The technician was so gentle I almost fell asleep, which is saying a lot because I don't even trust people near my eyeballs like that. The salon was clean, quiet, and relaxing--basically the opposite of my daily chaos. My lashes came out super lightweight but still full, like natural... if my natural self were just better. They've been holding up really well too, surviving naps, showers, and me aggressively rubbing my eyes at 2am (don't recommend, but still). Only downside? I have been getting regular refills of the signature sunflower design and it lasts between 3-4 weeks. Crystal Han is a great lash tech! The booking system is really easy through Vagaro. I was previously going to a different last tech in LA. However, the glue/material they were using was too low quality. The extensions only lasted 1-2 weeks and didn't look as good. Now that I come here for my extensions, I don't need to refill as often because they actually last a long time. Thank you Crystal! read more

I had the sunflower design with vivi. She was very nice and patient. I removed the other lashes with 15 dollars removal fee since they weren't done at Sumi. They have seperate private areas like rooms which I liked. I will say I did think the sunflower although I was told was a natural style would look slightly more impactful but they came out nice. I would give them another try with a different design. It's located in diamond jamboree above 85 degree bakery. That parking lot is a zoo so that's the only slight downside. All in all I would recommend Sumi lashes and ViVi. Although I'm not sure if I'm ready to leave my other lash place yet. read more

The reason for my change of heart and low rating now is all due to one employee who has treated me so terribly and left such a horrible taste in my mouth the last several times I've come in. She clearly has zero talent or experience and she lacks the ability to properly communicate or understand when you try to explain to her what kind of look you're aiming for. I showed my lash tech a picture of what I wanted I got the complete opposite. I chose the style I wanted by texting them a picture and asking what style it was, they said "layered style" so that's what I booked. I then asked her against my appointment and got a different answer "anime style" and I asked her to not make it so dark and to space it apart like the phot. Which was uploaded by the owner on yelp. So I'm confused why I didn't get the result I wanted since they've done it before. The lashes looked wonky and hideous not to mention poked my eyes everyone I blinked. The lady also kept complaining about my "oily skin" to excuse that the lashes don't stay long.
