifically one chunk right in the middle that's sticking up higher than the rest (now I knew why she was brushing them out so much...) I try brushing them out and try to force the lashes to look a bit more even and I do my best to make do with what I got. Nothing was poking me but the lashes didn't feel as comfortable as they normally do, it kind of felt harder maybe it was the glue? either way, it just didn't feel as nice and luxurious for what I'm paying for (I expect these kind of lashes if I'm going to a cheap place, not a $200 set..) On top of that one eye felt very irritated and was becoming red but I slept on it thinking it would get better over night. However, it did not. It was still red, I had multiple people comment on my red eye to ask if it was ok and all day they just feel so uncomfortable. I get my usual follow-up text from them asking how the service was. I give them my rating and a review of what's going on, and the next day I get a call and a voicemail from them. On the phone, I explain further how my lashes are and I told her I wanted them removed because they felt so uncomfortable so she squeezes me in at the end of the day to get it removed, by the same tech since no one else is available. It really seemed like they were trying to do me right by accomodating my request but NO, at the end when I'm done they want me to pay 40 bucks for the removal, absolutely ridiculous! I spent $100 for a horrible touch up and now I'm expected to pay for the removal too?! I've been to salons where if they mess up my lashes they refund me, remove the lashes, and apply a whole new set at no charge (shout out to Elegant Lashes by Katie) Now I'm left with no lashes and down $140. I had 2 more appointments booked for future touch-ups (like I said, I need to book way in advance for specific lash techs) but I will be canceling those and will not be returning. It is such a shame cuz when they do get it right, my lashes come out absolutely beautiful. But honestly, it is not worth it for how they treat customers who aren't satisfied. read more

I don't understand how they got such a high review. I got an eyelash extensions refill, and lost about half of the extensions in three days! I attached the pictures from day 2& 3, on the first day I didn't think it would keep happening so I didn't take any picture. But I lost a lot on the first day. If you look carefully, you can see that there are only 2 out of 14 eyelash extensions fall outs have my own nature eyelashes attached to it, which means that it's not me losing my own eyelashes, it is a BAD JOB! Not only that, the price was very high compare to other studios, over $135 for just a refill. I consider this service a waste of time and money. I hope this information is helpful for you. read more

Woahhh!! First thing is first, I have to say is my lashes really did come out 10x better than what I was even expecting. Most of the time when getting my lashes, I like something on the more natural side yet still noticeable. Today I had an apportionment with Kaylee. For starters Kaylee was super friendly and super accommodating offering water and making sure I was comfortable. Make sure to come clean for the eyes as it will speed up the preparation for Kaylee! I immediately felt relaxed laying in the lash bed with the lofi music they had playing in the background. Which by the way, the playlist is impeccable with different ranges but soothing to the core. I fell asleep 20 minutes into the service from the soothing music to the soothing bed. I requested to get hybrid since I've never had my lashes done and I didn't want such a dramatic look. I closed my eyes, put my faith into Kaylee and she DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I opened my eyes to looking at such beautiful, elegant lashes. The entire process was wonderful and I had an amazing conversation with Kaylee throughout the services when awoke from my nap! I have been coming here since October of 2017. I did a lot of research before booking my first appointment and I felt most comfortable with Janeiro and her quick response to questions and concerns. My first appointment was with Kailyn, she had just started working there that same month and I was a bit hesitant to book with her because she was new and all...but Janeiro was fully booked so I took a chance. It turns out that chance I took was everything because it's been two years and Kailyn and Janeiro are so good I keep coming back. Kailyn is my main girl but sometimes Janeiro also would refill my lashes too and she's amazing. Both are experts at their craft and lashes is an art not just something anyone can do and be so good at it. They are so gentle and always take their time to make sure you are 100% happy with the results. A few other things about this place that sets them apart: Beautiful and well decorated space...it feels like a spa. The rooms are all private with comfortable "beds" (they aren't beds...but feels like it!) with comfortable blankets for your feet and all. It feels like a relaxing therapy session every time! I am a mom of 3 boys and I literally have no time to put on make up so these lashes makes me look and feel like I am not tired all the time. When you "feel" like you look good...your attitude changes. Yes, the price is probably a little higher than one of those other lash places but honestly you get what you pay for. My lashes last 3 weeks before having to fill again. I get compliments on them all the time about how natural they look. Janeiro created a very special place here...she is very customer satisfaction driven and has literally thought of everything...even down to the sparkling water they offer should you want a refreshment prior or after your appointment. I chose a full set of mink lashes for a lighter feeling & longer wear. The first visit lasted an hour and a half but each and every individual lash was extended! Plus the building is beautiful inside & very welcoming. I made my hour-long touch up appointment for 3 weeks later (see my weekly photo journey--I probably could have gone even longer in between! The mink lashes have great shelf life). Janeiro is also very flexible at each follow-up appt, willing to go longer/shorter/bolder, whatever floats your boat! LOVE LOVE LOVE looking glamorous and ready-to-go after just rolling out of bed. Original full set of mink were $170, and touch-ups thereafter $70.
